(3/19/2014) The Titans released kicker Rob Bironas, saving $3.125 million, reports the Tennessean. Bironas hit 25 of 29 field goals last year but his touchback percentage declined for the third straight season.

(12/29/2013) Titans kicker Rob Bironas finished the season strong in Week 17 against the Texans, as he scored 10 points in a 16-10 win. Bironas made all three of his field-goal attempts, from 42, 55 and 37 yards, and added a successful point after touchdown in the win.

Bironas ends the season having connected on 25 of 29 field goals, just above his career averaging.

(12/22/2013) Titans kicker Rob Bironas fell short of the 10 points he scored against Arizona last week, but delivered a solid eight Week 16 at Jacksonville. He kicked a 45-yard field goal in the first quarter and a 52-yarder in the second and also had two extra points.

The Titans host the Texans in Week 17.

Bironas was only able to score on four extra point chances. The three times the team got into field goal range, they were able to pick up touchdowns. The Titans fourth touchdown came on a 41 yard pass. Bironas will take on the Cardinals Week 15.

Bironas drilled a 33-yard field goal late in the first quarter and a 22-yarder early in the second quarter. He then knocked down a 23-yard shot in the fourth quarter. He finished 3 for 3 in field goal attempts and added two extra points in a 23-19 victory.

Bironas is 15 for 18 on the season on field-goal attempts, but has not missed on seven tries in the last five games.

(10/6/2013) After averaging 8.0 points in his first four games, Titans kicker Rob Bironas ended up having his worst scoring output of the season Week 5 against the Chiefs, finishing with just five points. He had a 22-yard field goal in the third quarter and two extra points.

Bironas had a chance at three more points in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, when the Titans lined up for what would have been a useless field goal, but he was wide ride on the 32-yard attempt.

The Titans visit the Seahawks in Week 6.

Bironas has not had less than six points in any game. The Titans' next opponent will be the Jets in Week 4.

The kicker went 3 for 3 on field goals with a long of 44 yards. He added one extra point and finished with 10 points scored on the game. The Titans play at Houston Week 2.
