(6/25/2014) The Cowboys signed former Jaguars guard Uche Nwaneri, reports ESPN.com. Nwaneri, 30, started 63 games over the past four seasons and will provide depth on the interior.

Titans looking to upgrade offensive line

(4/2/2014) The Titans are hosting a pair of offensive linemen for free-agent visits, reports the Tennessean. They are former Jaguars guard Uche Nwaneri and former Falcons guard Garrett Reynolds.

(3/4/2014) The Jaguars released right guard Uche Nwaneri, who started 92 games over the past seven seasons and played every snap last season. The move was based on performance, according to the Florida Times-Union, but creates $3.7 million in cap space.

Now Jacksonville has about $60 million in cap room.

The Jaguars might replace the entire interior of their offensive line this offseason, the paper notes. Center Brad Meester retired, and "left guard Will Rackley's future as a starter is questionable," the report said.


Eight probable Jaguars good to go

(12/15/2013) Jaguars S Josh Evans, LB Geno Hayes, DT Roy Miller, OL Uche Nwaneri, OL Austin Pasztor, S Chris Prosinski, K Josh Scobee and RB Jordan Todman are active Week 15 against the Bills.

With Maurice Jones-Drew inactive, Todman should see the majority of the work at running back. Scobee is dealing with a hip injury, but should be good to kick.


Most injured Jaguars probable for Sunday

(12/13/2013) The Jaguars list eight probables among the 11 players on their Friday injury report.

The four defensive probables are safeties Chris Prosinski (conucssion) and Josh Evans (shoulder), linebacker Geno Hayes (knee) and tackle Roy Miller (shoulder).

The others are offensive linemen Austin Pasztor and Uche Nwaneri, both with shoulder injuries, running back Jordan Todman (shoulder) and placekicker Josh Scobee (hip).

Todman is expected to start if Maurice Jones-Drew (hamstring) cannot overcome his doubtful tag to play.


Five Jaguars healthy enough to play

(9/29/2013) Jaguars defensive back Alan Ball (groin), defensive back Will Blackmon (head), defensive lineman Roy Miller (elbow/knee), offensive lineman Uche Nwaneri (knee) and linebacker J.T. Thomas (hamstring), who were listed as probable on Friday's injury report with various injuries, are active for Week 4 against the Colts.

Nwaneri came into the week questionable, while Rackley was considered probable. Both are dealing with knee injuries.
