News: The Dallas Cowboys made their first round of cuts Monday and released the following players: wide receiver Raymond Radway; kicker Delbert Alvarado; defensive back C.J. Wilson; tight end Harry Flaherty; running back Javarris Williams and wide receiver David Little.
Analysis: Radway was in the mix to land a roster spot as the team's No. 3 receiver, but was unable to separate himself from the rest of the pack and was ultimately waived. All of the players should be left off all rosters at this point.
News: Carolina will be without RBs DeAngelo Williams (ankle) and Tyrell Sutton on Sunday of Week 17 against the Saints. Williams' regular season is over as he's inactive for the game with a sprained ankle. Jonathan Stewart will start. The other inactives are as follows: DE Hilee Taylor, DT Derek Landri, CB C.J. Wilson, LB Mortty Ivy and 3rd QB Hunter Cantwell.
Analysis: This is the last week of the season, folks. Williams has a solid year with 1,117 rushing yards and seven touchdowns and should likely be a No. 1 RB heading into next season. He can be cut across the board now, though. All the players listed above can be dropped off rosters with the regular season over.
News: The Panthers have listed the following players as inactive for Week 14 at New England: QB Jake Delhomme, DB C.J. Wilson, DE Tyler Brayton, RB Mike Goodson, RB Tony Fiammetta, DT Derek Landri and WR Kenneth Moore.
Analysis: Apart from Delhomme, who was already declared out earlier this week, none of these guys have any Fantasy value. Delhomme remains worth stashing in only deeper formats.
News: The following players are listed as inactive for the Panthers in their Week 5 game against Washington: QB A.J. Feeley, RB Mike Goodson, RB Tyrell Sutton, DL Antwon Burton, DL Hilee Taylor and DB C.J. Wilson.
Analysis: Goodson will often go without stats for the Panthers and is not a viable Fantasy option. None of the players on this list are expected to have any Fantasy appeal this season. Leave them on waivers until further notice.
News: The Panthers have listed QB Matt Moore (third QB), RB Tyrell Sutton, DB C.J. Wilson, RB Tony Fiammetta, DL Ra'Shon Harris and LB Hilee Taylor as inactive for Week 1 vs. Philadelphia.
Analysis: There are no real surprises here. Most of these players are reserves or special teamers for the Panthers and have little to no Fantasy value when active. Keep them reserved in all Fantasy formats for Week 1.
News: The Panthers listed QB Matt Moore, WR D.J. Hackett, DB C.J. Wilson, LB Adam Seward and WR Kenny Moore among their inactives for Week 14 against the Buccaneers.
Analysis: These players don't do enough statistically to matter in Fantasy even when healthy. Leave them on waivers.
News: The Carolina Panthers have listed the following players as inactive for Week 10 at Oakland: LB James Anderson, CB C.J. Wilson, WR Kenneth Moore, DT Darwin Walker and QB Matt Moore (3rd QB).
Analysis: Keep all of these players reserved for Week 10 against the Raiders. When active, they have minimal Fantasy value.
News: The Panthers listed the following players as inactive for Week 14 at Jacksonville: QB David Carr (third QB), DL Charles Johnson (coach's decision), DL Gary Gibson (coach's decision), LB James Anderson (coach's decision) and DB C.J. Wilson.
Analysis: None of the players on this list are in a position to help your Fantasy team. Keep them reserved until further notice.
News: The Panthers listed the following players as inactive for Week 13 vs. San Francisco: QB David Carr (3rd QB), WR Dwayne Jarrett (knee), DL Gary Gibson (coach's decision), DL Charles Johnson (coach's decision), LB James Anderson (coach's decision), DB C.J. Wilson (coach's decision).
Analysis: None of these players are currently in a position to help your Fantasy team. Leave them on the waiver wire until further notice.
News: On Saturday, the Panthers released veteran OT Kenyatta Walker and waived the following players: DE Dave Ball, OL D'Anthony Batiste, QB Dalton Bell, WR Taye Biddle, LB Phillipe Gardent, DT Gary Gibson, OT Bobby Harris, FB Steven Jackson, FB Billy Latsko, CB Christian Morton, FS Cam Newton, LB Mickey Pimentel, OT Rueben Riley, RB Eric Shelton, CB Derrick Strait, TE Chad Upshaw, OT Theodoric Watson, DB C.J. Wilson and WR Kevin Youngblood.
Analysis: Shelton should resurface somewhere, possibly as a short-yardage/goal-line running back. Biddle is also someone who could show up on someone's WR depth chart. But ultimately, all of the above players should be considered unusable for Fantasy purposes until they find regular playing time with an NFL team.
News: Aside from second-round pick WR Dwayne Jarrett, the Panthers' 2007 draft class includes: Miami (Fla.) LB Jon Beason, USC C Ryan Kalil, Georgia DE Charles Johnson, Miami (Ohio) WR Ryne Robinson, Oregon TE Dante Rosario, Penn State LB Tim Shaw and Baylor CB C.J. Wilson.
Analysis: Beason is a nice-sized linebacker who should contribute right away for the Panthers and be worth a look as a No. 3 or reserve LB in deeper IDP leagues. Kalil is a polished center who will help the Panthers' O-line, while Robinson will help on kick returns. Johnson could be a sleeper in dynasty IDP league play because of his speed. The rest will help provide depth to the team in training camp and aren't worth using in Fantasy play.
