Evan Mathis takes Jahri Evans' spot on Pro Bowl roster

(1/7/2015) Eagles guard Evan Mathis was named to the Pro Bowl on Wednesday as a replacement for Saints guard Jahri Evans, who won't be able to play due to injury. It's the second straight year Mathis has been a Pro Bowler.

Eagles' probables cleared to face Panthers

(11/10/2014) Most of the Eagles who were probable on the injury report are active for Monday's game against the Panthers. The list includes center Jason Kelce (hernia), guard Evan Mathis (knee), safety Nate Allen (hamstring), linebacker Mychal Kendricks (calf) and wideout Brad Smith (groin).

Eagles mostly healthy heading into Monday night

(11/8/2014) The Eagles are expected to be without just one player in Monday night's Week 10 matchup with the Panthers.

Quarterback Nick Foles (collarbone) has already been ruled out and will miss several weeks while recovering from his injury, but every other player on the team's injury report is probable to play Monday. That list includes wide receivers Brad Smith (groin) and Jeff Maehl (foot), offensive linemen Evan Mathis (knee) and Jason Kelce (hernia), linebacker Mychal Kendricks (calf) and defensive backs Nate Allen (hamstring) and Nolan Carroll (groin).


Eagles place three on IR Tuesday

(9/9/2014) The Eagles placed offensive lineman Allen Barbre (ankle) and linebacker Najee Goode (pectoral) on injured reserve Tuesday. Guard Evan Mathis (knee) was also placed on injured reserve with a designation to return.

Three Eagles named to All Pro team

(1/3/2014) Eagles RB LeSean McCoy, OL Evan Mathis and OL Jason Peters have been named to the All Pro team.

McCoy was recently named the NFC Player of the Month, and led the league in rushing yards. Both Mathis and Peters started 16 games for the club this season.

All but Mathis practiced in full each day this week. Mathis did not practice Thursday, but returned in full by Friday.
