(5/2/2014) Redskins cornerback Richard Crawford said he could play in a game "tomorrow" if necessary in his recovery from last year's torn ACL, reports ESPN.

That said, he is not participating in the voluntary minicamp this week. If healthy, Crawford will compete for a role as a reserve defensive back this season.

(3/30/2014) Redskins defensive back Richard Crawford was ahead of schedule in his recovery from knee surgery last month, and is hoping to receive medical clearance soon. With OTAs coming up, however, he has yet to receive clearance as he told CSNWashington.com Saturday. He will visit with Dr. James Andrews for a follow up, though it is not clear when that will occur.

(8/24/2013) Mike Shanahan revealed that cornerback Richard Crawford is likely out for the season with a torn LCL and possibly ACL, reports the Washington Post. He added that more tests on the ACL are coming.

Crawford sustained the injury on a punt return in the second quarter of the Redskins' preseason game Saturday against the Bills.
