by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(7/3/2013) The Raiders and former No. 1 overall pick JaMarcus Russell have agreed to a $3 million settlement. Russell was owed that much following his release from the team and threatened to sue the Raiders for $9 million after they filed a grievance seeking $9.55 million, according to the San Francisco Chronicle

Russell finished his career with the Raiders with a 7-18 record as a starter.

JaMarcus working on comeback

Russell is attempting a comeback after bottoming out with the Raiders in 2009. "I've been following his comeback story pretty closely. I think a lot of teams are. Good chance he gets a second shot," a scout told Freeman.
