Ravens add TE Phillip Supernaw to active roster

(12/5/2014) The Ravens have added tight end Phillip Supernaw to the active roster on Friday, according to the Baltimore Sun . He'll be taking the spot of Haloti Ngata, who was suspended four games for flunking a performance-enhancing drug test. Supernaw was signed to the practice squad earlier in the week, just a day after he was waived by Kansas City. He has only two catches this season.

The Chiefs had added Supernaw to their active roster for a few weeks after signing him off the Baltimore practice squad. He has two catches for one yard this season.

(11/30/2014) The Chiefs have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday night's matchup with the Broncos: wide receiver Junior Hemingway (concussion), cornerback Jamell Fleming (hamstring), tight end Phillip Supernaw, quarterback Aaron Murray, center Eric Kush, tackle Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and defensive tackle Nick Williams.

Hemingway was previously ruled out on the team's final injury report. Fleming had been listed as probable to play in Week 13.

The team will have both defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson (calf) and cornerback Chris Owens (knee, abdomen) after both players were listed as questionable. While Fleming is inactive after being listed as probable, the following probables are active Sunday night: wide receiver Donnie Avery (groin), punter Dustin Colquitt (knee), tight end Anthony Fasano (knee), linebacker Tamba Hali (knee), cornerback Sean Smith (groin) and tackle Donald Stephenson (shoulder).

Anthony Sherman hauled in one pass for 13 yards. Phillip Supernaw also caught one pass, gaining 3 yards. Both players will look for more Week 12 against the Raiders.

(10/3/2014) The Ravens have deemed featured back Bernard Pierce (thigh) as probable for the Sunday game at Indianapolis despite John Harbaugh already declaring him ready to go.

The bad news for Baltimore is that defensive linemen Chris Canty (illness) and Timmy Jernigan (knee) are both doubtful, as is tackle Eugene Monroe (knee).

The questionables are linebacker Terrell Suggs (thigh) and tight end Phillip Supernaw (thigh). Suggs, however, is expected to play after participating in Friday practice.

The offensive players now gone are linemen Parker Graham, A.Q. Shipley and Ryan Jensen, tight end Phillip Supernaw, quarterback Keith Wenning and running back Fitzgerald Toussaint.

Those on defense include defensive backs Dominique Franks, Derek Cox, Tramain Jacobs and Sammy Seamster, linebacker John Simon and linemen Jamie Meder and A.J. Pataiali'i.

The team also placed wide receiver Jeremy Butler on injured reserve.
