Tom Brady the lone full participant for Pats in Thursday's practice

(1/22/2015) Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) was the only full participant in Thursday's practice in preparation for the Super Bowl on Feb. 1 against the Seahawks, according to 710 AM ESPN Radio in Seattle.

Cornerback Brandon Browner (knee), linebacker Dont'a Hightower (shoulder), defensive tackle Chris Jones (elbow), wide receiver Brandon LaFell (shoulder, toe), defensive lineman Sealver Siliga (foot) and center Bryan Stork (knee) were all limited participants.

Brady was never a real threat to miss the contest. He was listed as probable on the injury report due to an ankle injury, but that's been the case all season. Brady will play, and should be 100 percent. 

The team will also have Brandon Browner, Dont'a Hightower and Brandon LaFell. All three players were also listed as probable heading into the contest.

(1/16/2015) As the Patriots gear up for Sunday's AFC Championship game vs. Indianapolis, the team has listed linebacker Dont'a Hightower (shoulder), wide receiver Brandon LaFell (shoulder, toe) and cornerback Brandon Browner (knee) as questionable on the injury report. All three players were limited in practice Friday.

Defensive tackle Chris Jones (elbow) was the only other Patriots' player listed as questionable. Center Bryan Stork has been ruled out due to a knee injury, while quarterback Tom Brady is probable with an ankle injury.

The Patriots are 6 1/2-point favorites for Sunday's game.

New England is a 6.5-point home favorite.

(1/12/2015) Patriots starting cornerback Brandon Browner left the playoff win over the Ravens in the third quarter with a right knee issue, but he proclaimed afterward that he was "feeling great," reports the team's website. Browner did postgame interviews in the locker room, a sign his injury is not serious, the website said.

Browner made three tackles before leaving. In nine regular-season games, he had 25 tackles, six pass breakups and an interception.

(12/28/2014) The Patriots have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's game against the Bills: Dan Connolly, Sebastian Vollmer, Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Jonas Gray, Dont'a Hightower and Brandon Browner.

Gray missed Friday's practice while dealing with an ankle injury and was ruled out for the game. 

Browner (groin) and Hightower (shoulder) were both questionable coming into the contest.

The Patriots have also clinched a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

(12/26/2014) The Patriots listed 18 players on its final injury report for Week 17 against Buffalo. Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) was the only player on the report listed as probable, while running back Jonas Gray (ankle) and cornerback Alfonzo Dennard (hamstring) were ruled out. The rest were deemed questionable.

The others include long snapper Danny Aiken (finger), cornerback Kyle Arrington (hamstring), running back LeGarrette Blount (shoulder), cornerback Brandon Browner (groin), linebacker Jamie Collins, offensive lineman Dan Connolly (knee), wide receiver Julian Edelman (thigh, concussion), offensive lineman Cameron Fleming (ankle), linebacker Dont'a Hightower (shoulder), defensive end Chandler Jones (hip), wide receiver Brandon LaFell (shoulder), defensive end Rob Ninkovich (heel), running back Shane Vereen (ankle), offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer and linebacker Chris White (ankle).

Brady was listed as probable on the team's injury report due to an ankle injury. He was never a candidate to miss the game. The team will also have Brandon Browner , who was also listed as probable.

Dominique Easley, Nate Ebner and Matthew Slater are also active. The three entered the game considered questionable.

Brady was listed as probable on the team's injury report due to an ankle injury. The team will also have Brandon Browner , Jamie Collins, Dont'a Hightower and Devin McCourty for the contest. All four players were also considered probable coming into the game.


Patriots add Vereen to final injury report for Chicago game

(10/24/2014) The Patriots listed 13 players on their final injury report for their Week 8 home game against Chicago. Chandler Jones (hip) is the only player on the list to be ruled out for the game.

Shane Vereen was a late addition to the report because of an illness. He missed practice Friday and was labeled questionable. Dan Connolly (concussion), Dominique Easley (shoulder, knee), Nate Ebner (finger), Cameron Fleming (finger), Matthew Slater (shoulder) and Bryan Stork (concussion) were deemed questionable.

Meanwhile, Tom Brady (ankle), Brandon Browner (ankle), Jamie Collins (thigh), Dont'a Hightower (knee) and Devin McCourty (rib) were all full participants in Friday's practice session and officially ruled probable for Sunday.

(10/6/2014) The Patriots announced Monday they reinstated cornerback Brandon Browner and wide receiver Brian Tyms, who both had their roster exemptions lifted after serving four-game suspensions to begin the season.

To clear two roster spots, the Patriots released defensive lineman Joe Vellano and placed defensive lineman Michael Buchanan on injured reserve.

(10/1/2014) The Patriots reinstated cornerback Brandon Browner and receiver Brian Tyms after they completed their four-game suspensions. They're eligible to play Sunday night against the Bengals, but coach Bill Belichick said he's not sure of their immediate roles.

"Those two players have missed four weeks, four games, but all the practice time as well," Belichick told MassLive.com. "We'll have to see where they are relative to the other players."

The website expects Browner to compete for a starting job opposite Darrelle Revis.

"Revis and Browner coming in there, we’re excited just because we know what they’re able to do. I think our focus now is being able to put it together as a unit, so right now, we’re just working out. We’re just getting to know each other, hanging out, cracking jokes in the locker room. I think this is one of the more fun times of the season when you’re just getting better as a unit."

Browner is set to serve a four-game suspension to start the season. He played just eight games last season with the Seahawks due to the suspension. He finished with 19 tackles and one interception, and has 10 interceptions in 36 career games.

(3/13/2014) Though he has to serve a four-game suspension to start the 2014 season, free-agent defensive back Brandon Browner has not had much trouble finding interested suitors.

Though NFL.com reports that Browner has reached an agreement with the Patriots on a two-year deal, other media sources indicate he is still available. According to ESPN.com, Browner's agent says he is still in negotiations with four teams as of Thursday night

"We aren't even close," agent Peter Schaffer said.

Browner played just eight games last season due to his suspension. He finished with 19 tackles and one interception, and has 10 interceptions in 36 career games.

Browner was initially suspended for a year for violating the league's substance abuse policy, but CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reports the threat of a lawsuit against the league led to the decision to lift his suspension.

Browner is an unrestricted free agent, after recording 10 interceptions in 36 games over three seasons with the Seahawks.
