(11/24/2014) Giants kicker Josh Brown didn't attempt a field goal in his team's 31-28 loss to the Cowboys in Week 12 but managed to successfully convert all four of his extra-point tries.

It's the fifth time this season Brown hasn't received a field-goal attempt, and he's managed multiple attempts just twice in his 11 games this year. Brown will square off with the Jaguars in Week 13.

Brown has finished with less than 10 points in five straight games. The Giants are back in action Week 12 vs. Dallas.

(10/5/2014) Giants kicker Josh Brown made three field goals and finished with 12 points during a 30-20 win Week 5 vs. Atlanta.

Brown made a 49-yard field goal in the second quarter, and then added a 26-yarder and 50-yarder in the fourth quarter. The 50-yard field goal was Brown's longest this season.

He has finished with at least nine points in three straight games. The Giants are back in action Week 6 at Philadelphia.

Brown was busy despite only receiving one field goal. He wound up kicking six extra points during the game. His only field goal came with a second to go before half time. Brown hit from 29 yards out to pad the Giants lead.

Brown will take on the Falcons Week 5.

(9/21/2014) After getting little work through the first two games, Giants kicker Josh Brown was plenty busy during a 30-17 win Week 3 vs. Houston. Brown made six kicks, including three field goals, and finished with 12 points.

Brown attempted no field goals through the first two games -- both New York losses. In fact, his first field-goal attempt Sunday was supposed to be a 30-yard attempt early in the second quarter, but he never got the chance because of a bad snap.

Brown did kick two extra points in the second quarter. He then added a 39-yard field goal in the third quarter, another extra point in the fourth quarter, as well as field goals of 29 and 31 yards.

The Giants are back in action Week 4 at Washington.

(1/29/2014) Kicker Josh Brown appears on the verge of re-signing with the Giants for at least one year, reports The Star-Ledger. “I absolutely would love to be back with the Giants. I conveyed that with them,” Brown told the paper Wednesday. “I was picking up that they were feeling the same exact way.”

Brown, 34, showed a knack for kicking off high and deep, improving the Giants' coverage, and he converted 23 of 26 field goals.

It was the second time this season Brown finished with no points, fourth time he attempted no field goals and sixth time he finished with no field goals. The Giants are back in action Week 16 at Detroit.

Brown made field goals of 40 and 44 yards in the first quarter. He came back in the second quarter with field goals of 33 and 46 yards. His last field goal was a 27-yard conversion in the fourth quarter.

Brown has made eight field goals in his last two games after getting no field goals in four straight games from Week 3-6. He has 26 points in his last two games.

The Giants are on a bye Week 9 before returning to action Week 10 vs. Oakland.

(9/29/2013) The Giants fell to the Chiefs 31-7 Week 4, so once again kicker Josh Brown didn't get many scoring chances. Still, he didn't take advantage of all the opportunities he was given, missing a crucial kick right before halftime.

Brown hooked a 44-yard field goal wide left with two seconds left in the second quarter, which would have tied the game at 10 and given New York momentum heading into halftime.

"I think the ball just didn't go where I wanted it to go," Brown said, per the New York Daily News.

Brown made his lone extra point Sunday, but he has now missed his last two field goals and has just one point in his last two games after totaling 18 in his first two games. The Giants are back in action Week 5 vs. Philadelphia.

(9/22/2013) Giants kicker Josh Brown didn't get many chances to put points on the board during a 38-0 loss Week 3 at Carolina. Brown's only scoring chance came in the form of a 38-yard field goal in the first half, which he missed.

Brown was 4 for 4 on field-goal attempts coming into Sunday's game. The Giants' next opponent is Kansas City in Week 4.
