Bills' Rex Ryan expects to sign OT Wayne Hunter

by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com
(6/18/2015) It's likely that offensive tackle Wayne Hunter will sign a free-agent deal with the Bills.

Bills coach Rex Ryan said on Thursday that he's expecting to sign Hunter to a contract, according to ESPN.com. Hunter took part in the final two days of minicamp on a tryout basis.

"Yeah, I think he'll be signed," Ryan said after Thursday's practice. "We're just putting him through the individual drills. We weren't putting him through any team drills. Just he kind of gets his feet wet and picks up some terminology and things like that, where he'll have a better chance when we get back out there in training camp.

The move will cost a roster spot for someone else as the Bills are at the offseason 90-man limit.

Hunter played under Ryan with the Jets from 2009-2011 and last played in the NFL with the Rams in 2012.
