Patriots reveal Week 3 inactives

by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(9/21/2014) The Patriots' list of inactives for Week 3 against Oakland includes defensive back Alfonzo Dennard (shoulder), defensive back Don Jones (hamstring), offensive lineman Ryan Wendell (knee), defensive lineman Zach Moore, wide receiver Aaron Dobson, offensive lineman Josh Kline and running back James White. Moore, Dobson, Kline and White are all healthy scratches.

Patriots claim Don Jones off waivers

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(9/1/2014) The Patriots have been awarded safety Don Jones on waivers from the Dolphins and waived offensive lineman Chris Barker in a corresponding move.

The Patriots will likely be looking for some extra insight on their Week 1 opponent after bringing the former Dolphin into the fold. The move leaves the Patriots with six safeties on the roster.

Dolphins healthy for Sunday game

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(12/27/2013) The Dolphins have placed 10 players on their Friday injury report, but only running back Daniel Thomas (ankle) is questionable for the critical battle against the Jets. The others are probable, including quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee). The other offensive players are wide receivers Brian Hartline (knee) and Marlon Moore (wrist).

The defensive probables are defensive backs Jamar Taylor (hamstring), Don Jones (elbow/abdomen) and Chris Clemons (knee/hamstring), linebacker Koa Misi (triceps) and tackles Jared Odrick (wrist) and Paul Soliai (ankle).

Defensive players dominate Dolphins injury report

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(11/22/2013) Only defensive players are listed on the Friday injury report released by the Dolphins. But most of them are probable and will almost certainly play against Carolina on Sunday.

The probables are cornerback Nolan Carroll (ankle), safety Chris Clemons (glute), linebackers Dannell Ellerbe (knee), Koa Misi (shoulder) and Jonathan Freeny (shoulder) and tackle Paul Soliai (knee).

Listed as questionable are end Cameron Wake (knee), linebacker Jason Trusnik (rib) and cornerback Don Jones (elbow). Fellow cornerback Dimitri Patterson (groin) is out.

Defenders dominate Dolphins injury report

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(11/15/2013) What are the odds of a 10-player injury report in which everyone listed is a defensive player? Such was the case with the report submitted Friday by the Dolphins.

The only defender ruled out is cornerback Dimitri Patterson (groin). Fellow corner Don Jones (elbow) is questionable as are end Cameron Wake (knee) and Jason Trusnik (rib).

The others are all probable. They are cornerback Nolan Carroll (ankle), safety Chris Clemons (glute), linebackers Koa Misi (shoulder), Dannell Ellerbe (knee) and Jonathan Freeny (shoulder) and tackle Paul Soliai (knee).

Dolphins defense largely healthy Sunday

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(10/6/2013) The Dolphins lengthy list of injured defenders for Week 5 was nearly erased prior to kickoff Sunday, as only one player was sidelined by his injury.

Defensive backs Nolan Carroll (ankle), Chris Clemons (glute) and Don Jones (elbow) were able to take the field, while Dimitri Patterson (groin) was the only one forced to sit out.

Other injured players able to take the field for Miami included: linebackers Jason Trusnick (rib), Koa Misi (shoulder), Jonathan Freeny (shoulder) and Dannell Ellerbe (knee), along with defensive linemen Paul Soliai (knee) and Cameron Wake (knee).

Defensive players dominate Dolphins injury report

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(10/4/2013) The Dolphins released a Week 5 injury report on Friday that, strangely, includes 10 defensive players and just one on offense.

Ruled out for the game against Baltimore is cornerback Dimitri Patterson (groin). Among the questionable are wide receiver Brandon Gibson (ankle), cornerback Don Jones (elbow), linebacker Jason Trusnik (rib) and defensive end Cameron Wake (knee).

Linebacker Donnell Ellerbe (knee) is probable, as are cornerback Nolan Carroll (ankle), safety Chris Clemons (glute), linebacker Jonathan Freeny (shoulder), linebacker Koa Misi (shoulder) and defensive tackle Paul Soliai (knee).
