Analysis: Crosby had some struggles in the regular season but managed his last six field goal attempts over his past four games, including Saturday's playoff loss. Crosby converted 21 of 33 field goals in the regular season, including all 50 of his extra points. Consider him a low-end kicking option in deeper formats come Draft Day next season.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby connected on his lone field-goal attempt and three extra points during Green Bay's 24-10 victory over Minnesota in an NFC Wild Card matchup Saturday night. Crosby booted a 20-yard field goal in the second quarter for his only kick.
Analysis: After some struggles during the middle of the season, including an eight-game stretch with at least one missed field goal, Crosby has steadied his production recently. He is now a perfect 5 for 5 over his past three games to deflect criticism over his job status. But Crosby could have another limited performance in the next round of the playoffs as the Packers face San Francisco's staunch defense that could limited field position.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby had a perfect outing in Week 17 against the Vikings. He made both of his field goals and converted four extra points in the 37-34 loss. Crosby made his field goals from distances of 51 and 40.
Analysis: Crosby has made 21 of 33 field goals so far this season while converting all 50 of his extra points. While he has endured a tough campaign thus far, the 28-year-old benefits from Green Bay's high-scoring offense. Plan on keeping him active in the majority of Fantasy playoff formats for the Packers' first-round matchup against the Vikings.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby has been ruled active for Week 17 against the Vikings. He was limited in practice earlier in the week due to an illness.
Analysis: Crosby has endured a tough campaign thus far, missing 12 of 31 field goals, but has benefited from Green Bay's high scoring offense. The Packers need to win Sunday to earn a first-round bye in the playoffs so they should put up some points. Continue to view Crosby as a viable option in most Fantasy formats for Week 17.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby was a full participant in practice Friday after being limited the day before and missing Wednesday's session due to an illness. He is being considered a probable for Week 17 against the Vikings.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby, who had made only 58.6 percent of his field goals coming into the game, hit both of his field goal attempts -- a 26-yarder and a 48-yarder -- Week 16 against the Titans. The 48-yarder was nearly a miss, glancing off the right upright, but it managed to sneak through. Crosby also had seven extra points on the day.
Analysis: The 13 points were a new season high for Crosby, who has kicked his share of extra points for the Packers. Despite his struggles on field goals, he has put up some decent totals in Fantasy. Still, he's too unreliable to start in most formats.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby made three extra points, but failed to convert both of his field-goal attempts during Green Bay's 21-13 win at Chicago in Week 15. Crosby missed badly on his first attempt, a 43-yard try in the second quarter as the ball sailed wide right once it was lifted off the turf. He also missed a 42-yard attempt in the fourth quarter as the kick nailed the left upright, cementing his second 0-for-2 outing of the year. "We are not changing our kicker, so you can write that down right now," coach Mike McCarthy said after the game. "He is our guy. He needs to make those kicks; he knows that."
Analysis: Crosby has now missed at least one field goal in each of his past eight games and is a woeful 17 for 29 on the season. His inconsistency has also prompted the Packers to attempt more chances on fourth down while on an opponents' side of the field; they went 2 for 2 in Sunday's game. Crosby has just three outings with double-digits in points this year and is viewed as a low-end option for Week 16 against Tennessee.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby turned in a decent performance despite missing his 10th field goal of the season through a moderate snowstorm during Sunday's contest against the Lions in Week 14. Crosby converted kicks from 49 and 41 yards out and drilled three extra points in a 27-20 victory.
Analysis: Crosby has missed at least a field goal in each of his last seven games, but endured some tough weather condition on Sunday night as he had to deal with snow on the field. He has converted 17 of 27 attempts this season and should be considered more of a low-end option heading into Week 15 at Chicago.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby appeared on the verge of losing his starting job Week 13 vs. Minnesota, but a strong second half kept him from the unemployment line. Packers coach Mike McCarthy appeared frustrated with Crosby after he missed a 53-yard field right before halftime, which was his ninth miss of the season, and then he booted the opening kickoff in the second half out of bounds. McCarthy then chose to go for it on 4th-and-7 in the third quarter instead of opting for a 47-yard field goal. But the Vikings called a timeout and McCarthy then sent Crosby out to attempt the field goal. Crosby connected and finished the game with three field goals (30, 31, 47). "We need Mason Crosby," McCarthy said, per the Green Bay Press-Gazette. "He's going to kick game winning field goals for us. I watch him practice, believe in him. That won't change."
Analysis: Crosby added two extra points Sunday and finished with 11 points. He has been under a lot of scrutiny lately because of his misses, but the Packers appear to be standing behind the veteran kicker. "Ive felt back or whatever you want to say for the last few weeks," Crosby said, per ESPN. "I feel good with my process. I feel good with my approach in the game. Theres just been a couple long ones here that havent gone through. I keep making the ones I need to make here inside of 50 yards, and then I just try to squeeze out a couple long ones if those situations come up again. For me, its kick by kick and bounce back from that one right at the end of the half and had a great day." Crosby has just three games this season with 10-plus points, so it's not like he has been great for Fantasy owners. Crosby has the potential to be a reliable Fantasy kicker, but for now he is more of a low-end option heading into Week 14 vs. Detroit.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby wasn't asked to much during Sunday's contest against the Giants in Week 12. Crosby missed a 55-yard kick, but redeemed himself by converting a 28-yard shot in a 38-10 defeat. He also added an extra point on the night.
Analysis: Crosby has been on a bit of a slump as of late as he has missed a field goal for the sixth time in his last seven games. Crosby made his first five attempts of the season, but is now just 7 for his last 15. At this point, he should be considered as a viable Fantasy option in deeper formats heading into Week 13 at home against the Vikings.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby continued to struggle in Week 11 against the Lions, as he missed a field goal for the fifth time in six games. Crosby actually missed twice in the game, from 50 yards and then 38 yards out. He did make his final attempt, from 39 yards, while going 3 for 3 on extra-point attempts in a 24-20 win.
Analysis: Crosby made his first five attempts of the season, but is now just 6 for his last 13. He is still being productive thanks to all of the extra-point attempts, but these misses are hurting Fantasy owners. At this point, Crosby should not be considered a high-end Fantasy kicker for Week 12 against the Giants.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby missed his fifth field goal of the season Week 9 vs. Arizona. Crosby missed his first kick of the day -- a 44-yard field goal attempt on the opening offensive drive for Green Bay. Crosby redeemed himself by kicking a 33-yard field goal in the third quarter. He added four extra points for a seven-point game.
Analysis: Crosby has been in a major funk lately. All five of his misses this season have come in the last five games, including one miss in three straight games. Crosby is far from losing his starting job, but surely no one is happy he keeps missing field goals. Crosby remains a viable Fantasy kicker in all formats because the Packers have one of the best offenses in the NFL. The Packers are on a bye until Week 11 at Detroit.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby missed his fourth field goal of the season Week 8 vs. Jacksonville. Crosby missed on a 32-yard field goal in the second half as he hit the right upright. Crosby did connect from 25 yards out in the fourth quarter and made all three of his extra points.
Analysis: Surprisingly, Crosby has just two games this season with 10-plus points. The Packers are scoring a lot, but they just aren't giving Crosby many field goal chances. The lack of field goal chances is hurting his Fantasy appeal. Crosby is a safe Fantasy play, but no one would blame you for looking to add a kicker that perhaps gets more field goal opportunities on a weekly basis. The Packers host the Cardinals in Week 9.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby, who went without a field goal each of the previous three weeks, nailed three Week 7 at St. Louis -- a 23-yarder, a 47-yarder and a 48-yarder. He also had three extra points. He did miss a field goal at the end of the first half, but it was a 58-yarder.
Analysis: Though Crosby is a modest 8 for 11 on field goals this season, his only misses are from more than 50 yards out. The greater concern is the lack of opportunities, but with the Packers offense coming around in recent weeks, you have to figure he has more in his future. Crosby isn't quite a surefire starter in Fantasy, but he's an advisable play for Week 8 against the Jaguars.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby was not summoned to kick any field goals during Sunday's 42-24 victory over the Texans in Week 6. Crosby did kick six extra points in the winning effort.
Analysis: Crosby has been off to a slow start this season and has only drilled five field goals this season and missed two attempts last week against the Colts. We expect the 28-year-old to start picking up the pace as the season progresses so continue to view him as an elite option at kicker heading into Week 7 at St. Louis.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby, one of the most-owned kickers in Fantasy, missed field goals of 52 and 51 yards on Sunday. He made all three of his extra points.
Analysis: While it stinks that Crosby missed two kicks -- with the roof closed, no less! -- it's not like they were chip shots from 30 yards away. These were the first two field goals that Crosby has missed all year, and he should still be considered an elite option at kicker.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby did not see a ton of action in Week 4 against the Saints. He did not attempt a field goal but converted all four of his PATs in the 28-27 win.
Analysis: Crosby has gotten off to a slow start this season but since he kicks for one of the more potent offenses in the league, he should be able to pick up his production sooner rather than later. Keep the 28-year-old active in the majority of Fantasy formats heading into Week 5 against the Colts.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby accounted for half of the scoring on his team in Week 3 against the Seahawks. He made both of his field goal attempts in the 14-12 loss. Crosby connected on a 29-yarder in the third quarter before nailing one from 40 yards out later in the second half. Green Bay went for two points after their lone touchdown, denying Crosby of an extra point.
Analysis: Crosby has not been his usual productive self so far this season as Green Bay has struggled on offense thus far. His ability to hit field goals from long distances keeps him relevant in Fantasy, however, and the packers should be able to get back on track sooner rather than later. Heading into Week 4 against the Saints, keep Crosby active in the majority of Fantasy formats.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby bounced back from an unusually quiet Week 1 with 11 points Thursday, as he nailed three field goals and a pair of extra-point attempts in a 23-10 win over Chicago. Crosby drilled field goals from 48, 35 and 54 yards to get on the board for the first time this season.
Analysis: The Packers offense has not been exactly what we expected this season, but they should be able to get things going soon. They started to figure things out against the Bears after a rough first half, so that bodes well. Crosby should continue to rack up tons of opportunities moving forward, so Fantasy owners should consider him a strong Fantasy kicker in all formats.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby had a quiet season opener in Week 1 against the 49ers. He did no attempt a field goal and converted just two extra points in the 30-22 loss.
Analysis: Crosby benefited from the Packers' high-scoring offense a year ago but San Francisco limited his opportunities Sunday. Green Bay is expected to rack up a ton of points this season so owners should not get down on the 28-year-old just yet. Heading into Week 2 against the Bears, continue to roll with Crosby in the majority of Fantasy formats.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby did not miss an attempt in Sunday's Divisional Playoff game against the Giants. He made both of his field goals and converted two extra points in the 37-20 loss. Crosby made his attempts from distances of 35 and 47 yards.
Analysis: Crosby has been a productive option in Fantasy since coming to the NFL in 2007 and it doesn't hurt that he kicks for a high-scoring offense either. He has made 50 percent of his attempts from 50-plus yards in his career, and his strong leg negates the whirling winds in Green Bay. He will be a top option in Fantasy again in 2012 so take Crosby as one of the first Fantasy K on Draft Day.
News: Green Bay K Mason Crosby finished 1 for 2 on field-goal attempts and drilled all six extra points during the Packers' 45-41 victory over Detroit in Week 17. Crosby connected on a 22-yard field goal in the first quarter for Green Bay's first points of the game.
Analysis: Crosby has now recorded 649 career points -- the most in NFL history by a player in his first five seasons in the league. He has converted 69 extra points this season will continue to receive plenty of opportunities in the Packers' sterling offense. Consider him a top K option in Fantasy playoff formats.
News: The Packers offense didnt need K Mason Crosbys services in Week 16, as they scored five touchdowns in defeating the Bears 35-21. Crosby attempted no field goals in the game, however he was perfect on his five extra-point attempts.
Analysis: Crosby did not make a field goal for the second week in a row and the fifth time this season. One of the issues with having the kicker of a very good offense is that you have to deal with days when the offense is simply too effective. That may not be a problem in Week 17 against the Lions, as the Packers may sit their starters. That would probably help Crosbys Fantasy value, so Crosby can continue to be looked at as a No. 1 Fantasy K for Week 17 against the Lions.
News: Green Bay K Mason Crosby had a dismal performance in the Week 15 loss at Kansas City. The Packers suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of the Chiefs as Crosby finished with just two points scored in the game. He missed a 54-yard FG and finished 0 for 1. Crosby was 2 for 2 on PATs for his two points scored.
Analysis: Crosby continues to be a solid kicking option for Fantasy owners, though his performance in Week 15 was not sharp. The Packers should rebound and continue to put up loads of points per game going forward as they look to secure home-field advantage in the playoffs. The Packers face the Bears Week 16 and Chicago's defense has been playing well. Green Bay's offense cannot be stopped completely, but a few FGs could be in order against the Bears Week 16. Crosby finished with nine points Week 3 at Chicago as he went 2 for 2 on field goals and 3 for 3 on PATs. Crosby can continue to be looked at as a No. 1 Fantasy K for Week 16 against the Bears.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby had a productive performance in Week 14 against the Raiders. He made all four of his field goal attempts and converted 4 of 5 extra points in the 46-16 win. He had his PAT blocked after a defensive score in the third quarter. Crosby made his field goals from distances of 33, 34, 38 and 49 yards.
Analysis: Crosby continues to benefit from the Packers' high-scoring offense and is now 5 of 6 from field goals from 40-plus yards. He is well-equipped for kicking in cold weather too so he should remain productive down the stretch. With the Chiefs on the schedule for Week 15, continue to roll with Crosby as a solid Fantasy K in all leagues.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby made one of his two field-goal attempts in Week 13 against the Giants. Crosby missed on a 43-yard attempt earlier in the game before hitting the game-winning 31-yarder as time expired. "It's nice to walk off that field and know you put those last points on the board," he said.
Analysis: Crosby had made a team-record 17 straight field goals prior to his miss on Sunday, but still wound up racking up eight points. The 27-year-old remains on of the top scoring kickers in all of Fantasy and usually gets plenty of opportunities kicking for the high-scoring Packers. Owners should continue to roll with Crosby as a No. 1 Fantasy K heading into Week 14 against the Raiders.
News: In the Packers Week 12 win at the Lions, PK Mason Crosby made 2 of 2 field goals and three extra points.
Analysis: Crosby continues to see some good opportunities to hit some field goals while playing for the explosive Packers. It won't stop. Keep him active when he plays at the Giants in Week 13.
News: The Packers were so busy scoring touchdowns in their 35-26 win over the Buccaneers in Week 11, they gave K Mason Crosby few chances to contribute to their victory. Crosby did convert the extra points on all five touchdowns scored, but he was given just a single field goal opportunity. He hit the right upright on the 29-yard attempt late in the fourth quarter, ending a team-record streak of 23 straight successful field goal conversions.
Analysis: It was not a very productive game for Crosby, but this is more of the exception than the rule. As long as the Packers continue to be adept at moving the ball, Crosby will have his chances to help Fantasy owners. Keep him active in Week 12, as he and the Pack will travel to Detroit.
News:Mason Crosby benefited from the Packers scoring a bunch of points in Week 10 against the Vikings. He converted six extra points and also made a 25-yard field goal in the 45-7 win. Crosby has gone a perfect 16 for 16 in field goal attempts so far this season.
Analysis: Crosby continues to be a productive option for Fantasy owners with his big leg and the fact that he kicks for the best-scoring offense in the NFL. Green Bay should be able to rack up the points again in Week 11 against the Buccaneers so keep the 27-year-old active in all Fantasy leagues.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby made his lone field-goal attempt in Week 9 against the Chargers. Corsby connected from 47 yards out in the third quarter, which gave Green Bay a 31-17 lead. He also hit on all six of his extra-point attempts and finished with nine points.
Analysis: Crosby is now 15 for 15 in field-goal attempts this season and remains on of the top scoring kickers in all of Fantasy. Not only does he have the leg to attempt long tries, but he also is the benefactor of kicking for arguably the most potent offense in the NFL. The Packers will continue to give Crosby plenty of chances to score on a weekly basis, which is why he can be considered a No. 1 Fantasy option heading into Week 10 against the Vikings.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby set a new franchise record in Week 7 against the Vikings. He converted all four of his field goal attempts in the 33-27 win, giving him 21 consecutive field goals. He also made three extra points. Crosby connected from 24, 39, 45 and a career-high 58 yards in the victory.
Analysis: Crosby remains one of the better options in Fantasy as he has the leg to made long field goals and benefits from the Packers' potent offense. He is now 14 for 14 in field goals on the year and has showed no signs of slowing down. With Green Bay on a bye next week, consider Crosby as a No. 1 Fantasy K for Week 9 against the Chargers.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby had a quiet game Sunday against St. Louis in Week 6. Crosby was held to one field goal, which he made from 32 yards, and just three extra points.
Analysis: Despite the low-scoring game, Crosby remains a No. 1 Fantasy kicker in all leagues. Look for him to play well in Week 7 at Minnesota, and he should remain active in all formats.
News: Green Bay got most of its points in Week 5 from kicker Mason Crosby. He hit four field goals on the day, connecting from 32, 35, 56 and 30 yards. He also hit both his extra-point attempts in Green Bay's 25-14 win.
Analysis: Green Bay definitely can put the points on the board, and Crosby is proof of that. Whether its' by kicking seven extra-point attempts (he did that in Week 4) or by booting four field goals, Crosby is a No. 1 Fantasy kicker. Owners should continue to view him as such heading into Week 6 when the Packers host the Rams.
News: Green Bay defeated Denver 49-23 on Sunday, scoring seven touchdowns. Kicker Mason Crosby connected on all seven extra-point attempts in the win. He did not attempt a field goal.
Analysis: Crosby also booted a nice looking onside kick, making his conversion rate 30 percent for his career. Despite not attempting a field goal in Week 4 Crosby still produced a nice seven points for Fantasy owners. Green Bay will score plenty of points and Crosby will get his looks one way or another. Continue to view him as a No. 1 K option heading into Week 5 when the Packers face the Falcons.

Crosby kicked a 37-yard field goal in the second quarter and added a 28-yarder in the third for the Packers. He finished 2 for 2 for Green Bay on field goals in the game and added three extra points. Crosby finished with nine total points on the afternoon in Week 3.
Analysis: Crosby continues to be one of the more consistent Fantasy kickers around. The Packers will continue putting up loads of points week in and week out and that will continue translating into plenty of points for Crosby. Fantasy owners should treat Crosby as a No. 1 Fantasy K for Week 4 against Denver. The Packers should have little trouble putting up points against the Broncos.
News: Green Bay K Mason Crosby had a solid afternoon in the Week 2 30-23 win over the Panthers in Carolina. Crosby recorded three field goals in the contest and they all came inside the third quarter. Crosby, who was 3 for 3 on field goals, connected from 19, 34 and 37 yards, respectively. He finished with 12 points as he also went 3 for 3 on extra points.
Analysis: Crosby was not limited in the second half after the offense was held down in the first half on Sunday afternoon at Carolina. Although the Bears in Week 3 pose a stiffer defensive challenge for the Green Bay offense, we believe they will perform much better against the division rivals from the outset. Crosby is the benefactor of the points the Green Bay offense produces, and can continue to be a starting option in most Fantasy leagues for Week 3 at Chicago.
News: Green Bay K Mason Crosby connected on all six of his extra-point attempts during the Packers' 42-34 Week 1 victory over New Orleans on Thursday night. Crosby did not attempt a field goal as Green Bay reeled off four scoring drives in the first half alone.
Analysis: With the Packers' offense performing in high gear, Crosby wasn't on the field much. Last season, the 27-year-old didn't attempt a field goal in two games and could match that mark this season also. Still, he should be viewed as a top Fantasy option for Week 2 at Carolina.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby was fine for Saturday's preseason opener at Cleveland despite dealing with an ankle injury. Crosby made his lone field goal from 31 yards and connected on two extra points.
Analysis: Crosby should be fine for the start of the season, and he remains a No. 1 Fantasy kicker in all leagues. He is worth drafting as your starter with a late-round pick in all leagues.
News: Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that kicker Mason Crosby has a sprained ankle, but he is hopeful he will play during Saturday's preseason game against the Browns.
Analysis: Even if Crosby is unavailable on Saturday, it's not a big deal. It's the first preseason game and he has plenty of time to recover. Crosby just signed a five-year deal and should continue to see plenty of scoring chances in Green Bay. Consider him a viable No. 1 Fantasy kicker worth drafting in the late rounds.
News: According to ESPN, K Mason Crosby has agreed to terms with the Packers on a 5-year deal. Crosby was an unrestricted free agent.
Analysis: We never expected Crosby to leave Green Bay. Even though he has a career field-goal accuracy of 78.1 percent, he still kicks for one of the best offenses in the NFL. He is worth drafting with a last-round pick as a No. 1 option in all leagues.
News: The Green Bay Press-Gazette speculates that the Packers will bring back unrestricted free agent Mason Crosby in 2011. The report says that signing Mason "probably is at the top of the Packers priority list." Crosby has missed more kicks than his talent would warrant his 78.1 percent career field-goal accuracy is under the 80 percent minimum teams shoot for but hes only 26, has a live leg and functions fine in a bad kicking climate.
Analysis: We expect Crosby to return to the Packers, but continue to monitor what develops in free agency once the lockout ends. Crosby remains a No. 1 kicker in all Fantasy leagues if he stays in Green Bay and would be worth drafting with a final-round selection in all formats.
News: Green Bay kicker Mason Crosby was perfect in the Packers' 31-25 victory over Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XLV, connecting on his lone field-goal attempt and four extra-point tries. Crosby, who did not attempt a field goal in the NFC Championship against Chicago, booted a 23-yard field goal with 2:07 remaining in the fourth quarter to cap Green Bay's scoring.
Analysis: Crosby did not get much work during the postseason and finished with just three field goals in four games as the Packers' offense racked up at least 21 points in every round. However, Crosby did finish with 16 extra points as he maintained his reliability into the playoffs. Fantasy owners should consider him one of the first kickers selected in 2011 Fantasy drafts.
News: Green Bay K Mason Crosby connected on three extra-point attempts to lead the Packers to a 21-14 victory over Chicago in the NFC Championship game on Sunday. He did not attempt a field goal for the second time in three playoff games and the fourth time this season.
Analysis: It was a quiet day for Crosby, who remains one of the best Fantasy kickers in the game. He has totaled an impressive 12 extra points this postseason as the Green Bay defense continues to post several points. Consider utilizing him in playoff challenges for the Packers' Super Bowl matchup against a tough Pittsburgh defense and one of the first kickers selected in 2011 Fantasy drafts.
News: The Packers dismantled the Falcons so bad in Saturday's Divisional Playoff matchup, that even Green Bay K Mason Crosby put in two-touchdowns worth of points. He made 2 of the three field goals he attempted on the night, connecting from 43 yards and 32 yards out, respectively. Crosby was unable to connect on a 50-yarder in the second half, that hit the left upright. However, he converted all six of his extra points attempts to finish with 12 points.
Analysis: Crosby was outscored by only Aaron Rodgers in Saturday's 48-21 blowout win. He continues to be a reliable option for Green Bay. Crosby is among the elite kickers in Fantasy play, so he should be regarded as such in Fantasy Playoff Challenges. Heading into 2011, he should again be handling the kicking duty for the Pack, which should make him one of the first kickers to go off of the board on Draft Day.
News: Green Bay K Mason Crosby tallied three extra-point attempts in the Packers' 21-16 victory over Philadelphia in an NFC Wild Card matchup on Sunday. Crosby did not attempt a field goal for just the third time this season as Green Bay displayed tremendous ball control throughout the game.
Analysis: It was a quiet day for Crosby, who remains one of the best Fantasy kickers in the game. Unlike his kicker counterpart David Akers, Crosby didn't have to battle the unfavorable windy conditions and booted three extra-points for the third time this season. Consider utilizing him in playoff challenges for as long as the Packers are in the postseason.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby did not receive many opportunities in Week 17 against the Bears. He made one field goal from 23 yards and converted his lone PAT, finishing with four points in the 10-3 win.
Analysis: Crosby had a down season but still finished 22 of 28 in field goal attempts and a perfect 46 for 46 in PATs. Kicking for the high-scoring Packers, he is usually a solid source for points on a weekly basis. Crosby remains one of the NFL's most reliable kickers and should be considered a No. 1 Fantasy K in all formats in 2011.
News: Green Bay kicker Mason Crosby tallied six extra-points in a game for the second time this season during the Packers' 45-17 rout of the Giants in Week 16 on Saturday. Crosby also added a 31-yard field goal in the third quarter to complete his perfect day.
Analysis: Crosby remains one of the NFL's most reliable kickers and narrowly missed reaching double digits in Fantasy points for the third time this season. With Green Bay averaging nearly 25 points per game, Crosby will see plenty of work and should remain active in all Fantasy formats for Week 17 against Chicago.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby was able to rack up a solid nine points in the Week 15 loss to the Patriots. He connected on both field goals he attempted on the night -- from 31 yards and 19 yards out. Crosby nailed all three extra points he tried as well.
Analysis: Crosby has been one of the game's best kickers over the past couple of seasons. This year, he has not managed to rack up as many points as in recent years, but he's still a respectable Fantasy option who should remain active for the Week 16 game against the Giants.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby succeeded at the one job he was given in Week 14. He converted a 42-yard field goal attempt in the third quarter, giving Green Bay its only score in a 7-3 loss to Detroit.
Analysis: Crosby wasn't productive in Week 14, but through no fault of his own. The Packers' offense isn't normally so punchless, though QB Aaron Rogers' removal due to a concussion played a role in the offensive shortcomings. Even if Rogers is out in Week 15 at New England, Crosby is worth a start in nearly all formats.
News: Things started pretty hairy for Green Bay K Mason Crosby on Sunday of Week 13 against the 49ers. Crosby got things started by missing a 29-yard field goal attempt in the first quarter that would have tied the game at 3-3. He ultimately regrouped and finished 2 for 3 on field goals as the Packers won easily, 34-16. Crosby connected from 43 yards and 24 yards, both in the fourth quarter. He finished the game with 10 points as he went 4 for 4 on PATs.
Analysis: Crosby may have missed the chip shot early in the game, but he got into double-digits in Fantasy points for the first time since Week 2 of the year. Crosby hasn't been in double figures a lot, but he has been as consistent as they come for the Packers. Continue to roll with him in Week 14 in Detroit.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby, who kicked multiple field goals in five of his first eight games, had only one -- a 22-yarder -- for the third straight game Week 12 at Atlanta. He also had two extra points. His five points were his fewest since Week 7 against the Vikings.
Analysis: The Packers have an explosive offense, making Crosby an advisable Fantasy option more often than not. But because the Packers are so one-dimensional, they'll occasionally have a matchup that gives them trouble, leading to minimal contributions from Crosby. That's pretty much what happened to him against the Falcons on Sunday. You should continue to think of him as a No. 1 Fantasy K against the 49ers in Week 13.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby kicked a 42-yard field goal and four extra points in a Week 11 rout of the Vikings.
Analysis: The Packers have almost too good of an offense for Crosby, as he has only reached double digits once this season, back in Week 2. He does have three nine-point weeks though, and will get to kick indoors in Week 12 against the Falcons, who might be able to slow Green Bay down. Continue to use Crosby in all Fantasy formats.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby is looking forward to two straight indoor games so he can improve on his 72 percent success rate. He wants to be at 80 percent. "These next two will be good, especially coming off the bye week," Crosby said of kicking inside. "I'll be a little fresher. I want to finish November off right." The Packers take on the Vikings in Week 11.
Analysis: Crosby is decent when called-upon for the Pack, but lately he has kicked many more extra points than field goals which is good for Green Bay, but not for Crosby's Fantasy value. Still, he is worth starting in all Fantasy formats against the Vikings in Week 11.
News: For the second straight week, Packers K Mason Crosby helped the Packers win by chipping in nine points. In Week 8, he did it by nailing three field-goals. In Week 9 against the Cowboys, he did it by hitting 6 of 6 extra points and converting on a 26-yard FG in the fourth quarter. Crosby also had one attempt blocked in the first quarter, when Cowboys DL Jay Ratliff got his hand on the kick.
Analysis: Crosby has been on-the-money when the Packers have called upon him, but like Sunday night, Green Bay has racked up plenty of XPs instead of FG attempts. Still, he is worth starting in all Fantasy formats against the Vikings in Week 11against the Vkings, after the Packers come back from their bye week.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby, who had yet to kick more than two field goals in a game this season, scored all nine of his team's points Week 8 at the Jets, kicking three field goals in four attempts. He connected from 20, 40 and 41 yards out. His miss was from 45 yards out.
Analysis: Crosby has been a little inconsistent this year for Fantasy purposes, in part because the Packers have been scoring touchdowns instead of field goals. Still, because he plays for a high-scoring offense, you can rest assured he won't disappear on you. Keep him active as a No. 1 Fantasy kicker against the Cowboys in Week 9.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby did not attempt a field goal in the Week 7 win over the Vikings. He only saw the field after four Packer touchdowns, nailing all of the extra points.

Continue to view Crosby as a No. 1 Fantasy K in Week 8 when the Packers play the Jets.

He also added on extra point.
Analysis: Crosby remains an elite Fantasy kicker and is worth using in all leagues. But the Packers offense could take a hit in Week 6 against the Dolphins if Aaron Rodgers (concussion) and Jermichael Finley (hamstring) are out. We would still consider Crosby a No. 1 Fantasy option in all leagues, but he might not get the point total you expect if the starting QB and TE are out. Keep an eye on what develops with the Packers heading into the matchup with the Dolphins.

Analysis: Crosby's season got off to a great start, as he totaled 19 points in his first two games. He has since managed just nine points in his last two games. Even the best offenses endure scoring slumps. The Packers should rebound and continue to give Crosby ample scoring chances. Keep him active in all Fantasy formats heading into Week 5. The Packers travel to Washington.
News: Packers K Mason Crosby saw a couple of chances in Week 3 against the Bears. He made both of his extra point attempts and nailed a 38-yard field goal in the second quarter. But in the second half, Crosby had his 37-yard field-goal attempt blocked by DE Julius Peppers. He finished with five points in the 20-17 loss.
Analysis: Crosby entered Week 3 having gone a perfect 4 for 4 in field goal attempts and extended that streak to five before having his last try blocked. Fantasy owners should not let that worry them as the ultra-athletic Peppers has blocked 10 field goals in his career. Crosby remains an elite Fantasy K and should see ample opportunities this season with the Packers high-scoring offense. Continue to view the former Buffalo as a high-end option and a must start for Week 4 against the Lions.

Analysis: Crosby did what the Packers and Fantasy owners have grown accustom to -- his dependability. Granted he did miss nine field goals in 2009, but no one is perfect. With Green Bay hosting Buffalo next week, the Packers offense could explode giving Crosby plenty of chances to kick. Keep him active as he is a solid No. 1 Fantasy kicker.
News: After starting camp slowly, Mason Crosby has made 13-straight kicks and 21 of his last 23 (91.3 percent). I thought Mason had a nice night, coach Mike McCarthy said of the 6-for-6 performance on Thursday. I just think it helps when you have regularity in your operation (holders).
Analysis: Crosby missed a career-high nine field goals in 2009. He has never missed a kick in the regular season from 29 yards or shorter, but he really struggles from 40 yards or longer. Despite that the Packers have said they are sticking with him. Crosby is still being taken as the third-highest kicker in CBSSports.com Fantasy Football leagues, so clearly owners aren't worried about his long-distance struggles. Continue to draft Crosby as a solid No. 1 Fantasy kicker.

"He's done a good job in the offseason. He's outstanding in the strength and conditioning aspect of it. Very technical, he's a professional from that standpoint, and we look for him to have a very productive year."
Analysis: We expect Crosby to bounce back, and he should be considered a No. 1 Fantasy option based on his leg and the strength of the Packers' offense. Crosby is worth a late-round pick in all leagues in 2010.
News: Packers kicker Mason Crosby has one goal for this season: Just make kicks. That's the mantra he's using, reports the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Crosby struggled last year and hopes to regain the form that made him a weapon for the Packers during his first two years in the NFL. "I think at times last year I put a little added pressure on myself to make kicks and be a certain percentage," Crosby said. "Instead, let's just go out there and focus on putting the ball through the uprights. I have all the ability, so let's just make kicks." Crosby and special teams coordinator Shawn Slocum have examined every kick Crosby hit last season, when he made 27 of 36 field goals but had a four-game stretch late in the regular season in which he missed a kick in every game. All of those misses were from 43 yards or less. Though Crosby was fourth in the NFL in scoring among kickers with 129 points, his field-goal conversion rate of 75 percent was fourth-lowest among the league's top 25 kickers in terms of scoring. Four more of his misses last season were from 50-plus yards.
Analysis: We expect Crosby to bounce back, and he should be considered a No. 1 Fantasy option. Crosby is worth a late-round pick in all leagues in 2010.

News: In the Packers Week 14 win at the Bears, PK Mason Crosby made 2 of 3 field goals and an extra point.

Crosby missed from 38 yards out to begin the 4th quarter but finished 2 of 3 in the game with a long of 32 yards. He went 3 for 3 on PATs and finished with nine points in the Monday night win.
Analysis: The Packers can score with the best teams in the NFL and for that, Crosby deserves to be a solid Fantasy option in any league. He managed seven points on 2 of 3 field goals against the Bears in Week 1. He has missed seven times this season, including once in Week 13, but against those Bears in Chicago in Week 14, we like Crosby as a solid option in any league for that game.

News: Packers K Mason Crosby, who scored only four points last week at Tampa Bay, scored only five Week 10 against Cowboys. He made 1 of 2 field goals, hitting a 48-yarder, and made two extra points.
Analysis: Crosby had been one of the higher-scoring kickers in Fantasy before this two-game stretch, which makes sense since the Packers have one of the higher-scoring offenses in football. He and they should rebound to a degree Week 11 against the 49ers. He remains a No. 1 Fantasy option.

Analysis: Crosby missed for the first time since Week 2 but in his defense, it would have been his long on the season had he made it. Crosby plays for a team that puts up solid points and against a tough Minnesota defense at home in Week 8, the Packers might have to turn to Crosby early and often for points. We like Crosby as a solid Fantasy kicker Week 8.

News: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports Packers kicker Mason Crosby has set a goal of making at least 90 percent of his field goal attempts in 2009. In the Packers' 90-year history, only Jan Stenerud in 1981 eclipsed the 90 percent barrier (91.7). Ryan Longwell passed 85 percent four other times, with a high of 88.5 in 2003. In Crosby's first two years in the NFL, he's made 58-of-73 kicks for a rather mediocre mark of 79.5 percent. Making Crosby's goal even harder to attain is that Lambeau Field is one of the tougher places in the NFL to kick. But Crosby is aiming high, with hopes of becoming one of the game's elite kickers. "I never shoot to be a guy in the middle of the pack," said Crosby, who led the NFL in scoring as a rookie with 141 points. "This is an important year for me and for this team, and we just have to do our best to turn things around. I'm excited about where I'm at, and optimistic I can hit 90 percent. That's what we're going for and that's very attainable. I feel confident in how I'm hitting the ball right now, and the operation we've got going here."

After last weekend's loss, it's the last chance for the Packers to regain momentum going into the playoffs. "How it will unfold during the game, that has not been decided. I'm clearly not happy with the way we performed (at Chicago)," McCarthy said. "So it's important to get back on the field and get going as far as playing to the level that we need to play. And, also with the fact that we won't play for another week, I want to make sure we stay sharp. We need to clean up a lot of things fundamentally just off of our last contest, and that will be our focus as we go through the week and have the opportunity to go out and compete and win the game against Detroit."
Analysis: Figure that the Packers' starters will play at least a half, if not three quarters against a beleaguered Lions defense. That boosts the Fantasy value of Brett Favre, Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, Donald Lee, Mason Crosby, the Packers DST and especially Ryan Grant headed into Week 17. All all of those players are worth serious consideration even though there's no guarantee they'll play the entire game.

Crosby has kicked 24 field goals this season and has five games of 10 or more points. He has come close a handful of other times as well. The Packers are giving the rookie plenty of chances to score and he is making the most of his opportunities. He remains a viable Fantasy kicker heading into Week 14 against the Raiders.

News: The Packers should be able to move the ball against the Giants this week and put up points, but you should be concerned about K Mason Crosby in his first road game. He had a great debut in Week 1 against the Eagles, going 3-of-3 with a long of 53 and hitting the game-winner at the end of regulation. But Giants Stadium can be a tricky place for kickers, so he might be the only Green Bay player worth reserving this week.

News: Dave Rayner and Mason Crosby have yet to be fazed by inordinate scrutiny devoted to their showdown for the Packers kicking job. Both had attempted more than 60 field goals in team periods after only 10 days of training camp but weren't any worse for the wear in the first preseason game Aug. 11 at Pittsburgh. Rayner put the Packers on the scoreboard with a 32-yard field goal to end the first half. Crosby, a rookie drafted in the sixth round, answered with a 52-yard conversion late in the third quarter. "We're probably wearing them out a little bit, kicking them too much," head coach Mike McCarthy conceded. "We want to make sure we give them both a chance to win the job. They're both talented. They're both strong-legged. I'm glad they're both here." The two combatants also are neck-and-neck with their kickoffs. Rayner reached the end zone twice in the game and had one touchback, while Crosby's only kickoff resulted in a touchback.

News: The Packers kept PK Dave Rayner from last year's team and also drafted PK Mason Crosby in the sixth round of the 2007 draft. The club will have both of these players fight for the placekicker's job in training camp. The two got started on their battle in a June minicamp where Rayner was rusty early, but then made 14-of-15 tries, some as far as 55 yards, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "I just need to kick. A lot," Rayner said. "I am not in kicking shape at all, which is kind of expected. But I am not worried about anything. Not happy about it but it is something that is definitely correctable."

News: Aside from first-round pick DT Justin Harrell and second-round pick RB Brandon Jackson, the Packers' 2007 draft class includes: San Jose St. WR James Jones, Virginia Tech SS Aaron Rouse, Missouri Southern St. OT Allen Barbre, Virginia Tech WR David Clowney, Boise State LB Korey Hall, Cal LB Desmond Bishop, Colorado PK Mason Crosby, Florida RB DeShawn Wynn and Rutgers TE Clark Harris.
Analysis: Jones has size but is more of a possession receiver than a deep threat; it will be a longshot for him to become popular in Fantasy play. Clowney is a speed receiver who doesn't have bulk or can go across the middle -- look for the Packers to use him as a situational option. Rouse has terrific size (6-foot-4) and speed (4.55 in the 40-yard dash) but is not a great pass defender. The Packers may try moving Rouse to linebacker, which would be a good move for him (think late-round steal in dynasty league play). Crosby will be worth a look as a bye-week kicking replacement if he earns the top job. Wynn is worth a look as a late-round flier in the deepest of leagues because of his running technique, not necessarily his speed. The rest of the class will provide depth for the Lions and compete for spots along the depth chart.
