by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/30/2014) Cardinals wideout Jaron Brown led the team in receiving Week 13 against the Falcons.

Brown hauled in a team-high seven passes for 75 yards. He was targeted nine times, which ranked second on Arizona. Brown was mostly used on short routes, with his longest catch of the day registering 23 yards. For the most part, he was targeted on shorter routes. Brown was also the target of a two-point conversion, but couldn't come up with the catch. There was pass interference on the play, and the team was able to convert on a run on the second chance.

Brown will look for more Week 14 against the Chiefs.

Cardinals WR John Brown paces tepid receiving attack in Week 12

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(11/23/2014) Cardinals wide receiver John Brown caught three of his five targets for a team-high 61 yards in Arizona's 19-3 loss in Seattle in Week 12.

Brown's reception late in the third quarter was a thing of beauty, shaking off his coverage while djusting to an underthrown ball and barely keeping his toes in bounds while falling to the sideline. The play stood after being challenged by the Seahawks. Unfortunately, it was one of precious few highlights for the passing game against a stout Seattle defense.

Michael Floyd was held catchless on just two offical targets, and only four players on the Cardinals offense were able to haul in at least one reception. Running back Andre Ellington managed a team-high five catches, while tight end John Carlson caught three passes for 25 yards and wide receiver Jaron Brown hauled in three passes for 24 yards. Larry Fitzgerald was inactive with a sprained knee ligament.

The Cardinals offense will hope to bounce back with a likely easier matchup in Atlanta in Week 13.

(9/5/2013) Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said he plans to stick with four wide receivers for the time being. The four receivers on the roster are Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, Andre Roberts and rookie Jaron Brown.

"We’ve decided to stick with six corners and five running backs, so we’ll probably stay put there for a while unless some (one) really comes across that’s special," Arians said, per NFL.com.

If the team needs a fifth receiver, then cornerback Patrick Peterson will fill that role.

"I kind of teased Larry about it today and he was like, ‘Technically, you’re our fifth receiver,’" Peterson said.
