Janoris Jenkins among Rams' Week 9 inactives vs. 49ers

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(11/2/2014) The Rams have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 9 matchup against the 49ers: cornerback Janoris Jenkins (knee), safeties Cody Davis (concussion) and Maurice Alexander, linebacker Korey Toomer, defensive lineman Ethan Westbrooks, offensive lineman Brandon Washington and tight end Alex Bayer.

Jenkins was one of four players listed as questionable on Friday's final injury report, but he's the only player of the four to be held out of action Sunday. Davis was listed as probable but may not have been needed with Rodney McLeod (knee) and Lamarcus Joyner (hip) good to go.

Rams defense held sackless, scores touchdown in Week 3

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(9/21/2014) The Rams didn't record a sack in Week 3's 34-31 loss to the Cowboys but did return an interception for a touchdown in the game.

Rams defensive end Robert Quinn saw plenty of double and triple teams with Chris Long sidelined, and none of his linemates were able to set up and hit Tony Romo with a sack. With the Rams already up 14-0 in the second quarter, cornerback Janoris Jenkins stepped in front of a Romo pass and cut an easy path to the end zone after making the pick. Defensive back Cody Davis managed to recover a DeMarco Murray fumble in the first quarter, giving the defense two turnovers on the day. The highly-regarded Rams defense has just one sack through three games heading into a Week 4 bye. A matchup with the Eagles awaits them on the other side of the week off.
