News: Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said Monday safety Jordan Bernstine, who injured his knee Week 1 against the Saints, will be out for the season with a torn ACL, MCL and PCL.
Analysis: Bernstine was just a backup safety for the Redskins and had no Fantasy appeal. Continue to ignore him in IDP formats.
News: Washington defensive back and special teams player Jordan Bernstine was injured during Sunday's Week 1 game at New Orleans. Bernstine was hurt in the fourth quarter on a kick return. He was carted off the field with a right knee sprain. Bernstine did not have any tackles in the game.
Analysis: Bernstine is a reserve defender for the Redskins and not expected to record many tackles this season. He has limited Fantasy value, when healthy, in IDP formats.
News:Robert Griffin III might have been the big name the Redskins took in the NFL Draft, but they also picked up three defenders: Texas linebacker Keenan Robinson, SMU cornerback Richard Crawford and Iowa safety Jordan Bernstine.
Analysis: Robinson is the one to watch of this trio because he plays at a position that historically picks up a lot of tackles. He could end up finding the field in 2013 or whenever London Fletcher decided he's had enough. He's worth a late pick in dynasty/keeper leagues and rookie-only drafts. Crawford and Bernstine aren't worth a look just yet.
