Eight Jaguars skip trip to Chicago

(8/14/2014) The following Jaguars players did not travel to Chicago for Week 2 of preseason: linebacker Paul Posluszny, wide receiver Tandon Doss, safety Deion Belue, linebacker Dekoda Watson, wide receiver Allen Robinson, wide receiver Lamaar Thomas, wide receiver Cecil Shorts and tight end Clay Harbor.

(6/6/2014) Jaguars rookie receiver Marqise Lee missed his third consecutive practice Thursday with an ankle injury, reports the Florida Times-Union. He was joined on the sidelines by wideouts Cecil Shorts (calf), Ace Sanders (hamstring), Mike Brown (groin), rookie Allen Robinson (hamstring), Tandon Doss (calf) and Lamaar Thomas (knee).

Jaguars receivers effective Week 17

(12/29/2013) The Jaguars pass catchers were effective Week 17 against the Colts.

Kerry Taylor led the way for the Jaguars, catching eight passes for 75 yards. He also managed to catch a 14 yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Marcedes Lewis continued his strong second half, gaining 70 yards and three catches. Ace Sanders had six catches for 50 yards. 

Mike Brown caught three passes for 43 yards. Lamaar Thomas and Danny Noble each caught one ball. Clay Harbor had 11 yards before leaving with an injury. Jordan Todman had one catch for 12 yards. He also carried the ball twice for 3 yards.


Denard Robinson, Lamaar Thomas contribute

(12/22/2013) Jaguars running back Denard Robinson and wide receiver Lamaar Thomas both made small contributions Week 16 against the Titans.

Robinson had one carry for 11 yards, and Thomas had one catch for 13. Thomas' catch was the first of his career.


Jaguars promote pair from practice squad

(12/20/2013) The Jaguars have elevated wide receiver Lamaar Thomas and defensive tackle Jordan Miller from their practice squad.

The moves were precipitated by the placing of wideout Jeremy Ebert on IR on Friday.

(10/1/2013) The Jaguars re-signed receivers Jeremy Ebert and Tobais Palmer to their practice squad and waived cornerback Marcus Burley and defensive end Chris McCoy from the squad. Jacksonville also signed receiver Lamaar Thomas and defensive tackle Jordan Miller to the squad.


Broncos announce cuts to get down to final 53

(8/31/2013) Running back Lance Ball and offensive lineman Ryan Lilja, who was attempting a comeback, where the two most notable cuts made by the Broncos on Saturday.

The offensive cuts were as follows: center C.J. Davis, running back Jeremiah Johnson, tight end Jake O'Connell, offensive lineman Philip Blake, tackle Paul Cornick, wide receiver Tavarres King, tackle Vinston Painter, wide receiver Gerell Robinson and wide receiver Lamaar Thomas.

Those on defense waived were end Jeremy Beal, tackle Romney Fuga, tackle Ben Garland, cornerback Aaron Hester, linebacker Damien Holmes, safety Ross Rasner and defensive end John Youboty.

The Broncos also placed linebackers Stewart Bradley and Lerentee McCray, as well as defensive end Quanterus Smith on IR. Star linebacker Von Miller is now on the Reserve/Suspended list.
