News: The Bills have released cornerback Terrence McGee Thursday, according to ESPN. McGee spent the final two months of the regular season on the injured reserve list because of a nagging knee injury.
Analysis: McGee tried to return from offseason patellar tendon surgery, but his knee never fully recovered. In fact, the 32-year-old landed on IR in three of the last four seasons. At this point, in his career, McGee obviously has some durability issues, which may keep some team away from signing him. He did not have much Fantasy appeal last season and should be left undrafted heading into next season.
News: The Bills announced Tuesday cornerback Terrence McGee was placed on injured reserve because of lingering knee problems.
Analysis: McGee tried to return from offseason patellar tendon surgery, but his knee never fully recovered and he had issues making it through an entire game. McGee didn't have any Fantasy appeal, so continue to leave him off rosters.
News: Just when Bills CB Terrence McGee appeared to be taking a few steps forward in his recovery from patella tendon surgery, he took a significant step backward. Coach Chan Gailey said that McGee suffered a setback during Monday's practice session and the veteran will not return to the field this week. His knee got a little weaker in practice yesterday, so we're sitting him and seeing where he goes, Gailey said. "He's not going to play this week, so we'll have to see where that takes us."
Analysis: McGee was expected to contribute as a veteran presence and mentor for young cornerbacks Stephon Gilmore and Aaron Williams. That said, he wasn't expected to put up stats worthy of use in IDP formats, so Fantasy owners can leave him alone.
News: The Bills announced that CB Terrence McGee agreed to restructure his contract. He should be a candidate to make the team's final roster this summer.
Analysis: McGee doesn't put up enough stats to warrant Fantasy use, so keep him off of rosters.
News: Buffalo DB Terrence McGee was placed on injured reserve Tuesday after having surgery on his ailing knee. McGee had the procedure of Monday and will miss the remainder of the season. The Bills also placed WR Donald Jones on season-ending injured reserve.
Analysis: McGee was Buffalo's top cornerback despite missing four games earlier this season with a hamstring injury. He finished with 28 tackles but did not record an interception for the season year in a row. Fantasy owners should release him in all IDP formats for now.
News: In another blow to Buffalo's injury-depleted defense, CB Terrence McGee (knee) is out for the year. McGee, the team's top cornerback, underwent surgery Monday morning.
Analysis: McGee missed four games earlier in the season with a hamstring injury, but returned in mid-October and has been playing well ever since. He had become a viable Fantasy DB again, but now McGee can be dumped onto waivers.
News: Buffalo DB Terrence McGee left late in the second quarter of Week 11 against Miami with an apparent leg injury. McGee was carted off the field after suffering the injury while defending Dolphins WR Davone Bess near the end zone. He is questionable to return.
Analysis: McGee was the third player to leave Sunday's game with an injury and joined WR Donald Jones with a leg issue. He did not record a tackle before departing. Fantasy owners should monitor his health, but he remains a low-end option in IDP formats when healthy.
News: Buffalo DB Terrence McGee had a season-high eight tackles during the Bills' 27-11 loss to the Jets in Week 9. McGee, who missed time with a hamstring injury earlier this season, has amassed 22 tackles in three games since his return.
Analysis: McGee finished one tackle shy of the team lead for tackles Sunday as he continues to return to full strength. The veteran cornerback still has yet to record an interception this year and should remain a low-end option in Fantasy IDP formats.
News:The Sports Xchange notes Bills CB Terrence McGee returned to play Week 6 against the Giants for the first time since the opening defensive series in Week 1. McGee, who had been sidelined by a hamstring injury, was in on a team-high 11 tackles and had two pass breakups.
Analysis: We were worried that McGee might get lost in the shuffle at cornerback since the Bills use a lot of defensive backs. But he proved that he can still get the job done as long as he is healthy, so consider adding McGee in larger IDP formats after his stellar performance.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee, who dressed but did not play Sunday's game against the Eagles, is expected to return to the starting lineup in Week 6 against the Giants. "We were trying not to play him if we could get through the game and let him have one more week of getting completely healthy," coach Chan Gailey said. "He'll play this week."
Analysis: McGee has now officially missed the last four games due to a hamstring injury, but should be OK, to return to the lineup this Sunday. However, he still might wind up on the injury report this week, so Fantasy owners should keep an eye on his status moving forward. McGee can be considered a low-end option in most IDP formats, when healthy.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (hamstring) dressed for Sunday's game against Philadelphia but did not play; he's expect to return to the lineup this week. "We were trying not to play him if we could get through the game and let him have one more week of getting completely healthy," coach Chan Gailey said. "He'll play this week."
Analysis: The Bills use a lot of five defensive-back looks and McGee may have to work himself back into the mix. However, he remains a very low-end Fantasy option until further notice.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (hamstring) is active for Week 5 against the Eagles after missing the last three games.
Analysis: The Bills use a lot of five defensive-back looks, so McGee will get on the field plenty in Week 5. However, he remains a very low-end Fantasy option until further notice.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (hamstring) practiced fully for a second straight day Thursday and could return Week 5 against the Eagles after missing a few games. It will be close, it will be real close, Bills coach Chan Gailey said. Hes had two good days [but] the thing is you cant rush those things. If you rush them, youre playing with fire and you dont want to rush it but at the same time if we think after tomorrows practice hes ready, we may do it."
Analysis: The Bills have a lot of depth in their secondary right now, so they can afford to be patient with McGee. But it seems he will return Week 5 as long as he doesn't suffer a setback. It's just that McGee has low-end Fantasy appeal until further notice.
News: The Buffalo News reports that Bills DB Terrence McGee is expected to return to practice on Wednesday. He continues to rehab a hamstring strain suffered on the first defensive play of the season in Week 1. "Terrence is going to practice this week," coach Chan Gailey said. "I don't know if he'll make it to the game, but we've got to get him back into it so he'll be back out there."
Analysis: McGee hasn't played a full season since 2004 due to injuries and he continues to have trouble staying healthy. He will see a prominent role on defense once he returns, but McGee has low-end Fantasy appeal so continue to ignore him until further notice.

News: Bills CB Terrence McGee, who played in just nine games in 2010 because of a nerve problem in his knee, is feeling better as he prepares fro 2011. "As far as the nerve problem, it's gone away," McGee told The Sports Xchange . "I just need to get the strength back up in my leg and I'll be all right." McGee registered 18 tackles on the year in the limited playing time.
Analysis: McGee is not the every-down player he was earlier in his career. He now serves as a situational corner back, ideal for locking up with the opposing team's slot WRs. While his numbers will remain low because of the lack of opportunity, McGee is a big part of the Bills plans as they implement a multiple-front defense in 2011, that will lead to more man coverage. Still, McGee's Fantasy value has no signs of increasing, although he will be healthy for training camp. Don't select the Northwestern State product on Draft Day.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee (nerve problem in knee) saw limited time in the first half Week 14 against the Browns. He was expected to see significant time on defense after returning to the lineup. Coach Chan Gailey said after the game that he believed McGee was fine. McGee had one solo tackle and one pass defense in the game.
Analysis: It seems as though McGee is going to need some time to get back into game shape before he becomes a viable Fantasy option. Leave him alone in IDP leagues for the time being.

News: Bills starting CB Terrence McGee missed practice Thursday a day after aggravating a knee injury, leaving him questionable to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in Week 12.
Analysis: Keep an eye on McGee's status heading into Sunday. When healthy, he's a low-end DB in IDP leagues.
News: Buffalo Bills cornerback Terrence McGee left practice Wednesday because of a knee injury, and it's uncertain if he'll play against Pittsburgh in Week 12. The Bills did not update McGee's status following practice Wednesday, except to list him on their injury report with a knee injury.
Analysis: McGee headed to the sideline during an individual drill. He was joined by a trainer and slowly walked down the sideline before being driven off in a cart. He played as backup the past two games after missing five games while recovering from surgery to repair a nerve problem behind his knee. Hopefully, it is not related, but it most likely is. Keep McGee reserved in all Fantasy formats until he proves healthy and productive.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee is no longer on the team's injury report, meaning he's expected to play in the Week 10 game against Detroit after missing five games because of a nerve problem behind his knee that required surgery.
Analysis: McGee is a solid tackling-DB but he should be ignored in Fantasy play until he proves he can make it through a few games playing at the same level.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (back) was activated for Week 9 against the Bears. He had been considered probable on the injury report and was to be a game-time decision.
Analysis: The Bills secondary is sixth in the NFL in pass defense, so they have managed to survive without McGee. However, that number is a little misleading seeing how teams have run all over the Bills. McGee will be a key part of the Buffalo secondary when healthy, but he is usually a low-end Fantasy DB because he doesn't post big numbers.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee (nerve problem in back) is a game-time decision for Week 9 against the Bears, coach Chan Gailey said. "He practiced and did a lot at practice, so I'm hoping he can make it," Gailey said. McGee simply said he was feeling "all right." He is listed as probable.
Analysis: The game-time decision is probably a precautionary matter in case McGee suffers a last-second setback, but it is encouraging that he is probable. McGee will be a key part of the Buffalo secondary when healthy, but he is usually a low-end Fantasy DB because he doesn't post big numbers.

News: Bills DB Terrence McGee was listed among the inactives for Week 8 at Kansas City. This is the fourth straight game that he has missed since having surgery to repair a nerve problem.
Analysis: McGee was a game-time decision, so he is getting closer to returning to action. He had nine tackles in the three games he had played prior to the surgery and is a low-end Fantasy DB when healthy.
News: Buffalo Bills coach Chan Gailey is uncertain whether S Jairus Byrd (thigh) and CB Terrence McGee (back) will be healthy enough to play at Kansas City in Week 8. Gailey regards both as game-time decisions for the winless Bills. They are officially listed as questionable.
Analysis: McGee has missed half of the practice time this week, and has missed three games after having surgery to repair a nerve problem. He is a low-end Fantasy DB when healthy.

News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (back) has been ruled out for Week 7 at Baltimore. It will be a third straight game he is sidelined.
Analysis: McGee did some very light jogging off to the side during practice Thursday. McGee still appears to be a week or two away from returning to the lineup after undergoing surgery to correct a nerve problem. He is a low-end Fantasy DB when healthy.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee (leg) did not practice on Monday and is not expected to play in Week 7 against the Ravens. McGee has missed the last two games after having minor surgery to correct a nerve problem.
Analysis: McGee is a starter for the Bills, but he doesn't have a ton of Fantasy appeal because he usually doesn't rack up the stats.
News: CB Terrence McGee (knee) said he is hoping to return for Buffalo's Week 7 contest against the Baltimore Ravens. He has missed the last two weeks after having minor surgery to correct a nerve problem. The Bills are on a bye in Week 6.

News: Bills CB Terrence McGee had a medical procedure done on his injured knee, according to coach Chan Gailey Monday. Gailey said McGee will likely be out a couple of weeks. Third-year pro Leodis McKelvin started in place of McGee on Sunday.
Analysis: While McGee might be a name player in the NFL, his Fantasy value is low-end because he doesn't always rack up stats. He is a low-end Fantasy DB when healthy.
News: Buffalo DB Terrence McGee (knee) is listed among the Bills' inactives for Week 4 against the Jets. Second-year pro Leodis McKelvin is expected to play in McGee's place.
Analysis: McGee has established himself as a pretty good corner, so teams try to avoid throwing his way. While McGee might be a name player in the NFL, his Fantasy value is hurt because he doesn't always rack up stats. He is a low-end Fantasy DB when healthy.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee (knee) has officially been ruled out for Week 4 against the New York Jets. Luckily for the Bills, cornerback may be their deepest position on the team.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee intercepted a pass from Colts QB Peyton Manning and returned it 78 yards for a touchdown in Thursday's preseason game in Toronto. "Basically Drayton Florence tipped the ball and I was just in the right spot at the right time," said McGee. "I happened to catch the ball before it hit the ground. At first, I thought someone was going to tackle me so I just took off. My team did the blocking and got me to the end zone." McGee is coming off shoulder surgery that cut his 2009-10 season short.
Analysis: McGee has recovered well from an injury that initially threatened to keep him out for the start of the season. He has some good qualities but isn't reliable enough to use in Fantasy play. Leave him for the deepest of IDP leagues going into the season.
News: A person familiar with a rotator cuff injury sustained by Terrence McGee has told The Associated Press that the Bills cornerback will have season-ending surgery this week. The operation is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday said the person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the team had yet to make an announcement. McGee was hurt early in the third quarter of Buffalo's 17-10 loss to New England in Week 15 when he attempted to break up a pass to Randy Moss.
Analysis: This is a potentially serious injury for McGee, and it could impact his availability for the start of the 2010 season. Regardless, he's no better than a low-end No. 3 Fantasy DB when he's healthy.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee left a Week 15 loss to New England after hurting his right arm during a collision with Randy Moss in the third quarter.
Analysis: McGee has some good qualities but isn't reliable enough to use in IDP Fantasy play when healthy.
News: Bills starting cornerback Terrence McGee is questionable for the Buffalo's game against the New York Jets on Thursday night. McGee has been limited in practice the last two weeks, and has missed the past three games because of a knee injury that required surgery during the bye week. That includes last Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Analysis: McGee has some good qualities but isn't reliable enough to use in Fantasy play since he'll be playing hurt if he plays at all.
News: Bills starting defensive tackle Marcus Stroud and starting cornerback Terrence McGee are questionable for Sunday's game against Miami. Both Stroud and McGee are nursing knee injuries, and both missed last week's loss at Jacksonville. Rookie safety Jairus Byrd (groin) is also questionable.
Analysis: Byrd is worth starting in IDP league play, but the others aren't. The Bills host the run-oriented Dolphins in Week 12.
News: Bills starting cornerback Terrence McGee is practicing for the first time in more than three weeks since having surgery on his right knee, and could play against Miami this weekend. McGee said he experienced no pain in his knee after practicing on a limited basis Thursday. He's been out since having minor surgery on Nov. 2 during Buffalo's bye.
Analysis: McGee has some good qualities but isn't reliable enough to use in Fantasy play. If you want to add him for depth to your IDP league team, feel free.
News: The Bills have listed the following players as inactive for Week 11 at Jacksonville: WR Steve Johnson, DB Terrence McGee, DB Ashton Youboty, WR James Hardy, DL Marcus Stroud and TE Joe Klopfenstein.
Analysis: None of the players listed are expected to carry any significant Fantasy appeal this season. Leave them on waivers until further notice.
News: The Bills listed the following players as inactive for Week 10 at Tennessee: WR Roscoe Parrish, DB Terrence McGee, LB Keith Ellison, DL Chris Ellis and WR James Hardy.
Analysis: None of the players listed are expected to carry any significant Fantasy appeal this season. Leave them on waivers until further notice.
News: Bills starting cornerback Terrence McGee had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to repair minor damage and expects to be out for about two weeks. McGee said Tuesday he waited to have the operation on Monday, when the Bills began their bye week so that he would not miss much playing time. Buffalo is off until a road game against Tennessee on Nov. 15. McGee said doctors told him the operation went well. McGee, who hasn't missed a game this season, injured his knee during a 38-10 loss at Miami on Oct. 4.
Analysis: McGee will be a risky Fantasy option in Week 10 since his knee might be barely healed enough to play. He's no better than a No. 3 Fantasy DB to begin with, so consider other options if you count on him for IDP play.
News: Starting defensive tackle Kyle Williams will miss Buffalo's game Sunday against Houston because of a knee injury sustained in last week's win over Carolina. The Bills will also be without starting safety Donte Whitner (ankle). Safety Bryan Scott is doubtful with an ankle injury, while Chris Kelsay (back) and cornerback Terrence McGee (knee) are both probable.
Analysis: Of these players, only McGee and Kelsay are even remotely useful Fantasy options because they're healthy. Consider them low-end choices for Week 8.
News: Buffalo DB Terrence McGee (knee) has been listed as probable for the team's Week 7 game at Carolina. McGee was able to practice in full on Friday.
Analysis: McGee is a useful No. 3 Fantasy option in IDP formats when healthy, and it appears that he will be for Week 7.
News: Bills S Donte Whitner (ankle) and CB Terrence McGee (chest contusion) are day-to-day, according to head coach Dick Jauron. Both were injured in the team's Week 6 game at the Jets.
Analysis: Whitner and McGee are useful when they're healthy, but so long as they're hobbled owners might want to look for help elsewhere. Generally, Whitner and McGee are good No. 3 DBs.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee, who battled a knee injury in practice this week, managed to play Week 6 at the Jets. He bruised his chest, though, and had to leave, finishing with three solo tackles.
Analysis: McGee is a decent tackler for a defensive back, but he has never gotten more than four interceptions in the season. He's just a low-end option in Fantasy IDP leagues.
News: Buffalo starting middle linebacker Paul Posluszny and starting safety Donte Whitner are both probable for the Bills game at the New York Jets. Posluszny has missed the past four games because of a broken forearm, while Whitner missed his second straight game last Sunday because of a thumb injury. Both players participated fully in practice on Thursday and Friday. Starting safety Bryan Scott (ankle) is out for Sunday's game, while starting linebacker Keith Ellison (knee) is questionable. Starting cornerback Terrence McGee (knee) is probable.
Analysis: Posluszny is a quality run-stopping linebacker, Whitner can play against the run and the pass and McGee is one of the NFL's better cornerbacks. Check to see if these guys are available off waivers in your IDP league as other owners might have given up on them, especially Posluszny. Posluszny would be considered a No. 2 Fantasy LB and Whitner and McGee good No. 3 DBs. Ellison is a decent LB but probably should be avoided since he's not healthy, and Scott doesn't belong on rosters.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee missed practice Wednesday as his left knee continues to bug him. He should be OK for Week 6 at the Jets.
Analysis: McGee was previously considered a solid Fantasy DB but he hasn't been playing as well of late. Consider him a No. 3 option at best against the Jets since he'll be banged up.
News: Bills starting safeties Donte Whitner (thumb) and Bryan Scott (ankle) will both miss their second straight game while starting middle linebacker Paul Posluszny will miss his fourth game because of a broken forearm. Rookie safety Jairus Byrd (hip) and starting cornerback Terrence McGee (knee) are both probable. The Bills host the Browns in Week 5.
Analysis: Of these defenders, McGee is the only one worth using in Week 5 against the Browns. The rest won't be productive enough to warrant use.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee said the brace he is wearing on his left knee this week is just a precautionary measure and he is fine. He is not on the team's injury report.
Analysis: McGee is considered a solid corner with playmaking abilities. He's useful as a No. 2 or 3 Fantasy DB when healthy, though he shouldn't be counted on to make a glut of tackles.
News: The injuries keep piling up on the Bills, who could be missing three-quarters of their defensive backfield for their game at Miami this weekend. Cornerback Leodis McKelvin (broken leg) and safeties Donte Whitner (thumb) and Bryan Scott (high ankle sprain) missed practice Wednesday after they were hurt in a 27-7 loss against New Orleans last weekend. McKelvin is out and Whitner and Scott aren't likely to play. Drayton Florence is expected to fill in for McKelvin while George Wilson and Jairus Byrd will fill in at safety if needed.
Analysis: The harsh reality is that the only usable Fantasy DB on the Bills this week, and possibly in the coming weeks, is Terrence McGee. Consider him a No. 2 option at best, and that's if teams even throw in his direction and not in the way of the backup defenders. Everyone else on the list isn't worth owning in Fantasy play other than Whitner and McKelvin (No. 3 DBs when healthy).
News: Bills DB Leodis McKelvin (fibula) and DB Terrence McGee (ankle) are both active for Week 3 vs. New Orleans. McGee was questionable on the injury report, while McKelvin was probable.
Analysis: Both McGee and McKelvin are considered low-end Fantasy options when healthy. It appears safe to use them in Week 3.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 3 vs. New Orleans. He took limited practice reps all week.
Analysis: McGee has 10 tackles and no interceptions in two games. He is hoping to play Sunday, but Fantasy owners will need to track his progress up until inactives. If healthy, McGee is a low-end Fantasy DB.
News: Bills starting cornerback Terrence McGee is questionable for Buffalo's game against Tampa Bay after missing practice because of back spasms. The Bills top cornerback developed the spasms on Friday morning after practicing all this week. If McGee can't play on Sunday, Ashton Youboty would likely take his place. McGee also signed a contract extension on Friday. The deal is for four years, according to a person familar with the contract who spoke on the condidition of anonymity Friday because the team has not announced the terms.
Analysis: McGee is a decent No. 2 or 3 Fantasy DB when he's healthy, but his back could put a wrench into plans for him against the Bucs. Too bad, too, because he'd have a shot to get some takeaways against QB Byron Leftwich. We'll know the verdict on McGee come Sunday.
News: Injuries could force Bills starting cornerbacks Terrence McGee and Leodis McKelvin to miss the remainder of the team's spring minicamp practices. Though both have begun taking part in individual drills, coach Dick Jauron said Friday he's not sure whether either will be cleared for full practice for the Bills' final four sessions next week. "I would say maybe," Jauron said, noting he won't rush the two back to practice. McGee has been out since hurting his right shoulder on May 27. McKelvin also has been out since May 27 because of an infection to his middle right finger.
Analysis: Expect McGee to sit out for a while. He should be fine for training camp and is useful as a No. 3 Fantasy DB when healthy.
News: The Buffalo News reports Bills CB Terrence McGee watched Thursday's workout from the sidelines and said the shoulder injury he suffered a day before was not serious. "It's just a bruise, I'm all right," McGee said. McGee hurt the shoulder making a play on a pass down the sideline for Terrell Owens. McGee broke up the play, but then Owens fell on top of him as the two tumbled to the ground.
Analysis: Expect McGee to sit out for a while, maybe the next couple weeks of spring practice, rather than rush back. He should be fine for training camp and is useful as a No. 3 Fantasy DB when healthy.
News: Bills starting cornerback Terrence McGee hurt his right arm when he tumbled to the turf while defending receiver Terrell Owens during a voluntary minicamp practice on Wednesday. Bills coach Dick Jauron did not have an update on the player's injury following practice. During team drills, McGee was shadowing Owens up the sideline when the two went up for a pass. Owens initially caught the ball but had it ripped out by McGee. The two then fell to the ground with Owens partially landing on the cornerback. McGee lay on the turf for a few minutes before getting up on his own while favoring his shoulder. "It was just a competitive play," Owens said. "He did what he was trying to do to break it up, and I was trying to make a play on it."
Analysis: McGee is considered a solid corner with playmaking abilities. He's useful as a No. 3 Fantasy DB when healthy, though he shouldn't be counted on to make a glut of tackles. We'll keep you posted on his health.
News: Bills LB Paul Posluszny (11 tackles), DB Bryan Scott (10 tackles), LB Keith Ellison (nine tackles) and DB Terrence McGee (eight tackles) all helped out with nice tackles totals in a Week 14 loss to Miami in Toronto.
Analysis: Posluszny and McGee are both solid low-end starting options in IDP Fantasy leagues, while Ellison and Scott have zero Fantasy value. Only start the first two in Week 15 at the Jets.
News: Bills starting cornerback Jabari Greer won't play because of injury when Buffalo hosts the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. Greer's right knee was injured against Cleveland two weeks ago and he'll miss his second straight game. Starting strong safety Donte Whitner, who's nursing a separated shoulder, is doubtful. Whitner has missed two of the last three games since hurting the shoulder against the New York Jets in Week 9. Terrence McGee and Leodis McKelvin are expected to start against the Niners.
Analysis: McGee and McKelvin make for interesting Fantasy options -- they were not only effective last week against the Chiefs, but they'll be asked to make big plays again vs. the Niners' aggressive passing offense. Consider both No. 3 DB options for Week 13 Fantasy play. Greer and Whitner should remain benched or on the waiver wire.
News: Bills starting safety Donte Whitner and starting cornerback Jabari Greer won't play because of injuries when Buffalo travels to Kansas City to play the Chiefs in Week 12. Whitner, who missed the second half of Buffalo's Monday night loss to Cleveland, is nursing a right shoulder separated against the Jets on Nov. 2. Greer, meanwhile, hurt his right knee in the Browns game. Buffalo's secondary might be even further depleted if Whitner's replacement, Bryan Scott, can't play. Scott is questionable because of a left knee injury sustained against the Browns. Rookie Leodis McKelvin will likely start in place of Greer, while George Wilson would start at strong safety if Scott is unable to go.
Analysis: Unless you're considering Terrence McGee, the only healthy starting defensive back in Buffalo, steer clear of all Bills DBs in Week 12. Only Whitner is worth holding on to in deeper formats.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee had six tackles Sunday at New England.
Analysis: McGee continues to work his way back from a knee injury but remains a No. 3 DB in IDP leagues and should be started in Week 11 against Cleveland.
News: Buffalo LB Paul Posluszny led the Bills with nine tackles against the Jets in Week 9. Cornerback Terrence McGee finished second in the game with seven tackles and FS Ko Simpson had five.
Analysis: Posluszny now has 57 tackles on the season in eight games for the Bills. Posluszny is a No. 2 Fantasy LB in IDP play and should be starting in Week 10 at New England. McGee now has 26 tackles and two picks on the year. He's just a low-end Fantasy IDP player. As a safety, Simpson gets tackles more than anything else, but he doesn't get enough of those to matter in Fantasy IDP leagues.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee, who was questionable with a knee injury coming into Buffalo's Week 8 loss to Miami, made five tackles in the contest.
Analysis: McGee didn't look healthy on Sunday as Ted Ginn Jr. burned him and the Bills secondary for 175 yards. You might want to bench him until he starts to look 100 percent again.
News: Bills nickelback Ashton Youboty (foot) and cornerback Terrence McGee (left knee sprain) are questionable for Week 8 at Miami. McGee has missed the past two games.
Analysis: At this point, neither DB is worth using in Fantasy play, though McGee, when healthy, is a good low-end option when he gets into his routine.
News: Bills cornerback Terrence McGee returned to practice Wednesday after missing the past two games with a sprained left knee. McGee said he wanted to see if he can practice Thursday before determining whether he'll be play Sunday against the Dolphins.
Analysis: McGee has two interceptions in four games to go along with five pass deflections. He is one of the premier defensive backs in the NFL and a solid Fantasy DB when healthy. If he plays Week 8, make sure to activate him in Fantasy.
News: Bills starting CB Terrence McGee will not play in Sunday's AFC game against the San Diego Chargers. McGee will miss his second consecutive game because of a left knee sprained in Buffalo's win at St. Louis last month. Rookie Leodis McKelvin will start in McGee's place.
Analysis: When healthy, McGee is a No. 3 DB in IDP leagues. Keep him out against the Chargers in Week 7.
News: Starting cornerback Terrence McGee practiced for the first time since spraining his left knee against St. Louis. He's considered probable for Week 7 vs. San Diego.
Analysis: McGee is able to produce some decent stats and will get the chance to against a pass-oriented Chargers offense on Sunday. Figure him for a No. 3 DB in Week 7.
News: Bills starting cornerback Terrence McGee and starting defensive end Aaron Schobel both missed Monday's practice with injuries. McGee sprained his left knee early against St. Louis in Week 4 and missed the Cardinals game in Week 5, while Schobel is nursing a nagging left foot injury. Both are considered questionable for their Week 7 matchup against San Diego.
Analysis: McGee and Schobel are useful Fantasy options when healthy, so if you own them, check their status throughout the week. Both would be plenty busy against the Chargers in Week 7.
News: As expected, Bills DB Terrence McGee is inactive for Week 5 at Arizona. He missed practice all week and was listed as doubtful for the game.
Analysis: McGee is a decent Fantasy DB when healthy and already has two interceptions, putting him halfway to his career high. Still, you obviously want to keep him reserved for Week 5.
News: Bills starting CB Terrence McGee won't play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals because of a sprained left knee. McGee, originally listed as doubtful on Friday, didn't make the trip to Arizona on Saturday. He was hurt in the first quarter of the Bills' win over St. Louis last Sunday, and missed all three practices this week.
Analysis: McGee has been working hard trying to rehab from a sprained knee suffered Week 4 against the Rams, but it just doesn't appear he made enough progress. McGee is a decent Fantasy DB when healthy, but keep him reserved Week 5. The Bills DST will obviously take a bit of hit after this. Consider them a decent No. 2 Fantasy unit for Week 5 against the Cardinals.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (knee) is listed as doubtful for Week 5 at Arizona and is not expected to play Sunday, according to NFL.com. "Terrence did not practice again (Friday) and we're going to list him as doubtful," head coach Dick Jauron said. Expected to start in McGee's place is Ashton Youboty. "We'll see who starts at game time, but both Leodis (McKelvin) and obviously Ashton would be the first guy," said Jauron. "He's our nickel and he's played the most football for us at this point."
Analysis: McGee has been working hard trying to rehab from a sprained knee suffered Week 4 against the Rams, but it just doesn't appear he made enough progress. McGee is a decent Fantasy DB when healthy, but prepare to keep him reserved Week 5.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (knee) missed practice for a second straight day Thursday as the team prepares for Week 5 at Arizona. Head coach Dick Jauron said he is not yet ready to rule out McGee for Sunday's game. "We'll keep moving forward and see where that one takes us," Jauron told NFL.com. "Terrence has been playing at such a high level. We'd love to have him obviously and we need to have him, if not this week then as soon as possible. We'll have to see."
Analysis: McGee had a MRI on his knee Monday and it appears as though it has come back negative. He says he is feeling a lot better, but if he still can't practice Friday, it could be a stretch for him to play Sunday. When healthy, McGee is a solid No. 2 Fantasy DB.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee, who wore a brace on his left knee and walked with a noticeable limp, was one of three defensive starters to miss practice Wednesday as the team prepared to play at Arizona. Coach Dick Jauron wouldn't rule McGee out, saying he will continue to have his sprained knee tested through the end of the week. McGee said the knee was still sore, but had improved since Monday, when he had difficulty walking. Also missing practice were DT Marcus Stroud (left shoulder) and DE Aaron Schobel (foot). They were hurt in last weekend's 31-14 win at St. Louis, but both finished the game. Jauron anticipated Stroud and Schobel returning to practice Thursday. McGee's injury is considered the most serious after the starting cornerback was hurt early in the first quarter against the Rams, when his leg was caught in the pile while making a tackle.
Analysis: If McGee can't play, the Bills would have nickelback Ashton Youboty and rookie first-round draft pick Leodis McKelvin split time opposite starter Jabari Greer against the Cardinals. Arizona (2-2) is coming off a 56-35 loss at the New York Jets. Kurt Warner had an NFL-season high 472 yards passing with two touchdowns and three interceptions. By not playing, McGee would get additional time to recuperate as the Bills are off next week until hosting San Diego on Oct. 19. If McGee is healthy and ready to go, consider him a low-end No. 2 DB for Week 5. The Bills DST is also a good start, but keep an eye on Stroud and Schobel also. Stroud and Schobel also expect to play.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee sprained a knee in Week 4 at St. Louis and had to leave the game.
Analysis: McGee will likely be on the injury report leading up to Week 5 at Arizona, but he's a solid start in IDP leagues when healthy. He got off to a good start this season with interceptions in the first two games. Monitor his progress.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (back) has been listed as probable for Week 3 vs. Oakland. McGee went through a full practice Friday after limited reps Thursday.
Analysis: McGee has had an interception in each of the first two games, as well as 13 tackles and four pass defenses. He has filled the role of the Bills' top corner since Nate Clements left before last season for San Francisco. McGee remains a solid No. 2 Fantasy DB and is working his way up to No. 1 status.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee had eight tackles and an interception in Week 2 at Jacksonville.
Analysis: That's two straight weeks for McGee with an interception. He is a solid DB in IDP leagues and could be climbing from a No. 2 option to a No. 1 here soon.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee made four tackles and an interception in Buffalo's Week 1 win over the Seahawks.
Analysis: McGee is a solid DB in IDP leagues, but is more of a No. 2 than a No. 1. He made only four picks last season.
News: Buffalo DB Terrence McGee made quite an impact on Sunday's preseason game against the Colts. McGee picked up a fumble from Joseph Addai with 1:43 remaining in the first half and returned it 68 yards for a touchdown to put the Bills up 17-0.
Analysis: McGee is a solid DB in IDP leagues and should only improve in 2007. Consider McGee a No. 2 DB in IDP leagues heading into 2008.
News: Buffalo DB Terrence McGee played his first season in 2007 as the No. 1 cornerback for the Bills. He appeared in 15 games and led Buffalo with four interceptions. He also had 78 tackles (68 solo), which was fourth on the team.
Analysis: McGee is a solid DB in IDP leagues and should only improve in 2007. Consider McGee a No. 2 DB in IDP leagues heading into 2008.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee had six tackles Sunday at Cleveland.
Analysis: McGee is a No. 2 DB in IDP leagues and should be used in Week 16 against the Giants.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee picked off Cleo Lemon in the second quarter of Buffalo's 38-17 victory over the Dolphins in Week 14. It was his third pick of the season. He also made three tackles.
Analysis: McGee has some value as a low-end backup DB in IDP leagues and might be worth starting in Week 15 against a turnover-prone Browns team.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (nine tackles), DB Donte Whitner (four tackles), DL Ryan Denney (four tackles) and DB Ashton Youboty (sack) led the way defensively in Buffalo's 36-14 loss to the Jaguars in Week 12.
Analysis: McGee and Whitner have some Fantasy value as low-end reserves in IDP leagues, but are part of a poor unit in Buffalo and should certainly not be starting in Week 13 against the Redskins.
News: DB Terrence McGee (seven tackles, two passes defended), LB John DiGiorgio (seven tackles), LB Angelo Crowell (six tackles), DB George Wilson (six tackles), DL Ryan Denney (five tackles) and DB Donte Whitner (four tackles) all chipped in as Buffalo defeated the Dolphins 13-10 in Week 10.
Analysis: McGee and Crowell are nice backup Fantasy DBs in IDP formats, while DiGiorgio and Whitner have minimal Fantasy value in deeper lesgues as No. 3 or No. 4 options at their positions. None of these players should be starting in Week 11 against the superb Patriots offense.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee had four passes defended and two tackles in Buffalo's 33-21 victory over the Bengals in Week 9.
Analysis: Consider McGee, who has anywhere from two to eight tackles in games this season, a low-end backup DB in IDP leagues, and worth a bye-week replacement start in Week 10 against the Dolphins.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee had an interception, his second of the season, Week 8 at the N.Y. Jets, laying out for a Kellen Clemens pass late in the fourth quarter. He also had five tackles -- four solo -- and gained 51 yards on two kick returns.
Analysis: McGee is doing an admirable job as the Bills' top cornerback now that Nate Clements is with the 49ers. He remains worth using as a low-end Fantasy DB and definitely worth using if your league rewards kick return yards.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee totaled eight tackles, but failed to pick off a pass during a Week 7 win over the Ravens. McGee now has 27 tackles, one interception and one touchdown in five games.
Analysis: McGee is doing an admirable job as the Bills' top cornerback now that Nate Clements is with the 49ers. He remains worth using as a low-end Fantasy DB, and definitely someone worth starting if your league rewards for kick return yards.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee returned a kick 103 yards for a third-quarter touchdown in Week 5 against the Cowboys. He finished with 144 total return yards and recorded five tackles on defense.
Analysis: McGee is one of the best return men in the game, and that unique talent makes him a viable starter in most Fantasy IDP leagues. The Bills have a bye in Week 6 before hosting the Ravens in Week 7.
News: The Bills, playing without several of their regular starters, held the Jets to 14 points and 148 yards in Week 4 vs. the N.Y. Jets. DB Jabari Greer and Terrence McGee each had an interception. DE Chris Kelsay had the team's only sack.
Analysis: The Bills defensive unit has been one to stay away from all season due to injuries and overall shoddy play. They went up against a struggling offense in Week 4 and we don't recommend using the Bills in Week 5 when they face a very good Dallas offense.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (ribs) was active for Week 14 vs. the N.Y. Jets.
Analysis: McGee has just nine tackles and no interceptions through two games played. He has not really been the player the Bills had hoped he would in place of the departed Nate Clements. He is nothing more than a low-end Fantasy DB heading into Week 4.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (ribs) is listed as probable for Week 4 vs. N.Y. Jets. He went through full practices all week. McGee missed last week's 38-7 loss at New England because of sore ribs, and his return is the first positive news for a banged-up defense that's lost numerous players to injury, including three starters on season-ending injured reserve.
Analysis: McGee has just nine tackles and no interceptions through two games. He has not really been the player the Bills had hoped he would in place of the departed Nate Clements. McGee is nothing more than a low-end Fantasy DB heading into Week 4.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee worked out fully for a second straight practice Thursday and is expected to play Sunday, when Buffalo hosts the New York Jets. McGee missed last week's 38-7 loss at New England because of sore ribs, and his return is the first positive news for a banged-up defense that's lost numerous players to injury, including three starters on season-ending injured reserve.
Analysis: McGee should be considered a low-end DB in IDP leagues in Week 4 against the Jets.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (ribs) went through a full practice session Wednesday as the team prepares for Week 4 vs N.Y. Jets. McGee did not play Week 3 against the Patriots because of the injury.
Analysis: McGee has just nine tackles and no interceptions through two games. He has not really been the player the Bills had hoped he would in place of the departed Nate Clements. McGee is nothing more than a low-end Fantasy DB heading into Week 4.
News: The Bills listed WR Sam Aiken (groin), DB Terrence McGee (ribs), DB Coy Wire (knee), LB Keith Ellison (ankle), DL Ryan Denney (foot) and DL Copeland Bryan (coach's decision) as inactive for Week 3 at New England.
Analysis: Aside from McGee, who has value in IDP formats, none of these players should be on your Fantasy roster at this time. Sit McGee in all leagues until further notice.
News: Bills cornerback Terrence McGee is questionable for Sunday's game at New England because of a rib injury. McGee had limited practice Friday after missing practice the past two days. He was injured in the fourth quarter of Buffalo's loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday. If McGee can't play, he'll likely be replaced by Jabari Greer, who'll get the start against a potent Patriots offense that boasts Tom Brady, the league's top-ranked quarterback, and receiver Randy Moss.
Analysis: McGee is a nice low-end No. 2 Fantasy CB/No. 3 Fantasy DB when healthy. Considering the matchup and his current status, he's not a recommended Fantasy play for Week 3 at New England. Greer is also not worth picking up.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee (ribs) did not practice Wednesday or Thursday as the team prepares for Week 3 at New England.
Analysis: McGee has played the first two weeks and has recorded nine tackles on the season. He is now the Bills' top corner with Nate Clements on the West Coast. Treat him as a low-end Fantasy DB when healthy. Continue to track his progress.
News:The Sports Xchange reports CB/KR Terrence McGee, who sat out the final preseason game at Detroit with a concussion, practiced fully on Wednesday and will be fine to start Sunday's game against Denver.
Analysis: The Bills will get a first glimpse Sunday if McGee is ready to replace DB Nate Clements. Don't expect McGee to post similar numbers to Clements (who left via free agency), but he still might be worth a low-end Fantasy flier in IDP leagues.
News: The Bills' young defense struggled during Friday's preseason game against the Titans, allowing 218 yards in the first half and 293 overall. Buffalo also lost starting cornerback Terrence McGee, who had a concussion in the first quarter. Coach Dick Jauron said McGee will miss Buffalo's preseason finale at Detroit on Thursday.
Analysis: McGee made steady progress in his first three years with the team, but stumbled in 2006, especially during a three-game stretch against Chicago, Detroit and New England when he allowed several big plays. He finished his disappointing season without an interception after getting a combined nine interceptions his previous three years. The 2003 fourth-round pick is looking forward to lining up against the opposition's top receiver every week, including going head-to-head twice with New England wideout Randy Moss, obtained by the Patriots in a trade with Oakland. Don't expect McGee to post similar numbers to Nate Clements (who left via free agency), but he still might be worth a low-end Fantasy flier in IDP leagues. He should be ready for the start of the season. Continue to follow the new.
News: When it comes to replacing Nate Clements, Terrence McGee will do his best to match his on-field confidence. "That's about the only thing I really learned from Nate," said McGee, who became the team's top cornerback when Clements signed with San Francisco as a free agent in March. "You really have to go out there and play with that confidence and that swagger, that you're the best and nobody's going to beat you out there." McGee's off-field demeanor couldn't be more different from Clements. He's soft-spoken. Clements is more cocky, labeling himself the "playmaker" during six years in Buffalo. Still, the Bills are hoping McGee can become what Clements was for them on the field -- a top cornerback. "He has things to prove, not only to himself but to us," Bills defensive coordinator Perry Fewell said. "He's the veteran of the group, and the guy with experience."
Analysis: McGee made steady progress in his first three years with the team, but stumbled in 2006, especially during a three-game stretch against Chicago, Detroit and New England when he allowed several big plays. News: The Bills DST shutout the Dolphins 21-0 with one sack and two interceptions. LB London Fletcher-Baker had 10 tackles. LB Keith Ellison had eight tackles and an interception. LB Takeo Spikes had six tackles. DB Nate Clements had an interception. DL Aaron Schobel had three tackles and a sack. DB Terrence McGee had six tackles. DB Donte Whitner had seven tackles. DL Chris Kelsay had three tackles.
Analysis: Consider the Bills DST a low-end No. 1 option for Week 16 against Tennessee and use all regular IDP players as needed.
News: Bills LB Takeo Spikes (ankle, knee), SS Donte Whitner (hamstring), CB Terrence McGee (ankle) and LB John DiGiorgio (high ankle sprain) are listed as questionable for Week 15 vs. Miami. Spikes and DiGiorgio did not practice on Wednesday, but Whitner and McGee practiced "some" said coach Dick Jauron, reports BuffaloBills.com
Analysis: Spikes is a good No. 3 Fantasy LB when healthy, McGee is a good No. 3 CB when healthy and Whitner is a fringe options in all IDP leagues (and should be salvaged on keeper league rosters). DiGiorgio shouldn't be on Fantasy rosters.
News: Terrence McGee (ankle) was inactive for Week 14 at N.Y. Jets.
Analysis: McGee might be worth using as a No. 2 or 3 cornerback for Week 15 against Miami if healthy.
News: Bills cornerback Terrence McGee returned to practice Friday after missing the previous two days with an ankle injury. Coach Dick Jauron said he will be a gametime decision for Week 14 at the Jets. McGee is questionable for the game.
Analysis: McGee is a decent No. 2 or 3 Fantasy CB when healthy, so keep tabs on his status throughout the weekend. We'll hear whether or not he plays on Sunday about an hour before the game.
News: Starting DB Terrence McGee missed practice for the second consecutive day Thursday after he hurt his left ankle in a 24-21 loss to San Diego last weekend. McGee did work out on the sideline and is listed as questionable.
Analysis: McGee is a decent No. 2 or 3 Fantasy CB when healthy, so keep tabs on his status throughout the week.
News: Bills LB John DiGiorgio (ankle) and CB Terrence McGee (ankle) are listed as questionable for Week 14 at the Jets.
Analysis: McGee is a decent No. 2 or 3 Fantasy CB when healthy, so keep tabs on his status throughout the week. DiGiorgio should not be owned in Fantasy play.
News: Bills starting cornerback Terrence McGee's status is uncertain for Buffalo's game at the New York Jets on Sunday. McGee twisted his left ankle while returning a kickoff against the Chargers.
Analysis: When healthy, McGee is good enough to be used as a No. 2 Fantasy CB or a superior No. 3 Fantasy DB.
News: Buffalo LB Angelo Crowell injured his lower left leg after San Diego's LaDainian Tomlinson's 4-yard run on the Chargers' first possession. Crowell hopped off the field unable to put any weight on his left foot, and coach Dick Jauron said Crowell will have further tests before determining the extent of the injury. DB Terrence McGee also hurt his ankle when he was tackled by Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding during a 37-yard kickoff return in the first quarter. McGee saw limited playing time the rest of the first half and didn't play in the second.
Analysis: Keep an eye on the status of these players before using them in Week 14 against the Jets.
News: Bills CB/KR Terrence McGee has struggled in coverage this year, and Sunday he allowed his fourth TD catch of the season when beaten on a difficult fade route by Reggie Wayne. But McGee did his best to single-handedly lead the Bills back, returning a fumble 68 yards for a touchdown and then returning a kickoff 88 yards to set up a field goal. McGee's fumble TD, the second-longest in team history, gave McGee six career return touchdowns (four kickoffs, one interception, one fumble), tying him with teammate Nate Clements (four interceptions, two punts) for most in team history. "It feels good to know I can still make something happen, but at the same time, it's a loss," McGee said. "You can't feel too good."
Analysis: McGee makes for a low-end Fantasy DB seeing how he doesn't get many picks, but racks up a decent amount of tackles. He already has 54 this season, but is still in search of his first interception. McGee is definitely a great Fantasy option for league's that reward heavily for return yards.
News: The Bills DST held the Colts to 17 points. LB Angelo Crowell had 13 tackles and forced a fumble. LB London Fletcher-Baker had 14 tackles. DL Aaron Schobel had two tackles and forced a fumble. DB Terrence McGee had six tackles and recovered a fumble. He also had four kickoff returns for an average of 36.8 yards and a long of 88. DL Chris Kelsay had three tackles. LB Takeo Spikes had nine tackles. DB Nate Clements had five tackles. DB Donte Whitner had four tackles.
Analysis: Consider the Bills DST a good sleeper for Week 11 against Houston and use all regular IDP players.
News: Bills defenders who did well in Week 10 include: LB London Fletcher-Baker (14 total tackles, interception-return for a touchdown), CB Nate Clements (nine total tackles), CB Terence McGee (six tackles), LB Takeo Spikes (nine total tackles), DE Aaron Schobel (four tackles, two sacks, fumble recovery) and SS Ko Simpson (six tackles, interception).
Analysis: Fletcher-Baker and Clements are must-start Fantasy defenders. Spikes, McGee and Schobel should start in most leagues, too. Expect these guys to be very busy when they play at Indy in Week 10.
News: Bills DB Terrence McGee was asked two weeks ago if he felt his level of performance had dropped this season. "I've dropped down a couple levels," he answered. "I'm not playing with the consistency I would like to play." McGee won't get an argument from the Buffalo Bills' coaching staff as defensive coordinator Perry Fewell benched the fourth-year veteran in the third quarter of Sunday's 28-6 loss to the New England Patriots. McGee was replaced by Jabari Greer, though McGee returned when Greer got hurt. Head coach Dick Jauron said McGee was taken out because he "needed a break." But McGee admitted that he was benched. "Yeah, it hurts when you've got to be pulled off the field," he said. "At the same time, I understood why he did it. It wasn't like I feel like I did something good and I should still be out there."
Analysis: If Greer is out for any amount of time, this will help McGee. Otherwise, McGee might be seeing more bench than field in the near future. Keep him reserved in all IDP leagues for now.
News: A lot of Bills want to forget about last week's 33-point loss to the Bears, but at least one, CB/KR Terrence McGee, plans on thinking about it all the time. "Personally, I want to use this as a motivator so it never happens again," said McGee, who was called for pass interference, was beaten for a 62-yard pass, an eight-yard touchdown and fumbled a kickoff to set up the Bears' final score.
Analysis: Ouch, talk about a rough week. McGee is a pretty decent cornerback and one of the better kick returners in the game. If your league rewards for kick return yards, make sure to have McGee active more times than not. IDP owners should look at McGee as either a No. 2 or No.3 Fantasy DB. He won't get you a lot of interceptions, but he does get a decent amount of tackles.
News: Bills CB Terrence McGee made a name for himself on defense this season, making 59 tackles, four interceptions, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble, 11 pass deflections and a defensive TD. He also returned a kickoff for a touchdown and averaged 30.2 yards per kickoff.
Analysis: McGee should continue to be a huge part of the Buffalo defense and special teams. If you get points for both facets of the game, then definitely make him a priority in 2006 Fantasy drafts. He should be a No. 2 Fantasy CB next season.
News: Terrence McGee recorded four tackles (three solo), scored on a 99-yard kickoff return and a 46-yard interception return in Sunday's 37-27 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Analysis: McGee remains a decent choice in IDP leagues with 12-plus teams for Week 17 at the N.Y. Jets
News: The Bills could start backup Jabari Greer at left cornerback for Terrence McGee (hamstring) at Miami in Week 13. McGee is listed as questionable.
Analysis: This spells bad news for the Buffalo secondary, which is limited depthwise at defensive back. Steer clear of McGee for now.
News: BuffaloBills.com reports that for the first time in his career, cornerback Terrence McGee is entering training camp as the starter. "I know I need to come in and be a more consistent corner," he said. "Already having one year under my belt, more people are counting on me more to make plays and be more of a consistent corner."
Analysis: McGee is a nice sleeper in IDP leagues, especially if you get points for special teams statistics.
News: According to the Buffalo News, Bills cornerback-return man Terrence McGee is one of only 10 players to return three kickoffs for touchdowns in one season. Atlanta's Derrick Vaughn was the last to do the feat in 2000.
Analysis: McGee returned a kickoff a team-record 104 yards for a touchdown in Week 13 against the Dolphins.
News: Terrence McGee was forced into action in Week 4 against New England when Troy Vincent went down with a knee injury. McGee recorded six tackles and also had a big special teams play with 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
Analysis: McGee will start in Week 5 against the New York Jets if Vincent can't go. McGee's kickoff return was the sixth longest in Bills history.
News: According to the Buffalo News, cornerback Terrence McGee impressed the Bills' coaching staff in Saturday's preseason game against Tennessee with three kickoff returns for 136 yards. "When (McGee) had his chances on the returns, he really hit the holes that were tight," coach Mike Mularkey said. "That's what you're looking for, especially on kickoff returns, a guy who's not afraid to hit the hole. You don't want anybody back there looking for it. If it's there, go."
Analysis: McGee is battling Antonio Brown, Josh Reed, Joe Burns and Freddie Smith for the return duties in Buffalo.
