Huff had $3.65 million in non-guaranteed money on his base salary over the next two seasons. He had been signed to a three-year deal in March after having been released by Oakland.

Ravens report 'very questionable'

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(10/11/2013) The Ravens have 12 players on their Friday injury report, but only one listed as doubtful for the Sunday clash against the Packers - little-used nose tackle Terrence Cody (neck). The others are questionable.

Among them are defensive players cornerback Chykie Brown (thigh), free safety Michael Huff (back), linebacker Albert McClellan (shoulder) and tackles Haloti Ngata (hip) and Marcus Spears (knee).

Offensive players deemed questionable are wide receivers Jacoby Jones (knee), Brandon Stokley (thigh) and Marlon Brown (thigh), center Ryan Jensen (foot), guard Kelechi Osemele (back) and running back Bernard Pierce (knee).

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com

Ravens sign Huff

by Jamey Eisenberg | Senior Fantasy Writer
(3/27/2013) The Baltimore Sun reports the Ravens continued the renovation of their defense on Wednesday, signing former Raiders safety Michael Huff to a three-year deal worth $6 million. Huff played a few different positions in the secondary during his six seasons in Oakland, including both safety spots and an inside cornerback in sub packages. He eventually settled in as the starting free safety. But last season, they were forced to move him to cornerback due to injuries at that position. Make no mistake, though, Huff is with the Ravens to replace Ed Reed at free safety. The report says, "at the very least, Huff should be as solid as Reed would have been in coverage, though he does not have the same kind of instincts that the old ballhawk has."

by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(3/13/2013) The Raiders announced the release of safety Michael Huff. He spent seven seasons with the team, posting over 80 tackles twice in that span. He also totaled 11 interceptions with them.
