(10/7/2014) The Redskins waived defensive backs Richard Crawford and Akeem Davis Tuesday, according to the league's transaction report. Of the two, only Davis saw work on defense before being cut, playing three defensive snaps against the Giants in Week 4.

(9/29/2014) According to the Washington Times, the Redskins have signed former Vikings safety Jamarca Sanford and cornerback Richard Crawford on Monday.

Sanford was placed on injured reserve with ankle injury in the preseason by the Vikings before he was eventually cut. Crawford was cut by the Redskins earlier in the month.
