News: The Ravens promoted safety Omar Brown from the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday.
Analysis: Brown takes the roster spot vacated by the suspension of cornerback Asa Jackson. Jackson was primarily a special teams player, so we aren't expecting a big role from Brown. He should not be added in Fantasy IDP formats.
News: The Ravens continued trimming their roster Friday in preparation for the regular season and released the following players: linebacker Chavis Williams; defensive linemen Nicolas Jean-Baptiste, Terrence Moore and Ishmaa'ily Kitchen; defensive back Omar Brown; and linebacker Nigel Carr.
Analysis: Some of these players were able to make an early impression in training camp and survive the first round of cuts. However, neither of them were ultimately expected to make a Fantasy impact this season and should be left on waivers at this point.
