Steve Smith wants to play through 2015 or '16

(6/17/2013) Panthers receiver Steve Smith told the Charlotte Observer he'd like to play another three or four seasons before retiring. After that he'd like to be a sports-talk radio host in Charlotte. 

"Who does not want to have the picture-perfect career right at the end?" Smith asked. "Everybody does. That's why a few more years and really just let it go, you know, I don't want to be a guy hanging on. Or a guy that's playing just to play to get – 'Oh, I want to play 20 years' and for the next seven years I'm playing for nine different teams."

(4/2/2013) NFL.com reports that the Bucs have signed receiver Steve Smith to a one-year deal. Smith, who spent 2012 with the Rams, is being reunited with former New York Giants receivers coach Mike Sullivan, who is now the offensive coordinator in Tampa Bay.
