News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham (Achilles') will miss the remainder of the season after the team placed him on injured reserve Tuesday, according to NFL.com. Graham had an MRI on his right leg Tuesday morning as reports swirled about a possible season-ending tear to his Achilles' tendon. Graham suffered the setback during Week 7 against Chicago as he was starting in place of injured RB LeGarrette Blount.
Analysis: Earlier Tuesday, team officials continued to insist that Graham was not done for the season. However, that is no longer the case and the Buccaneers are now down two running backs entering their bye week. Graham played in all seven games this season, starting the last two. He had 37 rushes for 206 yards and also added 26 receptions for 163 yards. Fantasy owners should drop him in all formats.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham had an MRI on his right leg Tuesday morning as reports swirled about a possible season-ending tear to his Achilles' tendon. Team officials, however, maintained its stance from Monday and not confirm if the injury would end Graham's season. Graham, who was starting in place of injured RB LeGarrette Blount, sustained the injury during the team's Week 7 game against Chicago in London.
Analysis: If Blount and Graham are unable to play against New Orleans in Week 9, the Buccaneers may be forced to add another running back. The team's last healthy running back, Kregg Lumpkin, has not run well in limited action (12 carries, 35 yards). Fantasy owners should continue to monitor Graham's status and prepare to cut ties with him if he does indeed miss the remainder of the season as expected.
News: According to several reports, Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham has a torn Achilles' and is expected to be placed on season-ending injured reserve. Graham, who was starting in place of injured RB LeGarrette Blount, sustained the injury during the team's Week 7 game against Chicago in London. He appeared to suffer the injury during the first quarter after he fell to the ground -- untouched -- following a reception.
Analysis: Graham was a hot pickup in the majority of Fantasy formats after Blount went down with a sprained MCL and was forced to miss playing time. Blount, who led the team in rushing as a rookie in 2010 with 1,007 yards, said he was likely to practice next week. Graham did a decent job in his absence and ran for 109 yards on 17 carries against New Orleans in Week 6. However, his season appears to be over and the Buccaneers will likely add another running back as Kregg Lumpkin is currently the team's only healthy ball-carrier. Fantasy owners should monitor Graham's status until it's official from the team.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham, who got the start in place of injured RB LeGarrette Blount in London, was hurt on a first-quarter play and had to leave the game. He went down to the ground, untouched, after catching a pass. Graham was taken to the locker room after getting some medical attention on the field. The team revealed that he suffered an ankle injury. After the game, Pro Football Talk reported that Graham suffered a torn Achilles' tendon, citing a league source.
Analysis: On first glance, the injury appeared to be significant and could possibly keep him out a while. If it is indeed a torn Achilles' tendon, his season would be over. Graham had two rushes for 13 yards along with the catch that went for a loss of 2 yards prior to getting hurt. Many Fantasy owners activated him in Week 7 after his strong performance in the absence of Blount in Week 6, but were left with little to show for it. Graham's Fantasy appeal was likely to be short lived with Blount expected back anyway, but this news might make him a player to cut in Fantasy straight away. We'll have more information on his status as more information becomes known. In Blount's absence, Kregg Lumpkin was the only healthy half back left on the roster.
News: Buccaneers RB LeGarrette Blount did not practice again on Friday and has been considered doubtful by head coach Raheem Morris in anticipation of Sunday's game against the Bears. Earnest Graham would once again start in his absence. Graham replaced him in Week 6 against New Orleans, rushing for 109 yards on 17 carries.
Analysis: Graham is the team's likely starting option, with Blount dealing with a sprained MCL that could sideline him until Week 9. The matchup, on paper, does appear to be favorable from a yardage standpoint. However, the Bears have been able to keep opposing RBs out of the end zone. They did not allow a rushing touchdown to a running back through the first four weeks of the season. They have, however, allowed one in each of the last two weeks. Consider Graham a viable No. 2 RB option, barring any changes, for this matchup in London.
News: Buccaneers RB LeGarrette Blount did not practice again on Thursday in London in anticipation of Sunday's game against the Bears. The Chicago Tribune reports that Blount is unlikely to play Sunday. Earnest Graham would once again start in his absence. Graham replaced him in Week 6 against New Orleans, rushing for 109 yards on 17 carries.
Analysis: Graham is the team's likely starting option, with Blount dealing with a sprained MCL that could sideline him for a while longer. They did not allow a rushing touchdown to a running back through the first four weeks of the season. They have, however, allowed one in each of the last two weeks. News: Buccaneers RB LeGarrette Blount (knee) did not participate in Wednesday's practice. He was deactivated for Week 6 against New Orleans after getting hurt in Week 5. Earnest Graham replaced him in that game, rushing for 109 yards on 17 carries. In Week 7, the Bucs will face a Bears defense that ranks 22nd in the NFL against the run, allowing an average of 121.8 rushing yards per game. They have allowed just four rushing touchdowns in six games, however.

News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham turned in his most productive performance of the season in Week 6 against the Saints. Graham, who was starting in place of the injured LeGarrette Blount, rushed for a season-high 109 yards on 17 carries in the 26-20 win. He averaged an impressive 6.4 yards per carry and had a long of 34 yards in the contest. Graham also caught two passes for 22 yards, finishing with a combined 131 yards on 19 total touches. He did not score on the afternoon, but averaged 6.9 yards every time he touched the ball. "Insurance Graham," coach Raheem Morris said. "You can never say enough about him."
Analysis: Graham ran very well on Sunday and did a great job filling in for Blount. While owners would have liked to see him get in the end zone in the victory, it is hard to make a stink about putting up 131 total yards. The Buccaneers will now jump on a plane Monday morning and head out to London to face the Bears in Week 7. There are many who feel that Blount will not be able to make the trip, which mean that Graham would get his second straight start. Fantasy owners should obviously continue and monitor Tampa's RB situation moving forward. If Graham does get himself another start, he can be considered a No. 2 Fantasy RB heading into his next matchup.
News: With LeGarrette Blount's status in doubt for Week 6 against the Saints, all signs point to Earnest Graham making his first start of the season. Graham, who is the the second oldest player on the team, hasn't been the featured back since 2008 but says he is up to the challenge. "I prepare the same way all the time and it's no different this week," Graham told the Tampa Tribune. This game coming up is a very big deal. It's a division opponent and we want to rebound, coming off last week.''
Analysis: While Blount hasn't been officially ruled out of Sunday's contest, that fact that he has been unable to practice all week makes it seem likely that he will be held out. That means Graham will be called upon to carry the load against New Orleans. The Saints are allowing 15.6 Fantasy points per game to RBs, but have given up just three rushing scores to RBs. However, Graham should see a healthy amount of touches on Sunday and therefore can be considered a stopgap Fantasy option for Week 6.
News: Bucs RB LeGarrette Blount was held out of practice Wednesday because of a knee injury suffered in Week 5 and it appears unlikely he will play Week 6 against the Saints, reports the St. Petersburg Times. Earnest Graham will likely start in Blount's absence, with Kregg Lumpkin also being involved in the rushing attack. "You guys know Earnest has done everything for us,'' quarterback Josh Freeman said. "Whether it's playing fullback, being the third down back and now this week he's going to get the majority of the reps, the majority of the carries. I mean, he's done it before...he's a guy we know can get it done.''
Analysis: The Bucs said earlier in the week that they weren't going to make a decision on Blount's status until later in the practice week, but it seems Freeman already spilled the beans about Tampa Bay using Graham has the top back in Week 6. It is still worth keeping tabs on this situation in case Blount bounces back quicker than expected, but Fantasy owners should consider Graham a stopgap Fantasy option for Week 6. The Saints are allowing 15.6 Fantasy points per game to RBs, but have given up just three rushing scores to RBs.
News: The St. Petersburg Times reports that Buccaneers RB LeGarrette Blount (knee) will have his status determined this week in practice. Blount left Week 5 against the 49ers after taking a shot to his left knee in the third quarter and did not return. "I dont want to rule him out, but I'm not looking at him to do whatever,'' coach Raheem Morris said. "Itll be what it is. It'll be next man up, or hell be ready to go practice and play for us.'' Morris said Earnest Graham, Kregg Lumpkin and Allen Bradford are options at tailback if Blount is unable to play.
Analysis: Morris said if If Blount practices on Wednesday he'll call him "day to day. If he doesn't, we'll wait and see.'' Fantasy owners will need to monitor his status closely this week throughout the team's practice sessions. Graham and Lumpkin would likely get a chance at a shared role in Week 6 against the Saints if Blount were to be ruled out. That makes Graham a player worth taking a flier on off the waiver wire as a possible stopgap measure -- especially if you own Blount. We'll continue to update you on this situation throughout the week.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham saw more carries than usual in Week 5 against the 49ers. He gained 30 yards on five carries in the 48-3 loss. He did not record a reception, however, after averaging nearly six grabs a game entering Sunday. Graham finished second on Tampa Bay in rushing behind LeGarrette Blount (34 yards) in the defeat.
Analysis: Graham saw some carries late in the game with Blount on the sidelines and could see more touches going forward if Blount sustained a serious injury so keep an eye on the situation going forward. He has been more valuable in PPR formats so far this season for his work out of the backfield but the Bucs could not get him the ball in the passing game on Sunday. He will remain a low-end option in Fantasy as long as Blount is healthy so consider Graham as more of a No. 4 Fantasy RB or flex option for Week 6 against the Saints.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham was active for Week 5 against the 49ers. He was limited in practice earlier in the week due to a hamstring injury. San Francisco enters Sunday ranked fourth in the NFL against the run, giving up just 74 yards per game, and have held opposing running backs to an average of seven Fantasy points, best in the league. When Graham faced the 49ers a year ago, he gained 7 yards on three carries.
Analysis: Graham has served as a backup to RB LeGarrette Blount, but has thrived mainly on passing plays this season. The 31-year-old has tallied more receiving yards than rushing yards in all four games this year and actually paces the team with 23 receptions out of the backfield. The 49ers have been solid at slowing down the run, but have struggled against pass-catching backs. Consider Graham a low-end No. 4 Fantasy RB or flex option only in PPR formats for Week 5.
News: After being limited in practice on Thursday due to a hamstring injury, Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham was a full participant on Friday and was listed as probable on Friday's injury report. Graham will be facing off against the 49ers in Week 5. San Francisco enters Sunday ranked fourth in the NFL against the run, giving up just 74 yards per game, and have held opposing running backs to an average of seven Fantasy points, best in the league. When Graham faced the 49ers a year ago, he gained 7 yards on three carries.

News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham was limited in practice Thursday as the team prepares for its Week 5 matchup at San Francisco. Graham, who was not listed on the practice report Wednesday, is expected to play Sunday, according to the St. Petersburg Times. Analysis: Graham has served as a backup to Tampa Bay RB LeGarrette Blount, but has thrived mainly on passing plays this season. The 31-year-old has tallied more receiving yards than rushing yards in all four games this year and actually paces the team with 23 receptions out of the backfield. The 49ers are permitting an average of 8.8 Fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this year, but struggled against pass-catching backs. Consider Graham a low-end No. 4 Fantasy RB or flex option only in PPR formats.
News:Earnest Graham was able to chip in for the Buccaneers in Week 4 against the Colts. He gained 24 yards on two carries and also had three catches for 27 yards in the 24-17 win. He was targeted six times in the victory and finished third on Tampa Bay in rushing behind LeGarrette Blount (127 yards) and Josh Freeman (27 yards).
Analysis: Graham remains the backup to Blount in Tampa Bay but has proven to be a viable option in the passing game out of the backfield. He has more yards receiving than he does rushing thus far, but has yet to find the end zone. That trend will likely continue as long as Blount is healthy so heading into Week 5 against the 49ers, continue to view him as no better than a No. 4 Fantasy RB in PPR leagues. Graham remains a viable handcuff option to Blount, though.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham will be looking to find the end zone for the first time this season in Week 4 against the Colts. Graham has done most of his damage in the passing game through the first three weeks, as he has 20 receptions for 116 yards. He also has 11 rushes for 30 yards on the year and will be facing a Colts defense that is ranked 22nd against the run. Indianapolis has surrendered an average of 18.7 Fantasy points to opposing RBs on the season.
Analysis: Graham hasn't done much in the running game thus far, but has definitely made his presence felt in the passing game. The seasoned veteran is actually tied with Mike Williams for the team lead in targets (22) and he has replaced LeGarrette Blount on most passing downs. While his production can be a bit inconsistent at times, Fantasy owners should consider Graham a No. 4 Fantasy RB in PPR leagues heading into Week 4.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham amassed 36 total yards in the Buccaneers' 16-13 victory over Atlanta in Week 3 on Sunday. Graham collected a team-high seven receptions for 37 yards as he continues to be a useful target out of the backfield for Tampa Bay QB Josh Freeman.
Analysis: Graham seems to be the Bucs' main back on passing plays as LeGarrette Blount struggles with protection and catching. Graham also garnered two carries, but netted a total of minus-one yard. Consider him a low-end option in PPR Fantasy formats for Week 4 against Indianapolis.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham registered just 39 total yards during the team's victory over Minnesota in Week 2 as the Buccaneers provided starting RB LeGarrette Blount with sufficient carries. However, 21 of those yards came in the passing game as Graham recorded more receiving yards than rushing for the second time this season. Graham's total of 79 receiving yards rank ninth for most in the NFL among running backs.
Analysis: Despite only earning six carries in the first two games of the season, Graham has certainly been a quality option in some Fantasy formats. The 31-year-old, who has not scored a touchdown this year, will look to continue that trend in Week 3 against Atlanta. In his past three games versus the Falcons, Graham has rushed for 297 yards and three touchdowns, although he received at least 15 attempts in each outing. While he won't top that total Sunday, he could be of use in PPR formats as a No. 4 Fantasy RB or flex option.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham was able to get into the mix Week 2 against the Vikings, and he contributed in the comeback win. He carried the ball three times for 18 yards and he was able to haul in five of Josh Freeman's passes for 21 yards.
Analysis: Graham has been a steady third-down back for the club, but he still has a ways to go before he becomes a reliable Fantasy option. The team has been behind for the first two weeks of the season, so there remains much to learn as to their plans for Graham and starter LeGarrette Blount within the offense. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on the production between the two, but the Florida product is not a recommended option heading into the Week 3 matchup with the Falcons.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham had a team-high six carries for 13 yards in Week 1 against the Lions. He also had a team-high eight catches for 58 yards in a 27-20 loss.
Analysis: Graham was the Bucs' primary back in the second half since they were behind and had to throw the ball. If it were a close game, then RB LeGarrette Blount might have touched the ball more than five times. Graham is the Bucs' primary back on third down and passing situations, but he still has very low-end Fantasy appeal. Until he starts posting respectable stat lines on a weekly basis, then look to other Fantasy options to start heading into Week 2. The Bucs play the Vikings in Week 2.
News: Bucs offensive coordinator Greg Olson said RB Earnest Graham will begin the season as the team's third-down back.
Analysis: It's a bit surprising that Graham got the third-down role seeing how starter LeGarrette Blount has made tremendous strides in his pass-blocking skills, which should enable him to stay on the field in third-down situations. But it seems he is not at that point yet where the Bucs can trust him in that role full-time. Even with Graham getting a little bit more PT his touches will remain limited and he is not worth owning in most Fantasy formats. He remains just a handcuff option for Blount owners.
News: The Tampa Tribune reports that Bucs FB Earnest Graham did not need surgery this offseason following last year's neck injury in Week 16 and is looking forward to 2011. "I wasn't going to be able to play the next game, so you might as well open up the roster spot [by placing him on injured reserve]," Graham said. "We had a lot of young guys. I definitely wasn't going to be ready the next game. A neck is a thing you don't play around with. I'm getting in shape as normal now. I could be anything from a 215 pound halfback to 230 pound fullback. When we get back, I'll probably have an idea where I fit in. There is definitely value in being flexible, which I have been for most of my career."
Analysis: Graham is expected to be the blocking back for the Bucs again in 2011. He might get the occasional carry or two, but he's not going to do much. Ignore him in all leagues on Draft Day.
News:Earnest Graham is week-to-week with a neck injury, the Buccaneers said on Monday, but he was not concussed in the team's Week 16 win vs. Seattle. Graham left the field after he took what appeared to be a late hit from Seahawks LB Aaron Curry in the second quarter. "I think it was a cheap shot," WR Micheal Spurlock said. Graham did not have any carries or catches in the game before leaving. He will likely be listed as questionable for Week 17 at New Orleans.
Analysis: Graham has minimal Fantasy value when healthy. Even if he plays against the Saints he should not be used in the majoirty of leagues.
News: The status of FB Earnest Graham (neck) who left the Week 16 game against the Seahawks and did not return, remained unknown to coach Raheem Morris after the game. Graham was hit wile going to the ground in the back of the head.
Analysis: Graham took an ugly hit that one of the broadcasters labeled as a "cheap shot." Him not being able to return is no surprise with the level of caution the NFL has taken with head injuries this season. Monitor his progress throughout the week but he will likely not be able to practice until late in the week at best, if it's a concussion. When healthy, Graham does not warrant Fantasy value.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham has left the Week 16 game against the Seahawks with an injury to the head/neck. He was hit wile going to the ground in the back of the head. He is out for the rest of the game.
Analysis: Graham took an ugly hit that one of the broadcasters labeled as a "cheap shot." Him not being able to return is no surprise with the level of caution the NFL has taken with head injuries this season.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham got a few token touches as usual Week 15 against the Lions, but this time the touches came mostly in the passing game. He had three catches for 21 yards and one rush for minus-1.
Analysis: Graham used to be a running back -- and a pretty good one in Fantasy -- but at this stage of his career, he's a fullback, meaning he does more blocking than rushing or receiving. You can leave him on waivers.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham managed just one carry for 2 yards in the Week 14 win in Washington. Graham added one catch for 5 yards. He did not score.
Analysis: Graham has done next to nothing for more than a few weeks running now. Heading into Week 15 against Detroit, we do not suggest using Graham in any Fantasy leagues. He is clearly behind LeGarrette Blount and Cadillac Williams for the Bucs.
News: It's a possible that FB Earnest Graham could be the go-to guy in short-yardage situations. "We certainly have a lot of faith in Earnest Graham and what he can do for us, and he's been that (short-yardage) guy in the past," offensive coordinator Greg Olson said. Graham actually tossed a touchdown pass in the Bucs' loss vs. the Falcons last Sunday.
Analysis: Graham isn't worth grabbing for Fantasy other than as a low-end insurance policy for LeGarrette Blount, but he could end up robbing a touchdown here and there. He'll take on the Redskins in Week 14.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to TE John Gilmore -- his second catch of the day -- to extend the Bucs lead over the Falcons in Week 13. The lead would disappear though as Atlanta would rally to win the game, 28-24. The running back didn't have a carry or target on the day.
Analysis: Graham made an impact on Sunday, it just wasn't the way Fantasy owners would think. He's fallen out of the mix for carries with the emergence of LeGarrette Blount. Despite facing Washington -- a team not good against the run -- in Week 14, Graham should be left off rosters. His Fantasy value is extremely low and is not worth owning in any league.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham was active for Week 11. He's been dealing with a hamstring injury for a few weeks now, but has been able to play on Sunday.
Analysis: Graham has been lost in the mix in the Tampa Bay backfield. With LeGarrette Blount stepping up this year, Graham's touches have been few and far between. He can be ignored in all Fantasy leagues right now.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham, who has struggled with the recent death of his mother and nagging injuries, has said he's ready to return to action after missing the past few weeks."If he can go, we're ready for him," coach Raheem Morris said.
Analysis: Graham was a candidate to step up and help the Bucs' run game, but with the emergence of LeGarrette Blount he might only contribute a few touches per week. Keep Graham off of Fantasy rosters.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham (hamstring), was listed as inactive for Week 10 against Carolina. He had already been ruled out for the game earlier in the week and was not able to practice.
Analysis: Graham sitting out another week is a tough blow for the Bucs. They lose a solid pass-catching presence out of the backfield. However, Graham is far more valuable to the Bucs right now than Fantasy owners. You can leave him off Fantasy rosters for Week 10.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham, who sat out Week 9 with a hamstring injury, will not return in Week 10 against the Panthers after being ruled out on Friday. He did not practice all week.
Analysis: Graham sitting out another week is a tough blow for the Bucs. They lose a solid pass-catching presence out of the backfield. However, Graham is far more valuable to the Bucs right now than Fantasy owners. You can leave him off Fantasy rosters for Week 10.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham, who hurt his hamstring in Week 6 and was inactive for Week 7, is also inactive for Week 9 at Atlanta after missing practice all week. The team ruled him out Friday.
Analysis: Graham was active in Week 8, but he was hardly a factor. The Buccaneers apparently decided he could use more rest. Now that LeGarrette Blount has established himself in Tampa Bay, Graham likely won't be making a Fantasy impact anytime soon. You can leave him on waivers for Week 10 against the Panthers.
News: The Buccaneers have ruled RB Earnest Graham (hamstring) out for Week 9 against the Falcons.
Analysis: Graham has one great outing under his belt this season, when he went for 65 yards and a touchdown in Week 5, but things have been downhill since and now Lagarrette Blount has emerged as a viable back for the Bucs. Continue to stash Graham away in only very deep Fantasy formats.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham was unable to practice on Thursday due to an ongoing hamstring issue. He also missed Wednesday's session. He worked out on his own or received treatment, coach Raheem Morris said.
Analysis: Graham has seen his value diminish with the injury and the emergence of LeGarrette Blount. He remains a low-end Fantasy option in deeper leagues when healthy.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham battled a hamstring injury all week for the Buccaneers and was active for Week 8. He ran the ball once for 2 yards and had one catch for 2 yards against the Cardinals.
Analysis: Graham has been more of a receiving back for the Bucs, but with the emergence of LeGarrette Blount in Week 8, Cadillac Williams may shift into Graham's role. Things are a bit messy right now, but Graham is only worth owning in the deepest of Fantasy leagues. Owners in those leagues should monitor this running back situation heading into Week 9 as the Bucs face the Falcons. Graham is just a low-end option in the deeper Fantasy leagues.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham was active for Week 8 and the Buccaneers' game versus the Cardinals. The veteran back has been dealing with a hamstring injury, which kept him out of action in Week 7.
Analysis: LeGarrette Blount was used in Graham's absence last week, so once again there is a a group of backs in Tampa that can get the job done. Graham has been most useful as a receiving back for Tampa Bay, which is good for deeper PPR Fantasy leagues. At this time, he is just a low-end option.
News: After being inactive for Week 7 with a hamstring injury, Bucs RB Earnest Graham returned to practice on Wednesday as Tampa Bay prepares for Week 8 at Arizona. The Cardinals are allowing RBs to average 21.3 Fantasy points per week, which is sixth highest in the NFL. Although, a running back hasn't scored on Arizona in its last two games. The Cardinals have allowed just one receiving touchdown to RBs this season.
Analysis: While Graham was out in Week 7, the Bucs used LeGarrette Blount in the backfield with Cadillac Williams. Blount was quite productive on the ground, meaning Graham has another player to compete with out of the backfield. However, Graham has been most useful as a receiving back for Tampa Bay. He could get anywhere from 5-10 touches per game, but he still has low-end Fantasy appeal.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham (hamstring) is officially inactive for Week 7 against the Rams.
Analysis: Graham was not going to be recommended Fantasy option, even had he been active for the Week 7 game. Graham can be avoided in all Fantasy formats and really doesn't need to be on Fantasy rosters at this time.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham has missed two of the three practice days this week as he is dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints. He is listed as probable for the Week 7 game against the Rams. Graham did not get a carry in the Week 6 game and has just 14 rushing attempts all season with one touchdown. Tampa Bay is getting set to host St. Louis in Week 7 and the last time Graham faced the Rams, in 2007, he rushed eight times for 75 yards and scored two touchdowns.
Analysis: We can give Fantasy owners this guarantee: Graham will not perform against the Rams in Week 7 as he did against them back in 2007. The Buccaneers running game is a mess and Graham isn't even the second option as that honor may belong to LeGarrette Blount now. What's more, while you might think his matchup against the Rams in Week 7 is favorable, it really isn't. The Rams are 10th in the NFL at allowing the fewest Fantasy points per game to opposing running backs and have been surprisingly stout at stopping the run. The last time a team rushed for over 100 yards against them came in Week 2 and only two rushing touchdowns have been scored on the Rams all season. Dealing with injury, Graham is absolutely someone to avoid in Week 7.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham was back at practice in full participation on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday as he is dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints.

News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham tweaked his hamstring in the first half of the Week 6 game against New Orleans. He could not return to the game. Graham did not have a catch or carry in the game before getting injured.
Analysis: Graham rushed for 65 yards and scored a touchdown in the Week 5 game at Cincinnati but only carried the ball three times in that game. He seemed to be behind Cadillac Williams and Kareem Huggins on the depth chart in the Week 6 game and did not touch the ball before leaving. If he can play Week 7 against the Rams, he would not be a recommended Fantasy option.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham (hamstring) is officially active for the Week 6 game against the Saints. Graham rushed three times and gained 65 yards with a touchdown last week. Graham got 61 yards of his yards on one carry when he busted one from his own 1-yard line.
Analysis: New Orleans is allowing opposing backs to rush for an average of 105 yards per game and had allowed four rushing touchdowns in their last four games. While Graham rushed for 65 yards and a score in the Week 5 game, he did so on just three touches. He should get more than that Week 6 with LeGarrette Blount inactive for the contest. The fact that he's a dual-threat is a good thing considering the Saints have allowed two receiving touchdowns to opposing RBs this season. Still, we can't call Graham anything more than a No. 4 or flex Fantasy option for the Week 6 game.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham returned to practice on Friday after sitting out the day before with a hamstring injury. He was listed as probable on the injury report. Graham rushed three times and gained 65 yards with a touchdown last week. Graham got 61 yards of his yards on one carry when he busted one from his own 1-yard line. The Bucs host the New Orleans Saints in Week 6 and RB Cadillac Williams is likely to remain the starter, however. In two games against the Saints last season, Graham rushed four times for 39 yards and added seven catches for 59 more with no scores.
Analysis: Graham was able to return to practice on Friday so he should be able to go in Week 6. New Orleans is allowing opposing backs to rush for an average of 105 yards per game and had allowed four rushing touchdowns in their last four games. While Graham rushed for 65 yards and a score in the Week 5 game, he did so on just three touches. For the season, Graham has made just 14 carries for 89 yards and has 10 catches for another 98 and a score. He and LeGarrette Blount both backup Williams. The fact that he's a dual-threat is a good thing considering the Saints have allowed two receiving touchdowns to opposing RBs this season. Still, we can't call Graham anything more than a No. 4 Fantasy option for the Week 6 game, if he is able to play.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham (hamstring) did not participate on Thursday's practice in preparation for Week 6 against the Saints. He rushed three times and gained 65 yards with a touchdown last week.
Analysis: Graham was able to practice on Wednesday but was held out on the second day of practice leading up to Week 6.
News: With Cadillac Williams clearly struggling, the Buccaneers have turned to LeGarrette Blount and Earnest Graham for production in the running game. While Blount didn't accomplish much in the Week 5 game at Cincinnati, Graham rushed three times and gained 65 yards with a touchdown. Graham got 61 yards of his yards on one carry when he busted one from his own 1-yard line. The Bucs host the New Orleans Saints in Week 6 and Williams is likely to remain the starter, however. In two games against the Saints last season, Graham rushed four times for 39 yards and added seven catches for 59 more with no scores.
Analysis: The Saints are giving up the sixth-most average Fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season. The fact that he's a dual-threat is a good thing considering the Saints have allowed two receiving touchdowns to opposing RBs this season. Still, we can't call Graham anything more than a No. 4 Fantasy option for the Week 6 game.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham had 65 yards on three carries in a Week 5 win at Cincinnati. Graham got 61 yards of his yards on one carry when he busted one from his own 1-yard line.
Analysis: If you take away Graham's run, the Bucs ran for just 64 yards on Sunday. Graham gets most of his carries from the fullback spot, but showed with his big run that he can still move quickly when he needs to. In Week 6, Tampa Bay host New Orleans, and Graham will remain just a bench option in the deepest of Fantasy leagues.
News: Bucs RB Ernest Graham had 70 total yards in the Week 3 loss to the Steelers. 57 yards came in the passing game (he was targeted four times and caught all four), including a 46-yard screen, the Bucs longest play. Graham carried the ball just two times for 13 yards.
Analysis: Graham made the most of his six touches. Lately, he has been a better pass catcher than runner. He has 10 catches on the season for 98 yards and a touchdown. The Bucs travel to Cincinnati in Week 5 after a bye week to take on a Bengals defense that has allowed 314 yards in three games. Still, consider Graham a low-end Fantasy value until his role in the offense becomes more featured.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham caught a 14-yard touchdown pass in Week 2 at the Panthers. He rushed three times for just one total yard, but did manage 33 yards on five receptions.
Analysis: Graham continues to see a monopoly over the rushing attempts in Tampa Bay and we don't expect that to change while he is healthy. Graham saw fewer carries in Week 2 than in Week 1 despite the fact coach Raheem Morris said he would look to open things up more in the running game. As long as the Bucs continue to distribute touches this way, Graham cannot be trusted in Fantasy.
News: Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris said he will be more open-minded about spreading carries among the running backs. Last week against Cleveland, Cadillac Williams had 22 carries for 75 yards, while Earnest Graham had only six carries for 10. No other backs carried the ball.
Analysis: Graham didn't help his cause in Week 1 with a fumble, but it looks like Morris has forgiven his back for Sunday's error. With Kareem Huggins sitting as a potentially competent No. 2 back behind Williams, Graham isn't expected to get anything but goal-line carries this season, so continue to ignore him outside of deeper Fantasy leagues.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham carried the ball just six times for 10 yards in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns. He also caught a pass for 8 yards. Graham fumbled the ball on a carry inside the 5-yard line, leading to a turnover.
Analysis: Graham was given goal line carries after Cadillac Williams drove the team down the field. He was gassed after a long run and took a couple of plays off on the sideline, only to see Graham cough it up. That may hurt Graham's chances to see goal line carries in the future. Williams monopolized most of the touches out of the back field in Week 1 and we expect that to continue for as long as he remains healthy. That means Graham is not worth owning outside of deeper leagues as a handcuff option for Williams owners. Don't activate Graham in Week 2 when the Bucs travel to Carolina.
News: Bucs coach Raheem Morris said the additions of RB LeGarrette Blount and RB Kregg Lumpkin gives the team the big backs they were lacking. "We didn't want to put (all the big-back) duties on Earnest Graham," Morris said. The Bucs open the season in Week 1 against the Browns. Cleveland ranked 28th in run defense last season, allowing 144.6 yards per game.
Analysis: It sounds as though the Bucs intend to primarily use Graham in short-yardage situations as a backup to Cadillac Williams, but they also have their concerns about a player that hasn't stayed healthy for a full season since 2006. Graham is merely a flex option in deeper Fantasy formats for Week 1 since the Browns have a suspect run defense and Graham could get six easy points, if he finds the end zone.
News: There's a chance that Buccaneers plow horse Earnest Graham could earn some stats this season. You might remember Graham from his breakout 2007 when he had 898 rush yards, 324 receiving yards and 10 total touchdowns for Tampa Bay, but accepted a fullback role in 2008 and has been in that spot ever since. But the Bucs do not have a physical inside running back they can count on right now -- Cadillac Williams is their starter and undersized, undrafted second-year player Kareem Huggins is the backup. Head coach Raheem Morris has spoken about Graham this offseason, even as recently as the day they cut Derrick Ward, saying that the rusher is someone they like and plan to involve. "We look forward to expanding his role and letting him play for us,'' Morris said. "He's done some short yardage, done some goal line. We'll just do more of those things with him and use his versatility a little bit more.''
Analysis: Graham has 1 rush yard and a 2-yard touchdown catch to show for his preseason work but did not play in the team's preseason finale -- perhaps a sign that they're going to count on him this year and didn't want him to get hurt. Graham could fit the bill as a short-yardage/goal-line back for Tampa Bay this season, though nothing the team has done this preseason suggests such a thing. But we have a feeling about Graham being a candidate for six Fantasy points in matchups where he's got a favorable matchup (Week 1 vs. Cleveland is such a matchup). We wouldn't draft Graham in standard, non-deep Fantasy leagues, but he's one to put on your radar.
News: The St. Petersburg Times reports Tuesday that the Bucs are using Earnest Graham as a fullback during OTA workouts. Graham is likely trying to find a way on the field with Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward being used at running back. "I love blocking for Cadillac, I truly, truly, do. For me, it's about winning," Graham said. "Right now I'm starting at fullback. I'm shooting to be a Pro Bowl fullback. I really believe every time I catch the ball in the flat, it can be a first down. I feel I can break those tackles. Those are the things I'm looking forward to. I believe I can catch 50 or 60 passes once Josh (Freeman) gets really comfortable with me. I think I can do some damage."
Analysis: This is good that Graham is doing what he can to see playing time, and he could be a solid receiver out of the backfield. But he's not expected to see many carries with Williams and Ward healthy. Don't plan on drafting Graham in the majority of leagues. He could be a one-week replacement in deep leagues if he ends up getting enough touches, but we'll have to see exactly how the Bucs use him in the backfield first.
News: Buccaneers FB Earnest Graham has a torn ligament in his toe and will be placed on injured reserve.
Analysis: Graham was a sensational sleeper in 2008 who accepted a demotion to fullback and special-teams ace in 2009. He shouldn't have been counted on once it was clear earlier in the season that he wasn't going to be a huge part of the Buccaneers offense. He can also be released in all Fantasy leagues at this point.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham rushed once for 8 yards and caught four passes for 43 yards in the Week 16 overtime win over the Saints. Graham was helped off the field favoring his right leg in overtime.
Analysis: Graham was more involved in the passing game in Week 16 but really isnt a factor there, either. Running behind Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward, we dont like Grahams Fantasy value for any league at this point. You can leave him on waivers for Week 17 against Atlanta. He had just one carry for no yards the last time the Falcons played the Bucs in Week 12.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham rushed one time in the Week 14 loss to the Jets and totaled 2 yards. He did not make a catch in the game.
Analysis: Graham has really fallen out of favor behind Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward in Tampa. He has barely been used recently and doesnt need to be used in Week 15 at Seattle.
News: The St. Pete Times reports that Tampa Bay RB Cadillac Williams' back "tweaked" his back on Friday. Bucs coach Raheem Morris was not clear on Williams' status for the team's Week 14 game against the Jets. Derrick Ward would carry the load if Williams is unable to play and Earnest Graham could also get some carries.
Analysis: Williams is coming off of a performance in which he ran 17 times for 92 yards and caught two passes for 14 yards in a Week 13 loss to the Panthers. He is now certainly a question mark for Week 14 and Fantasy owners should prepare to not have him available for the game against the Jets. Williams was only considered a flex option at best against New York's solid run defense and the injury can't help his cause. Ward and Graham should both be considered just low-end options even if Williams is out of the game.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham made one 5-yard catch in a Week 13 loss to Carolina.
Analysis: Graham is a little-used option in Tampa Bay these days, so continue to ignore him in Fantasy play heading into Week 13 vs. the Jets.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham rushed once for zero yards in Week 12 against the Falcons. Graham also had one catch for 15 yards.
Analysis: Graham will go weeks without touching the ball for the Bucs. Hes not worth using Week 13 at Carolina.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham made the most of three carries, totaling 31 yards vs. the Saints in Week 11. He also had 16 yards on three catches.
Analysis: Graham doesn't produce enough stats on a weekly basis to warrant Fantasy use. Keep the one-time stud running back off of all but the deepest of rosters. The Bucs play the Falcons in Week 12.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham made a 16-yard catch in a Week 10 loss at Miami.
Analysis: Graham is a little-used option in Tampa Bay these days, so continue to ignore him in Fantasy play heading into Week 11 vs. New Orleans.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham, TE Jerramy Stevens, WR Brian Clark and QB Josh Johnson all dressed for a win over the Packers in Week 9, but did not record an offensive stat.
Analysis: None of these players have any Fantasy value heading into Week 10 at Miami.
News: Buccaneers WR Michael Clayton, FB Earnest Graham, WR Yamon Figurs, WR Maurice Stovall and TE John Gilmore all dressed for a Week 7 loss to the Patriots in London, but failed to record an offensive stat.
Analysis: Clayton and Graham have minimal Fantasy value, but aren't worth using until further notice. The rest of these guys are all non-factors. Tampa Bay is off in Week 8.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham made one catch for 2 yards Week 6 against the Panthers. He did not carry the football.
Analysis: Graham did not see any carries Week 6 and is just the third-string RB behind Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward in Tampa. He is not worth using Week 7 at home against New England.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham (hamstring) is active for Week 6 against the Panthers.
Analysis: Graham has dropped to third on the depth chart in Tampa Bay as Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward are getting the bulk of the carries. Graham is at best a low-end option Week 6.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham (hamstring) was able to practice without any restrictions all week as the team prepares for its Week 6 game against the Panthers. Graham was held out of Week 5 due to the injury but has been listed as probable for Week 6.
Analysis: Graham has dropped to third on the depth chart in Tampa Bay as Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward are getting the bulk of the carries. Graham is at best a low-end option Week 6.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham (hamstring) was named among the inactives for Week 5 at the Eagles.
Analysis: Graham was listed as questionable, so this news doesn't come as a huge surprise. Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward will likely split carries in his place, but will only be worth using in deeper leagues as No. 3 Fantasy RBs or flex options.
News: The Bucs expect to have RBs Derrick Ward (knee) and Earnest Graham (hamstring) available Sunday, but don't be surprised to see RB Cadillac Williams in more of a featured role. "As good as he's been," said offensive coordinator Greg Olson on Wednesday, "it's time to make more of a commitment to Cadillac as a full-time guy." Williams said he's ready to handle he load heading into Week 5 at the Eagles. "I'm good," he said. "I feel good. My body's holding up, so it feels good. I can't complain." Graham was listed as questionable for Week 5 on Friday while Ward is probable.
Analysis: Keep an eye on what happens with Ward and Graham, but they should be reserved against the Eagles. Williams should be considered a No. 3 option against Philadelphia, and hopefully he will continue to play at a high level in Week 5.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham, the No. 2 back with Derrick Ward out and Cadillac Williams starting, rushed for just 8 yards against the Redskins in a loss Week 4. Graham carried the ball only five times. He also caught two passes for 9 yards. Graham did not score.
Analysis: Graham has only eight carries on the season for 25 yards and only three catches for 12 yards. Behind Ward and Williams on the depth chart, Graham has become a forgotten offensive option for a dismal Tampa Bay team. Ward may return for Week 5 at Philadelphia, but even if he cannot, we still don't recommend using Graham against the Eagles' tough defense. Leave him on your bench or on waivers for Week 5.
News: Tampa Bay WR Maurice Stovall and RB Earnest Graham are both active for Week 4 at Washington.
Analysis: Graham and Stovall have some minimal Fantasy value and both return from being inactive Week 3. Graham could see a boost in production with Derrick Ward out but the Bucs have Cadillac Williams as healthy and against a tough Washington defense, we wouldn't use Graham. Stovall should also be benched against a solid defense.
News: PewterReport.com says RB Derrick Ward didn't practice again on Friday, making his chances of playing against the Redskins in Week 4 slim. Ward is dealing with a knee injury. If he's out, Cadillac Williams would likely start and see some playing time along with Earnest Graham and Clifton Smith.
Analysis: For now, count Ward out for Week 4 while Cadillac Williams moves up as a decent No. 3 Fantasy RB even though it will be tough for him to run freely against the Redskins. Additionally, Graham and Smith are worth taking a flier on since one or both could see a handful of carries -- Graham could see goal-line work potentially.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham, who missed Week 3 against the Giants, was able to practice in full on Thursday with a hamstring injury as the team prepares for its Week 4 matchup with Washington. Graham is considered probable for the game.
Analysis: The Bucs are banged up at the RB position, with Graham missing last week's game. The team needs all the help it can get carrying the ball, so if Graham is healthy enough to play, which it seems like he will be, he'll likely be active. However, he is not a recommended Fantasy option for Week 4 against Washington even if he is active unless Derrick Ward is listed as inactive for the game.
News: The Buccaneers have listed the inactives for their Week 3 game vs. the Giants: QB Josh Freeman, RB Earnest Graham, WR Maurice Stovall, DT Dre Moore and DE Kyle Moore.
Analysis: Graham and Stovall have some minimal Fantasy value, so be sure to bench them in all formats. Ignore the other guys.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 3 vs. N.Y. Giants. Graham took limited practice reps all week.
Analysis: Graham is not the only Bucs RB nicked up this week. Cadillac Williams is also questionable for Week 3. It seems as though Derrick Ward will get most of the carries against the Giants, so even if Graham is healthy, we aren't sure how much he will be used. He is not a recommended Fantasy start.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham got only two rushing attempts on Sunday in Week 2's game against the Bills. He ran for a total of 16 yards, with a long of 13 yards.
Analysis: The Buccaneers threw the ball 50 times in Week 2 as the Buccaneers rushing attack did little overall. Graham is the third option out of the backfield in Tsampa Bay right now behind Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward. Continue to leave him out of lineups for Week 3's game against the Giants and only own him as a handcuff option.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham wasn't heavily involved in the offensive gameplan during a Week 1 loss to the Cowboys. Graham, who played behind Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward, carried the ball just once for one yard. He also had no receptions.
Analysis: Believe it or not, but Graham spent a great deal of time against the Cowboys playing on special teams as a gunner. He watched as the 1-2 punch of Williams and Ward carried the workload and appear to have established themselves as the key runners for Tampa Bay. It's a real shame since Graham has been so good as an injury replacement for the Bucs the last two seasons. As it stands now, Graham is not a recommended Fantasy option heading into Week 2. The Bucs will play the Bills.
News: The Buccaneers will play a non-divisional opponent in Week 1 when they host the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys run defense was ranked 12th in the NFL last season. They limited the Bucs to just 49 yards rushing in their only meeting last season.
Analysis: The Buccaneers have released their official depth chart, and Cadillac Williams is ahead of Derrick Ward and Earnest Graham, fueling speculation that he will start the team's Week 1 game vs. Dallas. We expected a split of the rushing duties between the Bucs' running backs in the first place, so this isn't much of a surprise. If head coach Raheem Morris sticks to his plan with his running backs, Williams will play in the first two series, followed by Ward for two and then Graham for one before repeating. That should result in Williams getting the bulk of the work, Ward seeing some decent playing time and Graham struggling to be relevant. Williams and Ward are no better than No. 3 Fantasy rushing options against the Cowboys in Week 1 while Graham should remain benched.
News: The Buccaneers have released their official depth chart, and Cadillac Williams is ahead of Derrick Ward and Earnest Graham, fueling speculation that he will start the team's Week 1 game vs. Dallas. Williams has looked sharp in limited preseason play and did indeed start the club's third week of preseason action, gaining 54 yards on eight carries against the Dolphins. Ward had nine carries for 43 yards and three catches for 21 yards over two games while Graham didn't see many reps and had just five carries for 39 yards in one game.

News: Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris revealed Tuesday that RB Cadillac Williams, recovered from a second torn patellar tendon in two seasons, will start the team's third preseason game vs. Miami. It was initially reported that Morris wanted to begin the regular season using a rotation that started Williams for two series, then Derrick Ward for two series, then Earnest Graham for one series, but Morris admitted he doesn't care who gets what role, muddling the situation in Tampa Bay further. "I don't care who [gets] the first two [series], the second two [series] and the third one [series], that's like the hot man, it doesn't really matter. Situationally, we want to add different backs for different situations ... so I'm going to mix that in, and the person getting one will make it up in situational play. ... It really doesn't matter who the back is. It could be the back that was hot from the week before, it could be the back that got hot during the game. It could be anything. Then the other guy could take the load in situational football [it's designed to] keep them fresh, keep them healthy, and as you know as the season goes on, there'll be an ankle or turf toe injury that might change whatever the situation may be."
Analysis: Morris said that Williams is looking good. "To see him perform, to see him make cuts and dynamic movements, he looks like the old Cadillac," Morris said about his rusher's Tuesday practice. We're happy to see Williams back, but it's beginning to look like a crowded backfield in Tampa Bay, one that will cripple the Fantasy value of all their running backs. Go into the season with the idea that Ward is still the safest and most reliable option, albeit as a middle- to low-end No. 3 choice worth a mid-round pick. Williams jumps into the mix as a decent reserve worth a middle- to late-round pick, which is what Graham is as well since he could be in line for a work at the goal line.
News: According to the official team web site, Tampa Bay has listed Earnest Graham as the starting RB ahead of Derrick Ward on the first depth chart. Part of the reason could be that Ward is dealing with a foot injury, which has limited him in training camp. Still, Ward said in a recent interview with CBSSports.com that he expects to be "the focus now" when the season starts. "Every single player wants to be that guy," Ward said. "We have some quality running backs here. Earnest Graham and Cadillac Williams are working hard and looking good in practice. We have running backs that can get the job done." He also added about Graham, "We know what our role is. Me and Earnest will get it done."
Analysis: We still value Ward as the better Fantasy option since he's the one expected to get the majority of touches. But Graham is the bigger back, and he's expected to be the one scoring touchdowns. However, this is interesting that Graham is listed first on the depth chart. Go into the season with Ward a No. 3 Fantasy RB worth a mid-round pick, with Graham expected to be drafted a round or two later.

News: The St. Petersburg Times reports Tampa Bay RBs Earnest Graham and Derrick Ward both know they will play plenty, and the team plans to use a platoon system this year. But how Graham and Ward are used, and who starts, hasn't been decided coming into training camp.
Analysis: The way we see it is Ward will get the majority of touches with Graham working at the goal line and short-yardage situations. It's probably a situation similar to Tennessee with Chris Johnson and LenDale White, but it could also mirror Carolina with DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. Ward should be considered a low-end No. 2 Fantasy RB worth a mid-round pick, and Graham is more of a No. 3 option who should go a couple of rounds later than Ward.
News: The St. Petersburg Times reports Tampa Bay running backs coach Steve Logan said RBs Earnest Graham and Derrick Ward will split carries this year. "I think Earnest, everybody, the fans and coaches know what Earnest is and what he can do," Logan said. "I think Derrick is going to give us a good change of pace from Earnest. Earnest has a lot of power and is very quick in short spaces. I think Derrick has a little more speed, for lack of a better word, and might give us a little bit more plays outside the tackles. I see a nice complement between those two."
Analysis: We expect Graham and Ward to share carries with Graham being the short-yardage goal-line back and Ward getting more catches. Both have value this year as No. 3 Fantasy options. Graham will have value scoring touchdowns, and Ward proved last year with the Giants he can rush for 1,000 yards in a tandem with Brandon Jacobs. We like both rushers a lot this season.
News: According to a report, Bucs RB Earnest Graham, who missed six games last year and was placed on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain, went through drills at full speed, said NFL.com. The Bucs are going through organized team activities this week. "I'm fine. I'm at 100 percent," Graham told the Tampa Tribune. "I'm ready to rock. I'm good."
Analysis: This is good news for Graham, who has the chance to play well for the Bucs this year with their new zone blocking scheme. Graham will lose carries to free agent addition Derrick Ward, but he should still be a good source of touchdowns. Consider Graham with a mid-round selection and treat him like a solid No. 3 Fantasy option.
News: Agent Drew Rosenhaus posted on Twitter that Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham is well on his way back from ankle surgery. Graham hurt his ankle in Week 11 last season and was placed on IR; the injury was never disclosed. "He has been able to work out at full speed. He is looking good," Rosenhaus wrote.
Analysis: Graham's ankle might be fine, but his workload isn't. The Buccaneers added Derrick Ward this offseason to potentially start and definitely work in tandem with Graham. The bruising rusher said he's fine with the idea that he'll share carries, and we understand why since he's the logical choice to be the goal-line back as part of the split with Ward. We expect to see Tampa Bay running a lot in 2009 as they work behind a massive offensive line. Graham should see a decent amount of work, maybe 12 touches per game, along with all of the goal-line reps. Ultimately, Graham is a solid No. 3 Fantasy RB who might only be worth a couple of points each week for Fantasy unless he finds the end zone. He slips from being a potential Round 4 or 5 guy to a Round 7 or 8 guy.
News:Earnest Graham told the team's official Web site that he's excited by the arrival of RB Derrick Ward to Tampa Bay and envisions a Panthers-like twosome making up the club's running game. "I love the idea, man. I went through a season two years ago where I was the only back and I got all the carries and never came off the field," Graham said. "That's tough. It's tough, man. ... I think only averaged about 13 or 14 carries a game last year. It felt good to be able to do that. I always felt comfortable that I could do that. The year before I was nicked up and I was the only guy out there, so I was very tired. I was doing all the routes, all the running, all the protecting, so I really didn't have my legs. Last year, I had Warrick and I was a little fresher towards the end (of the season)."
Analysis: We expect to see Tampa Bay running a lot in 2009 as they work behind a massive offensive line. Graham should see a decent amount of work, maybe 12 touches per game, along with all of the goal-line reps, which is one advantage he'll have over Derrick Ward in 2009. Ultimately, Graham is a solid No. 3 Fantasy RB who might only be worth a couple of points each week for Fantasy unless he finds the end zone. He slips from being a potential Round 4 or 5 guy to a Round 7 or 8 guy.
News: The Tampa Tribune is among the media throng reporting Tuesday that free-agent RB Derrick Ward has agreed to a four-year, $17 million deal with the Buccaneers. The signing cements that the Bucs will have a running back-by-committee approach with Ward sharing the workload with Earnest Graham.
Analysis: While Ward will take on nearly all of the third-down work as well as split reps with Graham in other situations, there's no doubt that Graham will get the goal-line work for the Bucs. If anything, Ward's presence will cut down on Graham's yardage potential but not necessarily his touchdown workload. Ward will also help keep Graham fresh as he'll take more touches from him that Warrick Dunn did last season. Ultimately, Graham is a solid No. 3 Fantasy RB who might only be worth a couple of points each week for Fantasy unless he finds the end zone. He slips from being a potential Round 4 or 5 guy to a Round 7 or 8 guy.
News: Buccaneers leading rusher Earnest Graham will miss the rest of the season after injuring his right ankle during last week's victory over the Vikings in Week 11. Graham limped off the field after his only carry against the Vikings. The Bucs said he hurt his ankle, but did not release specifics about the injury. With Graham out, Warrick Dunn moves into the featured tailback role.
Analysis: By and large, Graham's Fantasy season was far from a waste. In 10 starts, he had 563 rush yards on 132 carries (4.3 avg.) with four touchdowns and two 100-yard games, 23 catches for 174 yards (7.6 avg.) and two fumbles lost in the same game (at the Chiefs in Week 9). He can be safely released from all seasonal Fantasy rosters at this point. Look to Warrick Dunn as the best fill-in for him, with other waiver wire stop-gap options including Peyton Hillis, Antonio Pittman and Pierre Thomas.
News: The Tampa Tribune reports that Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden said RB Earnest Graham is unlikely to play again this season with an ankle injury suffered vs. Minnesota in Week 11. "Earnest Graham's ankle looks to be a serious injury and his status for the rest of the season is very much in question," Gruden said. "I'm just very disappointed for our guy Earnest. He means a lot to us. He's done so much for us here in the last couple years. He's a key reason why we are where we are. We'll have to make some adjustments, obviously."
Analysis: If Graham misses the rest of the year, Warrick Dunn would be in line to be the primary ball carrier for the Bucs with Cadillac Williams and Clifton Smith pitching in. The Bucs might also bring in someone to help, and they also might use fullback B.J. Askew more as a running back. Obviously, Graham's Fantasy owners need to keep close tabs on his status, but if Gruden is grim about his future then it's not likely going to end well. Begin to come up with a contingency plan for Graham, starting with Dunn as a logical replacement in Fantasy lineups. The Bucs play at Detroit in Week 12.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham left Tampa Bay's Week 11 game vs. Minnesota in the first quarter with an ankle injury. He did not return to the game and finished with three yards rushing on one carry.
Analysis: Graham was questionable coming in with a knee injury, but now he apparently has a separate issue to worry about. He was limping around and shaking his head on the sideline, and we all know how dangerous ankle injuries can be for running backs. Continue to monitor his progress heading into Week 12 at Detroit, as that is a great matchup if Graham is healthy.
News: Buccaneers RBs Warrick Dunn (back) and Earnest Graham (knee) were not listed among the inactives for Tampa Bay's Week 11 game vs. Minnesota. They will likely split carries.
Analysis: Figure Dunn good for 10 rushes and a couple of catches, possibly making him good enough to be a No. 3 Fantasy RB in the deepest of leagues. It won't help his case that he's running against a stiff Vikings run D, however. Graham has minimal value as a low-end No. 2 RB with this tough matchup.
News: Bucs coach Jon Gruden said Friday that RB Earnest Graham will play with a knee injury vs. the Vikings in Week 11. "He's going to gut it out, he's going to grit it out just like pro football players do this time of year," Gruden said. "I've got good feelings for Earnest Graham."
Analysis: Graham will be at less than 100 percent, splitting reps with Warrick Dunn and will face off against the Vikings' stifling run defense. Those are some sizable strikes against Graham in Week 11. If you can, consider other options at running back before going with him this week since his expectations are not very high.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham, who has been battling a knee injury, returned to practice Thursday, reports the St. Petersburg Times. Graham was limited in practice on Wednesday in preparation for Week 11 against Minnesota.
Analysis: It appears like Graham will be able to return for Week 11 against the Vikings. He left Week 9 against Kansas City with the injury, and the Bucs were off in Week 10. When healthy, Graham is a No. 2 Fantasy RB, but the Vikings are No. 3 in run defense. Graham also has to deal with sharing carries with Warrick Dunn and Cadillac Williams, who was activated off the PUP list Wednesday.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham (knee) was limited in practice on Wednesday in preparation for Week 11 against Minnesota.
Analysis: Keep an eye on Graham throughout the week and hope he can play. When healthy, he is a solid No. 2 Fantasy RB, but he has a tough matchup this week against Minnesota, which could lower his Fantasy value even if he does play.
News: Bucs coach Jon Gruden said Monday that RB Earnest Graham, who suffered a knee injury in Week 9 against Kansas City, might be limited heading into Week 11 against Minnesota. The Bucs were on a bye in Week 10. "We'll see where he is on Wednesday," Gruden said. "He hurt his knee. He has a chance to play in this game, but I can't really tell you anymore until Wednesday when we see him here in the next 48 hours."
Analysis: Keep an eye on Graham throughout the week and hope he can play. When healthy, he is a solid No. 2 Fantasy RB, but he has a tough matchup this week against Minnesota, which could lower his Fantasy value even if he does play.
News: Buccaneers coach Jon Gruden said Monday that RB Earnest Graham suffered a knee injury Sunday against the Chiefs and will be evaluated early this week. "I think he got hurt early in the game," Gruden said. "He went to the locker room, trainers looked at him, courageously he came out and played in the second half. It's a tough time of year, midseason, for a running back in the NFL. These guys are all sore and beat up. Have we asked a lot of Earnest? Maybe too much at times, yes, yes we have, but that's what you do with your best players. ... We got to lean on our guy, and he's our only healthy versatile back going into the game, so that was our plan. Unfortunately, we fell behind, and we obviously had to get into a little bit of a throw it mentality late in the game."
Analysis: The Bucs are off in Week 10, so hopefully Graham could have some time to heal. Continue to monitor his status and hope he is OK. When healthy, Graham is a No. 2 Fantasy option. Against the Chiefs, Graham ran the ball 19 times for 62 yards and also caught five passes for 29 yards. His lone touchdown came on the first passing attempt of his career -- a 3-yard toss to TE Alex Smith in the fourth quarter.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham, getting to handle a larger percentage of his team's carries than usual with Warrick Dunn sidelined by a back injury, ran the ball 19 times for 62 yards Week 9 at Kansas City. He also caught five passes for 29 yards. His lone touchdown came on the first passing attempt of his career -- a three-yard toss to TE Alex Smith in the fourth quarter.
Analysis: Graham's performance had suffered with the emergence of Dunn, but he got enough touches to top 60 yards for the first time in five games. He hasn't averaged as many yards per carry as he did earlier in the season, when he broke off a few big runs, but he remains at least 50 percent of his team's rushing offense and gets pretty much all of the carries at the goal line. He still rates as a No. 2 Fantasy RB normally, but a No. 3 option Week 11 against the Vikings, who the Buccaneers play after their bye in Week 10.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham had 17 carries for 42 yards and four catches for 22 yards Sunday at Dallas. He got the majority of carries with Warrick Dunn only getting one carry and two catches.
Analysis: Dunn was limited all week with a pinched nerve, but Graham remains the No. 1 option in Tampa Bay. Look for him to have a great game in Week 9 at Kansas City, which is last in the NFL in run defense.
News:Warrick Dunn is a little banged up with a pinched nerve in his neck, which should give Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham more carries this week. When Dunn left the game against Seattle last week, Graham finished with 23 carries, which was his high for the season. Graham still started at fullback, but that could change if Dunn is out or limited. But no matter what role Graham plays, count on him to do well this week. The Cowboys run defense looked awful last week against the Rams and is missing Roy Williams, who is out with a broken arm. Steven Jackson ran for 160 yards and three touchdowns against the Cowboys last week, so look for Graham, who has four touchdowns in his past six games, to do well in this matchup.
Analysis: Consider Graham a No. 2 Fantasy RB and a solid start against the Cowboys. Hopefully he will pick up where Jackson left off last week.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham again started at fullback Sunday against Seattle and ran 23 times for 52 yards and a touchdown. He also had two catches for 13 yards. Graham opened the game in tandem with Warrick Dunn, but Graham got more carries and yards, with Dunn finishing at 13 carries for 37 yards. On the night retired RB Mike Alstott was honored, he was impressed with Graham. "We're similar, we're very similar," Alstott said of Graham, who switched to fullback last week. "He can do a lot. He's versatile. He's a team player. When he gets an opportunity he makes the best of it and, if he doesn't get the opportunity, he doesn't complain about it. That's what wins championships." Graham has scored a touchdown in his past seven home games going back to last year.
Analysis: The thought was Graham would see more time at tailback with the Bucs signing Jameel Cook, who had two catches for 15 yards but no carries. It happened at time, but Tampa Bay still used Graham to block early in the game. Hopefully this doesn't continue, but since Graham led the team in carries, it appears it doesn't matter what role he plays. Consider Graham a No. 2 Fantasy option in Week 8 at Dallas, which just got run over by Steven Jackson (160 rushing yards and three touchdowns).
News: The Bucs signed FB Jameel Cook to replace the injured B.J. Askew and Byron Storer, which means Bucs RB Earnest Graham won't be blocking as much as he did last week against Carolina. Against the Panthers, Graham was limited to five carries for 11 yards, but he did score a touchdown.
Analysis: No matter what role Graham plays, however, he'll still score touchdowns, and Seattle has allowed five rushing touchdowns this year. The Seahawks also allow 126.2 rushing yards per game, so look for Graham to play well on the night Tampa Bay pays tribute to former running back Mike Alstott. Graham has scored a touchdown in his past six home games going back to last year. Consider him a solid No. 2 Fantasy option this week.
News: Bucs coach Jon Gruden said he would consider keeping Earnest Graham at FB with the injury to Bryon Storer. But Gruden would prefer to keep things as they are with Graham at RB and bring in another FB. "You know what? Earnest is a heck of a tailback," Gruden said Monday. "We possibly could be looking for a fullback. Obviously moving a tight end into that position has always been a part of our contingency plan. ... Earnest Graham, he made my Pro Bowl yesterday as a back. He played fullback, halfback, played in space."
Analysis: Graham was limited to five carries for 11 yards Sunday against Carolina while he played fullback, but he did score a touchdown. Hopefully the Bucs will find a FB and keep Graham as a rusher. For now, consider him a No. 2 Fantasy option against Seattle.
News: Buccaneers RB Warrick Dunn had a game-high 22 rushes for 115 yards in Week 6 vs. Carolina. He also caught three passes for 18 yards. His longest run from scrimmage went for 20 yards. With the Buccaneers already thin at fullback, Byron Storer had to leave the game and that created a situation where Earnest Graham had to be used more as the blocking back out of the back field with Dunn being the smaller, slasher running back. Graham finished the game with five carries for 11 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Graham also had two big catches out of the backfield, totaling 47 yards.
Analysis: Using Graham and Dunn in this way worked so well in this game that it may be something the team chooses to employ in the future, especially if the team remains limited at the fullback slot with B.J. Askew also dealing with an injury. For that reason, Dunn should be a popular pickup off the waiver wire this week. But Graham owners should not panic just yet. We don't recommend starting Dunn as anything more than a low-end 'flex' option as a bye week replacement in Week 5 at home vs. Seattle because this very well could be a one-week fluke due to the circumstances. Graham remains the primary back unless the Bucs announce otherwise over the course of the week prior to Week 6 vs. Seattle.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham has had a touchdown in six straight home games, including a playoff loss the Giants last January. Graham averaged nearly six yards per carry during a Week 5 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: Graham got only 10 carries for 59 yards, but he wasn't contained, he just did not get the ball enough. Graham, who has two 100-yard games in 2008, remains a solid No. 2 Fantasy RB heading into Week 6 against the Panthers.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham averaged nearly six yards per carry during a Week 5 loss to the Broncos; it was just too bad he got only 10 carries for 59 yards. Graham, who has two 100-yard games in 2008, also had five catches for 21 yards but no scores.
Analysis: Graham is averaging 5.9 yards per carry this season and is showing people that last season was no fluke. He does lose carries and receptions to Warrick Dunn, but Graham is the Bucs' go-to-back. He remains no worse than a No. 2 Fantasy RB heading into Week 6 against the Panthers. Graham had 17 carries for 48 yards in one game against Carolina last season.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham ran 20 times for 111 yards and a touchdown in a Week 4 win over the Packers. He also caught one pass for three yards.
Analysis: Graham was having a mediocre day until he busted a 47-yard run with just over two minutes to go in the game and then scored from one yard out on the next play. Graham has been living like that all season though, so his owners should be used to it by now. In Week 5, the Buccaneers visit Denver, and Graham will be a nice No. 2 option for that nice matchup.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham could only muster up 16 rush yards on 12 carries at Chicago in Week 3, good for one whole Fantasy point in most leagues. Graham was stuffed on the majority of his carries by the Bears' front seven, and eventually the Bucs stopped going to him and let QB Brian Griese throw 67 times.
Analysis: We should expect better from Graham each week, but he'll have another challenging matchup vs. Green Bay in Week 4. Consider him a low-end No. 2/top-end No. 3 Fantasy RB for the game. At least he'll have a chance to score every week as a goal-line back.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham ran 15 times for 116 yards, including a 68-yard touchdown, in a win over the Falcons in Week 2. He also caught one pass for 12 yards.
Analysis: Graham was solid against the Falcons in two meetings last season and kept up that trend in Week 2 with a nice Fantasy day. In Week 3 he will face a Bears defense that gave up 77 yards and two touchdowns to Carolina RB Jonathan Stewart, so continue to consider Graham a low-end No. 1 or high-end No. 2 in Week 2, depending on the size of your league.
News: In two games vs. Atlanta last year, Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham had 229 scrimmage yards. Tampa Bay hosts the Falcons in Week 2.
Analysis: The Falcons stuffed the Lions running game in Week 1, so Graham might have his work cut out for himself on Sunday. Also, his QB is a little dinged up right now. Consider Graham a low-end No. 1 or high-end No. 2 in Week 2, depending on the size of your league.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham rushed for 91 yards on 10 carries in a Week 1 loss to the Saints. Graham also caught three passes for 27 yards.
Analysis: Graham's stats were impressive on Sunday, but you need to realize that 46 of his rushing yards came on one carry. Still, if you take away that run, he finished with a five-yard average per carry. Many people were unsure what Graham would bring into the 2008 season, and while they still might have some issues after Sunday's loss, he showed he should still be considered a nice No. 2 Fantasy RB option in all formats. In Week 2, the Buccaneers will host the Falcons, who held the Lions to just 62 rushing yards in a Week 1 victory.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham got one start against division opponent New Orleans in 2007. He rushed 22 times for 106 yards and a touchdown in Week 13 at the Saints. In Week 1, Graham will take on the Saints in New Orleans once again as the starter for Tampa Bay.
Analysis: Graham comes into 2008 as the starter for the Bucs and is a great option as a No. 2 Fantasy RB for Week 1. With Cadillac Williams out to start the year, Graham will have little competition for carries.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham made his preseason debut Sunday against New England and had five carries for 13 yards and a touchdown in the first half before leaving the game. "I felt good," said Graham, who missed the preseason opener against Miami with an ankle injury. "It felt good to go out there and bang a little bit. I got some live protection, some live goal line and it felt great."
Analysis: Graham comes into 2008 as the starter for the Bucs and is a great option as a No. 2 Fantasy RB. With Cadillac Williams out to start the year, Graham will have little competition for carries. He is a great pick toward the end of the second round or beginning of the third and should be a solid source of yards and touchdowns for the Bucs.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham didn't play Saturday against Miami in the team's first preseason game. Graham has been dealing with an ankle injury, and he was replaced by Michael Bennett and Kenneth Darby. Graham is not believed to be seriously injured, and resting him against the Dolphins was a precautionary move.
Analysis: Graham should be fine for the start of the year. Continue to monitor his status during training camp, but he should still be drafted as a No. 2 Fantasy option worth a pick toward the end of Round 2 or the beginning of Round 3 in all leagues.
News: The Tampa Tribune reports that Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham twisted his ankle in practice on Tuesday, forcing him out of the club's workout early. No word was given as to how long he'd be out, but he's not expected to miss much time.
Analysis: Graham enjoyed a breakout season in 2007, running for 898 yards and 10 touchdowns with 49 receptions for 324 yards. Graham, 28, could have had well over 1,000 yards rushing but did not play in the final game of the regular season and had only nine carries the week before. Graham also did not enter the starting lineup until Week 6 of the season. Graham should remain a high-production runner with goal-line work, though he will lose reps to veteran Warrick Dunn at the start of the season. Draft Graham as a No. 2 Fantasy option worth a pick between late Round 2 and the end of Round 3.
News: NFL Network reports that the Buccaneers and RB Earnest Graham have agreed to terms on a four-year, $11 million contract extension. Graham is now expected to not only attend training camp on-time for the club, but also be their starting running back in 2008 since they have a solid investment in him.
Analysis: Graham enjoyed a breakout season in 2007, running 222 times for 898 yards and 10 touchdowns with 49 receptions for 324 yards. Graham, 28, could have had well over 1,000 yards rushing but did not play in the final game of the regular season and had only nine carries the week before. Graham also did not enter the starting lineup until Week 6 of the season. Graham should remain a high-production runner with goal-line work, though he will lose reps to veteran Warrick Dunn as well as Cadillac Williams, assuming Williams is back from a knee procedure. Draft Graham as a No. 2 Fantasy option worth a pick between late Round 2 and the end of Round 3.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham showed up to the team's mandatory minicamp Tuesday, reports the Pewter Report. It was the first practice that Graham participated in this offseason. Graham and the Bucs have been negotiating a contract extension over the offseason. Graham is entering the final season of his contract with Tampa Bay. Given his absence at OTAs, some have speculated that Graham may hold out of training camp practices in an effort to get the new contract that he desires. On Saturday, Graham said he would not do that.
Analysis: In 2007, Graham enjoyed a breakout season. He ran the ball 222 times for 898 yards and 10 touchdowns. As a receiver, Graham hauled in 49 passes for 324 yards. Graham, 28, could have had well over 1,000 yards rushing. He did not play in the final game of the regular season, and had only nine carries the week before. The Buccaneers chose to rest Graham after winning the NFC South. Graham also did not enter the starting lineup until Week 6 of the season. Look for Graham to win the starting job again, but he will lose some carries to Dunn and eventually Williams when he returns. Still, Graham can get about 18-20 touches a game and should be drafted as a No. 2 Fantasy option.
News: While Bucs RB Earnest Graham has missed voluntary workouts while he seeks a contract extension, he told Pewter Report that he will be at the mandatory minicamp and will not hold out of training camp. Since Graham last carried the ball for the Buccaneers, the organization has added a number of players at his position. The team re-signed RB Michael Bennett, and signed free agent and former Buc, Warrick Dunn. With Cadillac Williams coming back from an injury at some point in 2008, the Buccaneers have a lot of depth at running back. Graham answered if he was concerned about this starting position due to the Bucs new additions and his absences from practice. "No, I expect to go into camp and just compete like everybody else does," said Graham. "I'm sure it's a lot better to be there, but a I'll be in it. We have a great set of backs."

News: When the Bucs returned to the practice field for their fifth "voluntary" workout of the offseason Wednesday, RB Earnest Graham wasn't with them, reports the Tampa Tribune. Instead of showing up and participating in workouts the way QB Jeff Garcia -- who also wants a contract extension -- is, Graham has been advised to sit out in an effort to reduce the risk of injury, which could really cut into his bargaining power. When asked if he'll be around for the next round of workouts he said with a sigh, "I don't know, man." You get the feeling Graham would really like to be there but that he realizes he has to do what's best for him. And if that means sitting out, it looks like he'll continue to sit out. After all, this is his best chance yet to cash in on his talent.
Analysis: Coming off a season in which he fell just short of the 1,000-yard rushing mark while producing more than 1,000 total yards, Graham has obviously earned the right to seek a raise of the $605,000 he's slated to make in 2008. He also wants some security to go with that. Keep an eye on what develops and hope Graham's situation is settled prior to training camp. Graham is expected to be a No. 2 Fantasy option in 2008.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham did not attend Tuesday's voluntary workout, reports the Tampa Tribune. Graham, who is also embroiled in contract negotiations, has yet to show for a voluntary workout this offseason. He told the Tribune last month that he missed the first round of workouts because of family commitments and planned on attending the second round of workouts. His absence on Tuesday, however, could be a sign that he is unhappy with the state of contract talks.
Analysis: Graham had a breakthrough year last season when he ran for 898 yards on 222 carries (4.0 avg.) with 10 touchdowns in 10 starts. He also showed off an impressive receiving skill set, catching 49 balls for 324 yards. Hopefully he will show up to training camp and build off last season's success. Keep an eye on what happens because Graham should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy option in 2008.
News: The St. Petersburg Times reports that Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham has skipped the first two days of the club's voluntary workout program, a sign that he might be disappointed that the club hasn't talked to him about a contract extension. The former undrafted rusher emerged for 898 yards on 222 carries (4.0 avg.) with 10 touchdowns in 10 starts. He also showed off an impressive receiving skill set, catching 49 balls for 324 yards (6.6 avg.). He also had one fumble, but offset that by owning three 100-yard games and stringing together six consecutive games with at least one touchdown in each.
Analysis: Graham is expected to be the Buccaneers' starting running back to begin the 2008 season, especially with Cadillac Williams' knee still ailing and Warrick Dunn added for depth and to be a possible third-down back. Graham will have the benefit of not only starting but also getting goal-line carries, which puts him right into No. 2 Fantasy RB territory. Expect to see Graham drafted between the middle of Round 2 and the start of Round 3.
News: The Buccaneers signed RB Warrick Dunn to come back to Tampa Bay and aid the club in its running game. Dunn is expected to fill in as a third-down back as well as spell Graham in certain offensive situations.
Analysis: This isn't the worst possible news for Graham because the reality is that Dunn is a 12-year veteran with nearly 3,000 total touches over his career. He is also 33 years old and has seen his yards per carry and yards per catch dip. Because Dunn isn't a threat to take the starting job away from Graham, the younger, more physical running back remains a decent No. 2 Fantasy RB who will see goal-line touches for the Bucs. Both backs will also benefit from the Bucs' impressive offensive line. Expect to see him drafted between the middle of Round 2 and the start of Round 3.
News: Before 2007, Earnest Graham was known as a preseason phenom who never got much of a chance to play during the regular season (52 career carries in three seasons). But after starter Cadillac Williams got hurt, Graham found playing time -- and made the most of it. Making 10 starts, Graham emerged for 898 yards on 222 carries (4.0 avg.) with 10 touchdowns. He also showed off an impressive receiving skill set, catching 49 balls for 324 yards (6.6 avg.). He also had one fumble, but offset that by owning three 100-yard games and stringing together six consecutive games with at least one touchdown in each.
Analysis: No one is doubting Graham's ability now, but therein lies the problem. What will happen to Graham's role if/when Cadillac Williams returns from his torn patellar tendon? While there's been no encouraging news on Williams in a while, it doesn't mean that Graham will be an every-down machine for the Bucs. Moreover, Graham enters 2008 in a contract year, and while he'll be motivated to play for a new deal, the Bucs might begin to make alternative plans (that could start in April's draft). All that aside, Graham proved to be a terrific versatile runner that helped put the Bucs atop the NFC South. Figure him for a middle-end No. 2 Fantasy RB worth a pick between Rounds 4 and 6 in this summer's drafts.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham (ankle) was inactivated for Week 17 vs. Carolina with the team looking to keep him healthy for their playoff run.
Analysis: Graham and the Bucs are locked in to playing the Giants in the first round of the playoffs and at least we know he'll be fresh and ready to go for that matchup. He'll be useful in playoff leagues for at least one week.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham (ankle) didn't practice at all Thursday or Friday as the team prepares for its Week 17 game against the Panthers. The team has officially listed him as questionable for the contest.
Analysis: With their playoff seeding already decided, the Buccaneers might choose not to use Graham at all. Even if they do use him, they won't use him much. You can wait to see if he lands on the inactive list Sunday, but you run a risk by starting him either way.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham (ankle) didn't practice at all Thursday after taking limited reps Wednesday as the team prepares for its Week 17 game against the Panthers.
Analysis: Coach Jon Gruden has already hinted that he'll rest Graham and most of his key starters in the finale, and this injury will likely only motivate him further. If you have even a decent substitute on your bench, you should probably bench Graham this week, regardless of his injury status.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham (ankle) took limited reps in practice Wednesday as the team prepares for its Week 17 game against the Panthers.
Analysis: Coach Jon Gruden has already hinted that he'll rest Graham and most of his key starters in the finale, and this injury will likely only motivate him further. If you have even a decent substitute on your bench, you should probably bench Graham this week, regardless of his injury status.
News: Coach Jon Gruden isn't second-guessing resting key players for the last two weeks of the regular season in hopes of keeping them healthy for the playoffs. Reserve receiver Maurice Stovall broke his right arm during the first half of Sunday's 21-19 loss at San Francisco. That was more than enough to convince Gruden he's taking the correct approach. Quarterback Jeff Garcia played less than a half, 1,000-yard receiver Joey Galloway left the game after aggravating a shoulder injury on his only catch, and the Bucs played most of the second half without a majority of regulars on defense. That was Gruden's plan all along, and he likely will stick with it through next Sunday's finale against Carolina.
Analysis: Fantasy owners of Garcia, Galloway and Earnest Graham are going to get burned in Week 17 as they'll be out of action for a large chunk of the game. That lends Fantasy status to QB Luke McCown and RB Michael Pittman, both of whom are expected to see some time. Ultimately, relying on any Buc in Week 17 -- including their DST -- is a risky proposition.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham had nine carries for 21 yards Sunday at San Francisco and caught two passes for 11 yards. He only played the first half with the Bucs taking out most of their starters in preparation for the playoffs.
Analysis: Graham had scored a touchdown in six-straight games coming into this week. He will likely not play much in Week 17 against Carolina so you might want to consider benching Graham next week.
News: In his past six games, Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham has 547 yards rushing and seven touchdowns and 23 catches for 150 yards. He's taken over for the injured Cadillac Williams and Michael Pittman and hasn't looked back. Now he faces the 49ers, who have allowed 119 yards rushing per game and nine touchdowns this season.
Analysis: Look for Graham's hot streak to continue this week. Start him as a No. 1 Fantasy option in all leagues.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham continues to start and the former Florida Gator continues to rack up touchdowns. Graham, a fourth-year pro, scored a rushing touchdown of the sixth consecutive game Week 15 against the Falcons. Graham rushed 22 times for 79 yards and found the end zone on a 1-yard score in the second quarter. He now has seven rushing touchdowns in his last six games. He also led the team in receiving with five catches for 40 yards.
Analysis: Graham has been a real Fantasy find ever since the Bucs entrusted him to be their every down back. He is having one of the best second halfs for an NFLer this season and has emerged as a reliable No. 1 Fantasy RB. The Bucs play the 49ers in Week 16. San Fran has a poor run defense and you would be a fool to bench Graham.
News: With a short week for the Falcons, who are in disarray following the Michael Vick situation and the resignation of coach Bobby Petrino, Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham should shine. He already had 102 yards rushing and a touchdown against the Falcons in Week 11 and is on a tear recently. Graham has 468 yards rushing and six touchdowns in his past five games with a touchdown in each outing. Atlanta is No. 27 in run defense with nine touchdowns allowed, and Graham will have another good performance this week.
Analysis: Start Graham in all leagues and consider him a No. 1 Fantasy option in Week 15 against the Falcons.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham ran for 61 yards and two touchdowns and caught six passes for 45 yards in Tampa Bay's 28-14 loss to the Houston Texans in Week 14. He averaged 4.1 yards a carry on the day and now has touchdowns in five consecutive games.
Analysis: Graham's stats were accrued in basically three quarters as he only touched the ball twice in the fourth with the Bucs trying to come from behind. He should be a good start in Week 15 against the Falcons.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham's fantastic streak continued last week at New Orleans with 106 yards rushing and a touchdown. He now has three 100-yard games in his past four and has scored a touchdown in four-consecutive games. The Texans, who Graham will face in Week 14, have struggled against the run this year and come into this game ranked No. 25 with 11 rushing touchdowns allowed.
Analysis: Graham has done well against favorable matchups, and he should do well again this week. Consider Graham a No. 1 Fantasy option against Houston.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham managed his third 100-yard rushing performance in his last four games during a Week 13 win against the Saints. Graham rushed for 106 yards on 22 carries. He scored on a 25-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. He also had seven receptions for 37 yards.
Analysis: The Bucs thought their season might be lost after losing Cadillac Williams to a knee injury for the season and then Michael Pittman to an ankle injury for a few games. Their world has been turned upside down thanks to Graham. He has rushed for more than 90 yards in four of his last six games and has become the workhorse of the offense. Consider Graham a solid No. 1 Fantasy RB for Week 14 against the Texans.
News: In his past five games, Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham has 594 scrimmage yards (118.8 per game) and three touchdowns. Pretty good numbers for a third-string RB coming into this season. Graham and the Bucs head to New Orleans in Week 13 to face a Saints defense that ranks ninth against the run in 2007.
Analysis: Graham was picked up in a number of leagues earlier this season when Michael Pittman went down, but Pittman was expected to regain his job when he returned. However, Graham has played so well he remains the top dog in Tampa and ranks as a low-end No. 1 Fantasy RB option in Week 13.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham ran 21 times for 75 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for nine yards in Tampa Bay's 19-13 win over the Redskins in Week 12.
Analysis: Graham failed to extend his 100-yard game streak to three games, but still gave his Fantasy owners something to smile about with his performance on Sunday. Graham will remain a nice No. 2 Fantasy RB against at New Orleans in Week 13.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham (ankle) is listed as probable for Week 12 vs. Washington. He went through full practices Thursday and Friday after limited reps Wednesday. Graham has been great in November with consecutive 100-yard games. He has 51 rushes for 226 yards and two touchdowns.
Analysis: Graham might find it hard to run for 100 yards in three straight games as the Redskins sport a solid run defense. Still, it is hard to go against Graham since he has been so good for the Bucs. Consider him a low-end No. 2 Fantasy RB.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham fully participated in practice Thursday. Graham had been bothered with an injured ankle that had forced him to miss some practice time recently. He has not missed any games. Graham topped 100 yards for the second straight game last week and has developed into a good ball carrier for the Bucs. He leads the team with 556 yards rushing and has five TDs.
Analysis: Graham is playing well and should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy RB against Washington (seven rush TDs allowed this year) in Week 12.
News: Tampa Bay RB Earnest Graham was limited in practice on Wednesday with a knee problem, making him a potential question mark for Week 12 vs. the Redskins. Graham topped 100 yards for the second straight game last week and has developed into a good ball carrier for the Bucs. He leads the team with 556 yards rushing and has five TDs. "He has been very good for us, as a runner, as a receiver, as a guy we've relied on. ... I think what he's done the last four or five games speaks for itself," coach Jon Gruden said. "He is the real deal."
Analysis: We'll keep tabs on Graham's status in the coming week, but this injury isn't expected to sideline him at this point. Graham is playing well and should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy RB against Washington (seven rush TDs allowed this year) in Week 12.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham, having to hold off the returning Michael Pittman, did so with flying colors Week 11 at Atlanta. He ran 17 times for 102 yards, including 26 for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. He also caught a six-yard pass.
Analysis: Graham has now posted back-to-back 100-yard games and appears in no danger of losing his job to Pittman. We call him a No. 2 Fantasy RB for Week 12 against the Redskins. You'll probably want to keep him active.
News: Tampa Bay running backs Earnest Graham and Michael Pittman were active after being listed as questionable this week due to ankle injuries. In a surprise, RB Michael Bennett was inactive even though he was not included on the team's last injury report. Bennett, acquired on Oct. 16 in a trade with Kansas City, has played in three games with one start for Tampa Bay. He had five carries for 12 yards against Arizona in Tampa Bay's last game on Nov. 4.
Analysis: Consider Graham a No. 2 Fantasy RB against the Falcons. Pittman is a No. 3 RB at best, but wait and see how he does before putting him back in your lineup.
News: The Bucs are glad to have a healthy Michael Pittman in the backfield, and no one is happier than Earnest Graham, even if it means sharing the workload with Pittman, who missed four games with a sprained right ankle. Graham carried the ball 34 times in his last game, which was six carries more than his personal-best for a season. "It's a big boost," Graham said. "I took 70-something snaps against Arizona. And the best back is a fresh back. With me and (Pittman) complementing each other, it makes us that much more dangerous. I think we're both professionals, and we understand it's not realistic for anybody to carry that load over an NFL season."
Analysis: Even with Pittman back this week against the Falcons, Graham should still be considered a No. 2 Fantasy RB. Graham is battling an injured ankle and went through limited practice reps all week. The injury doesn't appear to be severe at this time, but continue to track his progress leading up to inactives.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham rushed for a career-high 124 yards in Week 9 and has 402 scrimmage yards (278 rush, 124 rec.) and a touchdown in his past three games. He faces an Atlanta run defense in Week 11 that ranks a poor 23rd in the league in yardage allowed, despite holding Carolina to 90 yards last week.
Analysis: The concern for Graham's owners is that Michael Pittman is expected back in Week 11 and he could take some carries away from the former Gator. Another concern is that Graham is also battling an ankle injury. He went through limited practice reps Wednesday and Thursday. The injury doesn't appear to be severe at this time, but continue to track his progress. If healthy, Graham should start for the Bucs. Consider Graham a low-end No. 2 Fantasy RB in Week 11.
News: At Tampa Bay's only practice this week before a few days off for their bye, WR Michael Clayton and Michael Pittman both said Wednesday they would be back on the field in Week 11, according to the St. Petersburg Times.
Analysis: This is great news for Pittman owners, but not so good for Michael Bennett or Earnest Graham owners. As for Clayton, he's only owned in one percent of leagues, so his return won't have much Fantasy impact on his return.
News: Earnest Graham scored on a 2-yard run and had his first 100-yard rushing performance as a pro for the Bucs against Arizona Sunday.
Analysis: Graham, who became the starter because of injuries to Carnell "Cadillac" Williams and Michael Pittman, rushed for 124 yards on 34 carries to help the Bucs offense dominate time of possession. Consider him a definite No. 2 Fantasy RB option most weeks -- except Week 10 because of the Bucs' bye.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham has 265 scrimmage yards in past two games and will look to produce a decent outing at home against the Cardinals in Week 9.
Analysis: The Cardinals run defense ranks 15th in the league, allowing 108.4 yards a game, and Graham is only two games removed from a 191-scrimmage yard outing against the Lions. Consider him a definite No. 2 Fantasy RB option in Week 9.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham rushed 14 times for 62 yards during a Week 8 loss to the Jaguars. His longest gain went for 14 yards. He also had one reception for 12 yards, but failed to find the end zone. Graham had career-highs in rush yards (92), receptions (13) and receiving yards (99) in Week 7 against the Lions.
Analysis: Graham put together another solid week, but it surely wasn't as good as his breakout game against the Lions. The Bucs continue to go to Graham the most with Cadillac Williams (knee) out for the season and Michael Pittman (ankle) sidelined for a few weeks. Treat him as a low-end No. 2 Fantasy RB for Week 9 against the Cardinals.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham had career-highs in rush yards (92), receptions (13) and receiving yards (99) last week and will look to build on that fine performance when Tampa Bay hosts Jacksonville in Week 8.
Analysis: Jacksonville's run defense has been stellar over the last few weeks, and Graham might have an issue in replicating his Week 7 success in Week 8. He is a low-end No. 2 Fantasy RB for Week 8, and might lose carries to Michael Bennett if he can't get things going.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham had 19 carries for 92 yards and caught 13 passes for 99 yards against the Lions.
Analysis: Graham was a huge part of the offense, even with the addition of RB Michael Bennett, who had three carries. Look for Graham to continue playing well in Week 8 against Jacksonville. Consider Graham a No. 2 Fantasy RB.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham, who got the majority of the carries in Week 6, will have backfield company in the form of Michael Bennett in Week 7 as Tampa Bay play at Detroit.
Analysis: Graham was brutal in Week 6, carrying the ball for only 29 yards on 13 carries against the Tennessee Titans. He will likely lose some carries to Bennett against the Lions, who rank 17th against the run, but Graham will probably still get most of the goal-line carries. Consider Graham nothing more than a low-end No. 2 Fantasy RB in Week 7.
News: Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham, expected to carry the load with Cadillac Williams and Michael Pittman on the shelf, ran 13 times for only 29 yards Week 6 against the Titans. He also caught six passes for 17 yards.
Analysis: No, Graham didn't exactly make the most of his opportunity to shine, but he also played the Titans, who entered the game with the third-ranked run defense. The Buccaneers will play a much lessor run defense in Week 7 at Detroit, so give Graham another chance.
News: Tampa Bay's Michael Pittman could be sidelined up to two months with an ankle sprain that has the Buccaneers scrambling for experienced help at running back. Coach Jon Gruden said Monday that the team was waiting for the results of an MRI exam, but that it appeared Pittman, injured during Sunday's 33-14 loss at Indianapolis, will be out six to eight weeks. Pittman, the team's best receiver out of the backfield, replaced Williams as the starter against the Colts and hurt his right ankle when he was tackled by linebacker Tyjuan Hagler midway through the second quarter.
Analysis: With Williams and Pittman out, fourth-year pro Earnest Graham moves into the starting role after spending most of his career as a contributor on special teams. Rookie Kenneth Darby is the backup after beginning the season on the practice squad. Graham is worth a spot in all leagues as a No. 3 Fantasy RB, while Darby could start to see some playing time and be considered a flier. Pittman should either be cut or benched for the long-term. The Bucs host the Titans in Week 6.
News: After totaling three rushing touchdowns in his previous two games, Bucs RB Earnest Graham was shutout Week 5 against the Colts. In fact, he was listed second on the depth chart behind Michael Pittman and didn't see many touches until Pittman left the game with an injury. Graham finished with six carries for 11 yards. He also had two receptions for 18 yards.
Analysis: The Bucs went with veteran Pittman to start the game against the Bucs, but wound up going to Graham because of an injury. Pittman had to be carted off the field and it appears as though Graham might start Week 6 against the Titans, who have one of the best run defenses in the league. Consider Graham nothing more than a No. 3 Fantasy RB or 'flex' option because six teams are on bye weeks.
News: Michael Pittman and Earnest Graham will combine to try and replace the injured Cadillac Williams in the Tampa Bay starting RB position as the Buccaneers play at Indianapolis in Week 5. Who will end up being the man?
Analysis: Pittman obviously has the edge in experience, but Graham has scored three touchdowns in the last two games. We think this platoon situation could see Pittman getting the majority of the carries, but Graham should get most of the action down by the goal line. Both should be considered as No. 3 Fantasy RBs for Week 5 and are half-decent bye-week replacements.
News: With Tampa Bay RB Cadillac Williams going down with a knee injury in the first quarter Sunday at Carolina, Michael Pittman and Earnest Graham split carries almost evenly against the Panthers. Pittman rushed 15 times for 90 yards while Graham had 17 for 48 yards and a touchdown. Graham also caught a pass for eight yards.
Analysis: The news from the Bucs is that Williams' knee injury will have him out for the season. That means it is time to rush to the waiver wire to pick up both Pittman and Graham if possible, with both backs likely to split carries. Graham seems like he'd be the workhorse and is the back that would see the touches down by the goal line. Pittman will get the yards and possibly more catches out of the backfield. Both backs will be worth using as No. 3 backs or 'flex' options in Week 5 at Indianapolis.
News: Bucs coach Jon Gruden downplayed any RB controversy after Earnest Graham's two-touchdown effort vs. St. Louis in Week 3. Despite leaving the game with sore ribs, Cadillac Williams is expected to start at Carolina in Week 4, says Gruden. Graham's role was not specified. "We're going to keep giving (Williams) the ball," Gruden said. "I'm not going to defend him anymore than I have to. I think he's a hell of a back. Obviously he put the ball on the ground. He's had some issues with his ribs. We expect a lot more because of what we've seen him do in the past. That's all I will say about it. I want him to get going again, obviously, and quick because we need him."
Analysis: Graham is expected to continue spelling Williams and may be used as a "closer" in games where the Bucs need to grind down the clock. Ultimately, don't expect significant stats from Graham. He should only be owned in leagues as an insurance policy for Cadillac Williams. The Bucs play at Carolina in Week 4.
News: After the Buccaneers pulled Cadillac Williams from their Week 3 game vs. St. Louis, backup Earnest Graham romped for 75 yards on eight carries with two touchdowns. Williams was pulled with what is believed to be a minor injury, and the Bucs had a nice lead at the time and let Graham finish the game.
Analysis: Graham may be worth a look in deeper leagues and by those owners relying on Cadillac Williams. Otherwise, don't expect him to put up any more touchdowns for a while unless Williams misses significant playing time. The Bucs play at Carolina in Week 4.
News: Bucs RB Earnest Graham rushed one time for two yards during a Week 2 win over the Saints.
Analysis: Graham is currently third on the Bucs' depth chart at running back and likely will only get a few carries a game. He won't produce enough stats to warrant use in Fantasy leagues. Keep him reserved for Week 3 against the Rams.
News: Graham saw a few more touches in Week 1 at Seattle with Carnell Williams (ribs) leaving with an injury. He posted four carries for 11 yards and also had one catch for nine yards in the loss.
Analysis: If Cadillac's injury lingers into Week 2 or beyond, Graham might see a few more touches than usual, but the biggest beneficiary would be veteran Michael Pittman. The Bucs host the Saints in Week 2.
News: Bucs FB Mike Alstott, the most popular player in team history, announced Thursday that he will miss this season because of a neck injury suffered during training camp. At 33, the 11-year vet has likely played his last game but said Thursday he will make a decision at a later date. Now the question looms: who is the next Alstott? Could be running back Michael Pittman. Could be running back Earnest Graham. Both are versatile, and both have spent some time at fullback in the Bucs' offense.
Analysis: Bucs coach Jon Gruden had this to say about Graham earlier in camp: "He can line up in the tailback position or come out of the backfield and line up as a receiver. He's a guy who can play the fullback position. He does a lot for us." Graham likely won't pile up enough stats to warrant heavy use in most Fantasy leagues. He can be ignored on Draft Day.
News: Bucs reserve RB Earnest Graham had 11 carries for 59 yards with a 4-yard catch. He played in all 16 games but only recorded a stat in four games.
Analysis: Graham shouldn't be considered for Fantasy use at this time.

Analysis: None of these players are recommended Fantasy options for Week 16.

Analysis: Despite the fact he led the team in rushing, he is not a recommended Fantasy option for Week 14 against Atlanta.
News: Notable Bucs players who played at Dallas on Thanksgiving in Week 12 include: RB Michael Pittman (2-yard carry, 19 yards receiving), WR Michael Clayton (19 receiving yards), RB Earnest Graham (4-yard catch) and WR Ike Hilliard (3-yard catch).
Analysis: Pittman is nice insurance for Cadillac Williams, but none of these other players are reliable Fantasy options and are fringe players at best. The Bucs play at Pittsburgh in Week 13.
News: Backup QB Tim Rattay, RB Earnest Graham, TE Doug Jolley, TE Dave Moore and WR Maurice Stovall played in Week 11 but did not record any offensive statistics.
Analysis: None of the players mentioned are worth using in standard Fantasy play.

Analysis: Backup QB Tim Rattay also dressed for the game and did not play. None of the players mentioned are worth using in Week 11 against Washington.
News: RB Earnest Graham rushed for 12 yards on two carries against the Saints in Week 9.
Analysis: Graham got his first two carries of the season at the end of the game, when it was already out of reach for the Bucs. He is not a viable Fantasy option.

Analysis: None of these players should be considered for regular use in Fantasy Football leagues.

Analysis: None of these players are worth starting in Fantasy play.
News: Earnest Graham carried 17 times for a team-high 69 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Jets. He also reeled in a pair of receptions for 37 yards.
Analysis: Graham will be challenging for a more prominent role than he has in the past, but he is not expected to get enough reps to warrant Fantasy consideration in most leagues.
News: The Buccaneers have re-signed RB Earnest Graham to a new contract. Graham seldomly played on offense last year but was a contributor as a tackler on special teams. To make room for him, the team released WR Larry Brackins.
Analysis: He doesn't play enough to warrant consideration for any Fantasy Football leagues.

Analysis: Graham may make the team, but he shouldn't make your Fantasy squad.
News: According to the Tampa Tribune, Earnest Graham will replace Mike Alstott (knee) at fullback. "A very good back, a key cog in our attack, is out," coach Jon Gruden said. "Earnest Graham is a guy we need right now. A guy that can carry the ball, stand in there physically, pick up blitzes and a guy who knows our system. We're excited to have him active. We wanted to get him up here in weeks previous, but this is the right time for him."
