(1/11/2014) Saints running back Pierre Thomas (chest) is the lone injured player on the inactive report for the Saturday playoff battle in Seattle.

The healthy scratches are quarterback Ryan Griffin, corernback Terrence Frederick, linebacker Rufus Johnson, safety Jordan Pugh, defensive end Tyrunn Walker and wide receiver Nick Toon.

The healthy inactives are quarterback Ryan Griffin, wideout Nick Toon, cornerback Trevin Wade and defensive end Tyrunn Walker.

(11/17/2013) The Saints are fairly healthy heading into their game Sunday against San Francisco. All but defensive end Tyrunn Walker (knee), tight end Benjamin Watson and safety Kenny Vaccaro, both with concussions, are healthy scratches among their inactives.

Included are tackle Terron Armstead, quarterback Ryan Griffin, running back Khiry Robinson and cornerback Rod Sweeting.

The remainder of the team's injured defenders are expected to play through their injuries Sunday, including: defensive linemen Tyrunn Walker (knee), Cameron Jordan (ankle) and Akiem Hicks (back); and defensive backs Roman Harper (knee) and Malcolm Jenkins (knee).

(11/10/2013) The Saints listed seven players as inactive for Sunday night's game vs. Dallas: Safeties Malcolm Jenkins and Roman Harper, quarterback Ryan Griffin, running back Khiry Robinson, defensive back Rod Sweeting, offensive tackle Terron Armstead, defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker.

Jenkins will miss his second straight game with a knee injury, while Harper has been out since Week 2 with his own knee problem.

Of the eight players on the injury report, seven are considered questionable. They are: linebacker David Hawthorne (toe) and Curtis Lofton (hamstring, ankle); defensive linemen Tom Johnson (hip), Cameron Jordan (ankle) and Tyrunn Walker (knee); and defensive backs Malcolm Jenkins (knee) and Roman Harper (knee).

Walker, who is dealing with a knee injury, had been questionable to play in the game on Friday's official injury report. Walker has four tackles and a sack in three games.

(11/1/2013) The Saints have some serious injury questions heading into Week 9 against the Jets, with eight players from the defensive side of the ball dealing with injuries. Among those eight, just three are probable for Sunday's game: defensive lineman Akiem Hicks (knee), linebacker David Hawthorne (ankle) and defensive back Malcolm Jenkins (knee).

The bigger concern for the Saints are the five defenders considered questionable for the game. Defensive linemen Cameron Jordan (ankle), Tyrunn Walker (knee) and Tom Johnson, as well as defensive backs Kenny Vaccaro (concussion, back) and Roman Harper (knee) are all at risk of missing Sunday's game.
