by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(11/28/2014) Vikings tight end Chase Ford (hamstring, foot) and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (knee) were all listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Carolina, according to the team's final injury report released Friday. Running back Jerick McKinnon (low back) was deemed doubtful, but told reporters following practice he will not play Week 13.

Meanwhile, the following players were labeled as probable: Safety Harrison Smith (shoulder, ankle), wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson (knee), running back Matt Asiata (concussion), tackle Matt Kalil (knee), linebacker Anthony Barr (knee), tight end Kyle Rudolph (abdomen, groin), wide receiver Jarius Wright (hamstring), wide receiver Greg Jennings (rib) and tackle Michael Harris (ankle).

Cordarrelle Patterson does little for the Vikings Week 12

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/23/2014) Vikings wideout Cordarrelle Patterson did little Week 12 against the Packers.

Patterson finished with two catches for 18 yards during the contest. He dealt with ankle and knee issues throughout the game. Patterson left twice due to injury, but was able to return both times.

The rest of the team's backup pass catchers failed to do much as well. Rhett Ellison caught two passes for 11 yards. Chase Ford had just one catch, but gained 13 yards.

They'll look for more Week 13 against the Panthers.

Jerick McKinnon, Kyle Rudolph ready to go Week 11

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/16/2014) The Vikings will have running back Jerick McKinnon and tight end Kyle Rudolph Week 11 against the Bears.

McKinnon was listed as probable coming into the game due to a back injury. Rudolph is ready to return after groin surgery. He missed six games due to the surgery. The team will also have Chase Ford, who is dealing with a foot injury.

Vikings TE Chase Ford ready to go

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/14/2014) Vikings tight end Chase Ford is listed as probable Week 11 against the Bears.

Ford is dealing with a foot injury. He's been a full participant in practice each day this week, and should be good to go Sunday.

Chase Ford hauls in first touchdown pass

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(11/2/2014) Vikings tight end Chase Ford has found his place in the offense and looks like he might be someone for Fantasy owners to keep an eye on after scoring his first touchdown in Week 9 against the Redskins.

Forde snagged five of seven passes thrown his way for 66 yards, one week after hauling in all six passes for 61 yards. He has become a bigger part of the team's offense recently, and scored the lone passing touchdown in Sunday's win over Washington, on a 20-yard pass from Teddy Bridgewater.

Ford has 30-plus receiving yards in four of the last five games, and has steadily increased his production throughout the season. He should not be viewed as a starting Fantasy option, but might be someone worth keeping an eye on on waivers moving forward.

Vikings TE Chase Ford scores first career TD in Week 9 win

by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(11/2/2014) Vikings tight end Chase Ford recorded his first career touchdown Sunday and made an impact in a 29-26 win Week 9 vs. Washington. Ford, who was targeted seven times, finished with five catches for 66 yards.

Ford helped rally Minnesota from an early 10-point deficit as he got behind the defense for a wide-open, 20-yard touchdown catch with 36 seconds left in the first half. It was Minnesota's first score on the afternoon.

"It felt really awesome," Ford said, per the Pioneer Press. "I didn’t really think it was going to be that easy, but I’ll take it."

Ford has totaled 11 catches for 127 yards in his last two games. The Vikings are on a bye Week 10 before returning to action Week 11 at Chicago.

Vikings healthy as they await battle against Redskins

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(10/31/2014) Aside from ruled-out tight end Kyle Rudolph (abdomen/groin), the Vikings are in fine shape as they await their Sunday game against Washington.

Listed as questionable is cornerback Jabari Price (hamstring). The probables are defensive end Brian Robison (glute), cornerback Josh Robinson (ankle), defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (ankle/knee), linebacker Gerald Hodges (hamstring), safety Antone Exum (ankle/shoulder) and tight end Chase Ford (foot).

Hard to get excited about Chase Ford

by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(10/27/2014) Vikings tight end Chase Ford, who has been filling in for an injured Kyle Rudolph since Week 4, finally had a respectable performance Week 8 at Tampa Bay, catching all six passes thrown his way for 61 yards. Of course, it came a just week after being shut out on three targets, his only game without a catch since Rudolph went down.

And that's kind of the problem. He has a rookie quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater who, like most rookie quarterbacks, has an extremely low floor every week. He'll hold his own when he faces teams like the Buccaneers, but with less favorable matchups, he may struggle to throw for even 200 yards.

And it's not like Ford is a playmaker himself. He needs good quarterback play to put up decent numbers in Fantasy. For standard league use, the odds are against him, especially since Rudolph figures to return from his groin injury at some point.

Vikings TE Chase Ford sets career highs Week 8

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(10/26/2014) Vikings tight end Chase Ford set career highs with six catches for 61 yards in the overtime win at Tampa Bay. The second-year pro caught each of his targets and ranked second on the team in receiving behind Cordarrelle Patterson.

Ford, who entered Week 8 with eight catches this season, plays the Redskins in Week 9.

Probables dominate Vikings injury report issued Friday

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(10/24/2014) The Vikings have placed 11 players on their Friday injury report, but only two have been deemed worse than questionable. They are ruled-out tight end Kyle Rudolph (abdomen/groin) and doubtful linebacker Gerald Hodges (hamstring).

Guard Vladimir Ducasse (knee), safety Antone Exum (ankle) and cornerback Josh Robinson (ankle) are questionable. The probables are tight end Chase Ford (foot), defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (ankle), cornerback Jabari Price (hamstring), safety Harrison Smith (ankle), center John Sullivan (concussion) and defensive end Corey Wootton (back).

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(10/17/2014) As expected, the Vikings have ruled tight end Kyle Rudolph (abdomen, groin) out for Week 7 at Buffalo. Other players ruled out on the final injury report were: linebacker Gerald Hodges (hamstring) and defensive end Corey Wootton (lower back).

He did have a rushing attempt, and gained 21 yards. Rhett Ellison caught one pass for 4 yards.

The group will take on the Bills Week 7.

Vikings TE Chase Ford does little Week 5

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(10/3/2014) Vikings tight end Chase Ford produced little Week 5 against the Packers.

Ford hauled in three passes for 31 yards during the contest. He was targeted just four times. Ford is attempting to replace Kyle Rudolph, who has missed the past few games following surgery. While his 31 yards was tied for second on the club Thursday, Ford didn't play a big role in the offense.

Ford will take on the Lions Week 6.

Vikings backup pass catchers do little Week 4

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(9/28/2014) The Vikings backup pass catchers did little Week 4 against the Falcons.
