News: The Broncos re-signed defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson to a two-year deal, ESPN reports.
Analysis: Vickerson is a beefy lineman focused on winning the battle at the line of scrimmage, not putting up big stats. Keep him off of Fantasy rosters.
News: Denver defensive lineman Kevin Vickerson was the only player to record multiple sacks against Carolina's Cam Newton Sunday of Week 10. Vickerson picked up two of the seven sacks against Newton on the game as he finished with three tackles overall.
Analysis: The 29-year-old Vickerson recorded his first two sacks of the season and now has 27 tackles on the year for the Broncos. Despite his two sacks, Vickerson only has low-end Fantasy value in IDP formats going forward.
News: The Broncos placed DL Kevin Vickerson (ankle) on injured reserve Monday to clear a roster spot for FB Quinn Johnson.
Analysis: Vickerson actually started four games at defensive tackle for the Broncos, but he was hardly a factor on the stat sheet. Continue to ignore him in all Fantasy IDP formats.
News: Broncos DL Kevin Vickerson did something against the Raiders in Week 15 that he had never done before in his six-year career -- pick off a pass. He intercepted QB Jason Campbell in the first quarter and finished with one tackle in the 39-23 loss.
Analysis: Vickerson is better known for his ability to stuff the ran rather than picking off passes so Fantasy owners should not expect another one from him in the near future. He has totaled 39 tackles on the year with one sack and a forced fumble. But until he starts getting after the quarterback more, he will continue to have minimal Fantasy value. Consider Vickerson a low-end Fantasy DL in IDP formats heading into Week 16 against the Texans.
News: Denver DE Kevin Vickerson notched five tackles in the Broncos' 43-13 loss at Arizona in Week 14.
Analysis: Vickerson, who now has five games this season with five-plus tackles, established a new career high with 37 stops this season. However, the fourth-year player remains a low-end Fantasy option in all leagues.
News: Denver DL Kevin Vickerson seemed to sustain a groin injury in Week 12 against St. Louis, but would return later in the game. He would record three solo tackles and make a sack for the Broncos in their 36-33 loss to the Rams.
Analysis: Vickerson has just 26 tackles and one sack on the season for Denver. He doesn't make much of an impact on the field, which translates into very little Fantasy value. He should be ignored in all Fantasy IDP leagues heading into Week 13.
News: Denver DL Kevin Vickerson suffered a groin injury in the third quarter of the Broncos Week 6 game against the Jets. He went to the locker room with head trainer Steve Antonopulos after he was able to walk off the field under his own power. The next defensive series he was back on the field for Denver.
Analysis: Vickerson was added to the Denver roster at the beginning of September, just a day after being released by Seattle. He is a backup for the Broncos, but with injuries he's been getting a bit more action. Regardless, Vickerson is not a player to pay attention to in IDP Fantasy leagues.

News: Titans reserve DL Kevin Vickerson was back at practice Wednesday after serving a four-game suspension for violating the league's policy on anabolic steroids and related substances.
Analysis: Vickerson played in seven 12 games and had 1 1/2 sacks. He has 23 tackles, including one for loss, with four quarterback pressures. Even if he plays in the Titans' second-round playoff game, he won't do enough statistically to matter in Fantasy. Leave him on waivers in playoff leagues.
News: The NFL suspended Tennessee reserve defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson for four games without pay starting Friday for violating the league's policy on anabolic steroids and related substances. The league does not comment on the type of violation. Vickerson's suspension will keep him out the rest of the regular season. The Tennessean reported on its Web site that Vickerson tested positive for the banned diuretic Bumetanide. Five other players had their suspensions blocked Friday by a Minnesota judge after they sought a restraining order in federal court.
Analysis: The 6-foot-5, 305-pound Vickerson is a three-year veteran who started his career in Miami as a seventh-round draft pick in 2005. He signed with Tennessee as a free agent in 2007 and played in four games. He has played in seven of the first 12 games and has 1 1/2 sacks. He has 23 tackles, including one for loss, with four quarterback pressures. He's got no business being on a Fantasy roster.
