Anderson caught a 6-yard TD pass from QB Rex Grossman in the third quarter for the Redskins that tied the score at 27 apiece at the time. The touchdown was the first of the year for Anderson.
Analysis: Anderson now has seven catches for the entire season for 79 yards and the touchdown. Anderson might see some more passes his way going forward with Fred Davis suspended for the season. That said, Anderson is never going to become a viable Fantasy option this season for Washington. He is not a recommended Fantasy start for Week 15 in New York against the Giants.
News: Washington WR David Anderson caught two passes for 21 yards in the Week 13 loss at home to the Jets. Anderson was targeted six times in the passing game by QB Rex Grossman. Anderson could see more action going forward with Fred Davis likely suspended for the final four games of the regular season.
Analysis: Anderson is a wide receiver, but he could see some of the offensive plays designed for Davis for Washington moving forward. For now, however, Anderson has just low-end Fantasy value heading into Week 14 against New England.
News: Washington WR David Anderson caught one pass for 23 yards in the Week 11 overtime loss to the Cowboys. Anderson's one catch was a big one in the overtime period. He was targeted three times in the game overall.
Analysis: Anderson came over from Houston for the Redskins, who badly needed the WR help. Anderson now has two catches for 37 yards in two games for Washington. Anderson is just a fill-in, and is not expected to put up big numbers. Anderson may not even remain on the roster once Santana Moss is healthy and ready to return. Anderson has low-end Fantasy value for Week 12 and is not a recommended Fantasy start at Seattle.
News: Washington WR David Anderson saw his first action with his new team Week 10 at Miami. Anderson caught one pass for 14 yards in the game and was targeted three times by QB Rex Grossman.
Analysis: Anderson came over from Houston for the Redskins, who badly needed the WR help. Anderson was targeted a few times and did get onto the stat sheet. That said, Anderson is not expected to put up big numbers. Anderson may not even remain on the roster once Santana Moss is healthy and ready to return. Anderson has low-end Fantasy value for Week 11 and is not a recommended Fantasy start against the Cowboys.
News: The Redskins signed WR David Anderson on Monday. He was waived by the Texans in October.
Analysis: Anderson played under offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan from 2008 to 2009 and could see some playing time with his new team. But since he has never been a serious Fantasy option, continue to ignore him in the majority of leagues.
News: The Texans waived WR David Anderson on Wednesday. Anderson had one catch for 9 yards this season.
Analysis: Anderson should not have been on any Fantasy rosters prior to being waived. He certainly should not be now.
News: The Houston Chronicle reports the Texans signed free agent WR David Anderson, who was cut by Denver in early September.
Analysis: Anderson played the last five years with Houston, so he knows the offense. His signing signals the Texans are ready to play without WR Kevin Walter, who is sidelined a few weeks with a shoulder injury. Anderson is at the bottom of the depth chart at receiver, so continue to ignore him in Fantasy.
News: WR David Anderson became the first free agent to sign with Denver since training camp opened. Anderson, who went to college at Colorado State, was released Saturday by Houston. He had 11 catches for 117 yards in 12 games with the Texans last season.
Analysis: Anderson spent all five of his seasons in the NFL with Houston after being a fifth-round selection in the 2006 NFL Draft. He amassed 81 receptions with the team, but battled injuries last season. He should continue to be ignored in all Fantasy formats.

News: DE Mario Williams (sports hernia), RG Mike Brisiel (calf) and WR David Anderson (shoulder) suffered injuries in Mondays loss to the Ravens, coach Gary Kubiak said. All three are being evaluated and their status for Week 15 at Tennessee has not been announced.
Analysis: Anderson had a season-high three catches in Week 14 as QB Matt Schaub threw the ball over 60 times. Still, we can't expect that to happen every week. Anderson is far more important to the Texans cause than Fantasy owners. He still has marginal Fantasy appeal.
News: Texans WR David Anderson saw some passes thrown his way in Week 14 against the Ravens. He was targeted for four passes from QB Matt Schaub, catching three for 28 yards in the 34-28 loss.
Analysis: Anderson now has 11 grabs on the year for 117 yards. The fifth-year player out of Colorado State does not pose a ton of Fantasy value down the stretch and should continue to be ignored in all formats heading into Week 15 against the Titans.
News: Texans WR David Anderson -- after missing last week's game with a bad hamstring -- was able to haul in a 17-yard catch against the Eagles in Week 13. QB Matt Schaub only looked his way on that play.
Analysis: Anderson has just eight catches on the season, but at least the hammy issue seems to be behind him. He is not worth owning in Fantasy play at this point unless the team suffers injuries to the WR corps.
News: Texans WR David Anderson couldn't shake off a hamstring injury in time to be active for Week 12 vs. Tennessee.
Analysis: Anderson could have started on Sunday if he was healthy, but it wasn't to be. Anderson is expected to see more opportunities down the stretch, so don't forget about him in very deep formats once he's back on the field.
News: Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Wednesday that WR David Anderson started at the 'Z' wide receiver position in Week 11 and will continue to get opportunities.
Analysis: Anderson got four targets last Sunday, twice the amount that former starter Jacoby Jones got. While Anderson isn't likely to set the Fantasy world on fire any time soon, he's worth keeping an eye on in Week 12 against Tennessee.
News: Texans WR David Anderson surprisingly had more receiving yards than fellow WR Andre Johnson in Week 11 against the Jets. Anderson finished with two catches for 38 yards, while Johnson had four catches for 32 yards. Anderson was targeted four times.
Analysis: Anderson has four catches for 65 yards in his last two games after having three catches for 7 yards in his first eight games. While he is getting more involved on offense, the former Colorado State product isn't about to be a breakout Fantasy star. Leave him on waivers. The Texans play the Titans in Week 12.
News: Texans WR David Anderson had a season-high two catches for 27 yards in Week 10 against the Jaguars. His longest catch went 19 yards. He came into the game with just three catches for 7 yards.
Analysis: Anderson has hung around Houston since 2006, but he is still trying to make his way up the depth chart at receiver. Anderson is far more important to the Texans' cause than Fantasy owners. The Texans play the Jets in Week 11.
News: Texans WR David Anderson had one catch for 6 yards Sunday against Dallas. Anderson now has two catches for 7 yards in his past two games. He is the No. 4 WR for the Texans behind Andre Johnson, Kevin Walter and Jacoby Jones.
Analysis: Anderson has minimal Fantasy value in all scoring leagues. Don't plan on using him in Week 4 at Oakland.
News: Texans WR David Anderson had one catch for just one yard in Week 1. He was targeted two times in the 30-27 victory.
Analysis: Anderson is the No. 4 WR for the Texans. unless his role with the team changes, he can be ignored in Fantasy heading into Week 3 against the Cowboys.
News: Texans WR David Anderson made one catch for 10 yards in a Week 16 win at Miami.
Analysis: Anderson is the No. 4 WR for the Texans and has minimal Fantasy value. Ignore him in all leagues for Week 17 vs. New England.
News: Texans WR David Anderson, who had four catches each of the last two weeks, had five for 34 yards Week 15 at St. Louis. He has less than 50 yards receiving in each of his last four games, though.
Analysis: You clearly can't expect any big plays from Anderson, but he now has some value in deeper points-per-reception leagues. If you need a wide receiver assured of a few catches and nothing more, give him a look for Week 16 at Miami.
News: Houston WR David Anderson caught four passes for 49 yards in the Week 14 win over Seattle. Anderson had a long catch of 27 yards and was the first receiver not named Andre Johnson to catch a pass for the Texans on the day.
Analysis: Unfortunately for the other receivers on the Texans, while Johnson is around, the other grabs will be few and far between. Anderson has been a nice compliment at times but is still not worth using Week 15 at St. Louis.
News: Texans WR David Anderson had four catches for 39 yards Sunday at the Jaguars.
Analysis: Anderson got increased playing time with Jacoby Jones out for this game. Still, Anderson is a low-end Fantasy WR and should not be used in Week 14 against Seattle.

Analysis: Anderson is the No. 4 WR for the Texans and has minimal Fantasy value. Ignore him in all leagues in Week 13 at Jacksonville.

Anderson made a few late grabs on the Texans' final last-ditch drive and ended up with five receptions -- to tie for the team lead -- for 52 yards. He did not score in the game.
Analysis: Anderson has caught at least three passes in three straight games for the Texans but has yet to catch a touchdown pass from QB Matt Schaub. Hes also yet to go for over 52 yards in any game and really only has low-end Fantasy value. He made three catches for 19 yards at Indianapolis in Week 9 and the Texans play the Colts again in Week 12 at home.
News: In the Texans' Week 9 loss at the Colts, WR David Anderson caught three passes for 19 yards.
Analysis: Anderson typically doesn't catch enough passes to warrant Fantasy use. Keep him off rosters. The Texans are on bye in Week 10 and vs. the Titans in Week 11.
News: Houston WR David Anderson easily had his best game of the season Week 8 in a win at Buffalo. Anderson caught three passes to finish second on the team in receiving yards with 51. His previous best on the year was three grabs for 32 yards Week 5 against Arizona.
Analysis: Anderson could see a slight boost in the passing game Week 9 at Indianapolis should tight end Owen Daniels be forced out by the injury he suffered in the Bills game. That said, there is nothing to suggest his boost will make him worth actually using in Fantasy. Leave him on waivers for Week 9.
News: Texans WR David Anderson caught two passes for 10 yards vs. the 49ers in Week 7.
Analysis: He doesn't put up enough stats on a regular basis to warrant Fantasy use. Keep him off of rosters. The Texans play at the Bills in Week 8.
News: Texans WR David Anderson had one catch for 12 yards Sunday at Cincinnati.
Analysis: Anderson has minimal Fantasy value and should not be used in Week 7 against San Francisco.
News: Texans WR David Anderson caught three passes for 32 yards Week 5 at Arizona. He has at least one reception in each of his first five games but had no more than two before Sunday.

News: Texans WR David Anderson caught two passes for 22 yards in Week 4 against Oakland. He was thrown to twice in the game.
Analysis: Anderson is not a featured player in the team's offense. He is not expected to be a useful Fantasy option this season.
News: Houston WR David Anderson made two catches Week 3 against the Jaguars in a 31-24 loss. He gained a total of 13 yards, with a long of 9 yards.
Analysis: Anderson is simply a backup WR with the Texans and is not going to get too many looks over Andre Johnson, Kevin Walter and Owen Daniels. He remains just a low-end option in Fantasy play.
News: Texans WR David Anderson made one catch for seven yards in a Week 2 win over the Titans.
Analysis: Anderson is just a low-end WR on the Texans depth chart and has no Fantasy value heading into Week 3 vs. Jacksonville.
News: Texans WR David Anderson made one catch for 14 yards in a Week 1 loss to the Jets.
Analysis: Anderson moved up to the No. 3 spot with Kevin Walter's absence on Sunday, but he didn't do much with his extra playing time. Continue to ignore him in all Fantasy formats heading into Week 2 at Tennessee.
News: The Houston Texans will keep wide receiver David Anderson after matching a contract offer from the Denver Broncos. The move Wednesday came five days after the Broncos signed Anderson to an offer sheet. Terms of the deal weren't released. Anderson was in the mix behind Pro Bowl receiver Andre Johnson and Kevin Walter, the other starter. He had 19 catches for 241 yards and two touchdowns last season.
Analysis: A seventh-round draft pick in 2006, Anderson has 399 yards and three touchdowns in his three-year career. The Texans might be prompted to use him a little more in 2009, but with no regular playing time promised, he's not worth using in Fantasy play.
News: Houston WR David Anderson was the recipient of a short pass up the middle that he broke for 65 yards that ultimately led to a Kris Brown field goal. It was Anderson's 18th catch of the season and his longest reception by a long shot.
Analysis: Anderson's big gainer was a fluke. Do not pick him up off of waivers because of this one play.
News: WR Andre Davis, QB Sage Rosenfels, RB Ryan Moats, WR Jacoby Jones, TE Clark Harris, WR Darnell Jenkins and WR David Anderson all failed to record a stat Week 16 at Oakland.
Analysis: Rosenfels won't see any playing time so long as Schaub is healthy and the same goes for Moats as long as Slaton is good to go. The rest of these players have little to no value in Fantasy.
News: In the Texans' 13-12 win vs. the Titans in Week 15, WR David Anderson had a 4-yard catch.
Analysis: Anderson doesn't get the ball enough to warrant Fantasy use. Keep him off of rosters. The Texans play at the Raiders in Week 16.
News: Texans WR David Anderson had three catches for 34 yards Sunday at Green Bay.
Analysis: Anderson is a low-end Fantasy WR and should not be used in Week 15 against the Titans.
News: Texans RB Vonta Leach, WR Andre Davis, RB Cecil Sapp, TE Bryan Pittman and WR David Anderson didn't record offensive statistics Week 13 against the Jaguars.

News: Texans WR David Anderson caught just an 11-yard pass Week 12 at Cleveland. He now has 13 catches on the season.
Analysis: Eleven of those 13 catches have come in the last five games, but Anderson still doesn't do enough to make a difference in Fantasy. Leave him on waivers for Week 13 against the Jaguars.
News: Houston WR David Anderson caught two passes very late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's Week 11 loss to the Colts. On the Texans final drive of the game, Sage Rosenfels hit him twice for 26 yards.

Analysis: Anderson doesn't usually contribute so much on offense and should remain on waivers for Week 11 at Indianapolis.
News: Texans WR David Anderson caught two passes for 12 yards in Week 9 at Minnesota, including a 3-yard touchdown pass. He was targeted just the two times.
Analysis: Anderson is not a regular target in the pass offense and should be left on the waiver wire in all Fantasy leagues despite the touchdown.
News: Texans WR David Anderson caught two passes for 28 yards and a touchdown in a Week 8 rout of the Bengals.
Analysis: Anderson is a reserve receiver for the Texans and should not be used in Week 9 at Minnesota, even though he found the end zone on Sunday.
News: Texans RB Vonta Leach, WR Jacoby Jones, WR David Anderson, QB Sage Rosenfels and RB Darius Walker all dressed for Houston's Week 7 win over the Lions, but did not record an offensive stat.
Analysis: As Matt Schaub's capable backup, Rosenfels has some minimal Fantasy value in deeper leagues, but the other four guys should continue to be ignored.
News: Texans WR David Anderson had one catch for 4 yards Sunday against the Colts.
Analysis: Anderson is a reserve receiver for the Texans and should not be used in Week 6 against Miami.
News: The following Texans did not record an offensive stat in Week 4 at Jackonville: QB Sage Rosenfels, RB Darius Walker, TE Joel Dreessen and WR David Anderson.
Analysis: None of the players on this list are going to be in line for considerable playing time anytime soon. Leave them on the waiver wire in all Fantasy leagues until further notice. They've got some depth chart climbing to do.
News: Texans WR Jacoby Jones, TE Joel Dreessen, WR David Anderson, QB Sage Rosenfels and RB Darius Walker all dressed, but failed to record an offensive stat Week 3 at Tennessee.
Analysis: Most of these players either see time on special teams or as reserves for the Texans. They have a marginal role on offense and can be ignored in Fantasy. The Texans play the Jaguars Week 4.
News:The Sports Xchange reports that Texans coach Gary Kubiak plans to continue using David Anderson as the team's slot receiver. Kubiak said Anderson has earned the time. "Coming out of camp, the best thing we had was David inside at the zebra position and he earned the right to play," Kubiak said. "That's how we ended up going into the game."
Analysis: If the Texans can somehow get their offense going against the Ravens in Week 2, Anderson could make a few grabs here and there. Still, he's not effective enough to use in any Fantasy league at this time.
News: Texans FB Vonta Leach and WR David Anderson each made one catch (Leach for 5 yards, Anderson for 2 yards) at Pittsburgh in Week 1.
Analysis: Neither of these players are expected to produce significant stats on a regular basis to begin with. Keep these players off of Fantasy rosters until further notice. The Texans host the Ravens in Week 2.
News: WR David Anderson is fifth on the Texans' depth chart, behind All-Pro Andre Johnson, Kevin Walter, Andre Davis and Jacoby Jones. The team drafted him out of Colorado State in the seventh round in 2006, but had just one reception that year. He was left off the final roster last season but was recalled three weeks later. He caught 12 passes in seven games, including a touchdown before being deactivated for the last five games. Anderson spent the offseason studying the Texans' offense and working on his techniques, and it's worked to his benefit. Anderson caught six passes for 67 yards, including the touchdown, in Houston's preseason opener, a 19-16 win over Denver on Aug. 9. He had three more catches for 61 yards in Saturday's 31-27 win in New Orleans. Anderson has stayed on coach Gary Kubiak's radar mostly with pure effort and Kubiak admits that with every practice, Anderson makes a stronger case for more playing time. "He's become a fine player," Kubiak said. "He's just smart, he understands the game, and has got a lot of confidence. He's an undersized guy so he works well in the slot. Our players just believe in him. He's tough as hell and that helps. I don't know how we can keep him off the field right now."
Analysis: We'd like to see Anderson earn a larger role this season, and it could be as a slot receiver in Houston's offense. Even if he gets in there, he's still going to have a handful of chances to make a play each week since there are so many other receiving options in Houston. For him to be a good Fantasy option, someone will have to get hurt in front of him on the Texans' depth chart. Keep him off rosters for now.
News: Texans WR David Anderson appeared in seven games in 2007 and finished with 12 catches for 131 yards and one touchdown. He was a reserve wide receiver and special teams player for Houston.
Analysis: Anderson has minimal Fantasy value since he's low on the depth chart for the Texans behind Andre Johnson, Kevin Walter, Jacoby Jones and Andre Davis, who is a free agent. Don't plan on using Anderson for any Fantasy leagues in 2008.
News: The Texans inactives for Week 17 against Jacksonville include DB Jamar Fletcher, QB Matt Schaub (3rd QB), DL Anthony Weaver, DL DelJuan Robinson, TE Jeb Putzier and WR David Anderson.
Analysis: Schaub was going to try and be the backup for the Texans, but he will remain inactive again with his shoulder injury. All the other players have minimal Fantasy value and should be kept reserved in all leagues.
News: The Texans inactives for Week 16 at Indianapolis include DB Dexter Wynn, LB Danny Clark, TE Jeb Putzier and WR David Anderson.
Analysis: None of these players have any Fantasy value at this time and should be reserved in all leagues for Week 16.
News: Texans DB Dexter Wynn, LB William Kershaw, TE Jeb Putzier and WR David Anderson have all been ruled inactive for Week 15 vs. Denver.
Analysis: Most of these players serve as reserves or on special teams for the Texans. They have little to no Fantasy value when active. Make sure to keep these players reserved Week 15.
News: Buccaneers QB Jeff Garcia (back), DE Greg Spires (calf), RB Michael Pittman (ankle), RB Lionel Gates (coach's decision), LB Jeremiah Trotter (coach's decision), TE Keith Heinrich (coach's decision) and DT Greg Peterson (coach's decision) were all named inactive for Tampa Bay's Week 14 game at Houston. For the Texans, QB Matt Schaub (shoulder), LB Danny Clark (groin), DB Dexter Wynn (coach's decision), LB William Kershaw (coach's decision) and WR David Robinson (coach's decision) were also named inactive.
Analysis: The big news for the Bucs is that Garcia is inactive and Luke McCown will start in his place at QB. No surprises for the Texans, as Sage Rosenfels will start at QB in place of Matt Schaub as expected.
News: The Texans listed the following players as inactive for Week 13 at Tennessee: DB Dexter Wynn (thigh), RB Ahman Green (knee), LB Danny Clark (groin), TE Jeb Putzier (coach's decision), RB Darius Walker (coach's decision) and WR David Anderson (coach's decision).
Analysis: None of the players on this list are currently in a position to help Fantasy owners. Leave them on the waiver wire until further notice.
News: Texans WR Jacoby Jones, backup QB Sage Rosenfels, TE Mark Bruener, FB Jameel Cook and WR David Anderson all dressed, but failed to record an offensive stat Week 11 against the Texans.
Analysis: Most of these players serve as reserves or see a lot of time on special teams. They are not an integral part of the Texans' offense and can be ignored in Fantasy leagues heading into their Week 12 game at Cleveland.
News: Texans WR Jacoby Jones, TE Joel Dreessen, TE Mark Bruener, WR David Anderson and QB Craig Nall all dressed, but failed to record an offensive stat Week 9 against the Raiders.
Analysis: Most of these players serve as reserves or see a lot of time on special teams. They are not an integral part of the Texans' offense and can be ignored in Fantasy leagues heading into the bye Week 10. The Texans return to action Week 11 against the Saints.
News: Texans WR David Anderson caught three passes for 25 yards Week 8 at San Diego.
Analysis: Anderson sits awfully low on the depth chart and rarely will have games as "good" as Sunday's. Keep him on the waiver wire for Week 9 at Oakland.
News: Texans WR David Anderson caught four passes for 45 yards with a touchdown vs. Tennessee in Week 7. He also had a costly fumble on special teams.
Analysis: Anderson, a rarely used receiver, had his best game as a pro in Week 7. Don't expect it to continue in Week 8 when Houston plays at San Diego.
News: Texans WR David Anderson caught three passes for 33 yards in Week 6 at Jacksonville.
Analysis: Anderson is not a receiver who figures to get thrown to enough to matter in Fantasy leagues. He is not a recommended Fantasy receiver for Week 7 vs. Tennessee, especially with Andre Johnson expected back.
News: Texans RB Jameel Cook, WR Harry Williams, TE Mark Bruener and WR David Anderson did not record any offensive stats in Week 6 at Jacksonville.
Analysis: None of these players are worth owning in Fantasy play at this time. Keep them on the waiver wire until further notice.
News: Texans WRs Kevin Walter (five catches, 67 yards), Andre Davis (four catches, 79 yards), David Anderson (one catch, 19 yards) and FB Vonta Leach (one catch, four yards) all chipped in as Houston edged Miami 22-19 in Week 5.
Analysis: Davis and Walter are definitely worth some consideration if Andre Johnson can't go again in Week 6 when Houston play at Jacksonville, but Anderson and Leach have zero Fantasy value.
News: Texans WR David Anderson caught a nine-yard pass in Week 4 at the Falcons.
Analysis: The Texans signed Anderson earlier this week to add depth with Andre Johnson out. Keep him on the waiver wire for Week 5 against the Dolphins.
News: The Texans signed WR David Anderson and TE Joel Dreessen to add depth with Andre Johnson and rookie Jacoby Jones out with injuries. Anderson, a seventh-round draft pick by Houston in 2006, was released Aug. 31. He appeared in nine games last season with one reception for 27 yards. Dreessen was released Sept. 14.
Analysis: Neither player should be considered Fantasy relevant at this time. The Texans play at Atlanta in Week 4.
News: The Houston Texans released 20 players on Friday, including WR Keenan McCardell. The Texans also released second-year running back Wali Lundy, their starter a year ago, and veteran defensive backs Tyrone Poole and Dexter McCleon. Others cut on Friday were receivers Bethel Johnson and David Anderson, quarterback Jared Zabransky, running back Darius Walker, fullback Jon Abbate, defensive backs John Walker and Brandon Mitchell, defensive linemen Alfred Malone, DelJuan Robinson, Tim Bulman and Victor DeGrate, and linebacker Trent Bray.
Analysis: Zabransky and Walker were stars in college, but might not be cut out for the pro game. Poole and McCleon are past their primes, while the rest of the cut players have made little to no impact in the NFL. Ignore all these players in Fantasy leagues at this time.
News: The Houston Texans re-signed eight players Monday, including defensive back Dexter McCleon. McCleon, a cornerback, appeared in every game for Houston last season and had 28 tackles and one interception. The Texans also re-signed receiver David Anderson, tackle Scott Jackson, tight end Ben Steele, defensive end Earl Cochran and defensive tackles Tim Bulman, Anthony Maddox and Alfred Malone.
Analysis: You'd think there would be a Fantasy star among this group, but there isn't. None of the aforementioned players should be considered in standard Fantasy Football play.
News: Texans backup QB Bradlee Van Pelt, WR David Anderson, WR Kevin Walter and TE Jeb Putzier did not record any offensive statistics in Week 17 vs. Cleveland.

Besides Taylor, the team cut DBs Kevin Garrett and Michael Stone, WR David Anderson and DT Robaire Smith. Analysis: Between Stone, Garrett, Anderson, Alexander, Scott and Ellison, the Fantasy value is nil. Don't add them to rosters at this point.
News: The Houston Chronicle reports the Texans have signed seventh-round draft pick WR David Anderson.
Analysis: Anderson will battle for a roster spot and has no value for Fantasy Footballers.
