Raiders place LaMarr Woodley, Usama Young on IR

(10/25/2014) The Raiders placed defensive end LaMarr Woodley (bicep) and safety Usama Young (knee) on the season-ending injured reserve list Saturday.

Woodley suffered a torn bicep muscle in Week 7 against the Cardinals. Young tore his ACL and MCL in the same game.

(10/24/2014) Raiders safety Usama Young and defensive end LaMarr Woodley will likely be placed on season-ending injured reserve list, Tony Sparano told the Bay Area News Group on Friday. Young suffered a torn ACL and MCL and Woodley suffered a torn bicep Week 8 against Arizona.

(10/24/2014) The Raiders listed a lengthy injury report for Week 8 at Cleveland. The team ruled out the following players for Sunday: tight end David Ausberry (foot), wide receiver Vincent Brown (hamstring), cornerback Keith McGill (groin), defensive end LaMarr Woodley (bicep) and safety Usama Young (knee).

Deemed questionable were offensive lineman Khalif Barnes (quadriceps), fullback Marcel Reece (quadriceps), cornerback Carlos Rogers (knee) and defensive end Justin Tuck (knee). Guard Austin Howard (neck) was the only player on the list deemed probable.

(10/20/2014) Raiders safety Usama Young is out for the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL and MCL Sunday against the Cardinals, a source told ESPN. Young has totaled 23 tackles (21 solo), two pass defenses and one sack through six games.

Young injured his left knee, and had to be carted from the field. The team quickly ruled him out for the remainder of the contest. Young registered five tackles, including a sack, before leaving the game. 


Key Raiders Tuck, Reece deemed questionable for Week 7

(10/17/2014) Defensive end Justin Tuck (knee) and fullback Marcel Reece (quad) have been designated as questionable by the Raiders for their Sunday game against Arizona.

The other questionable player is linebacker Khalif Barnes (quad).

Those three are in better shape than wideout Vincent Brown (hamstring), cornerback Keith McGill (groin) and free safety Usama Young (foot), all of whom have been ruled out.

The trio of probables is headlined by quarterback Derek Carr, who is all but certain to play despite ankle and knee issues. Defensive end Benson Mayowa (knee) and linebacker Sio Moore (ankle) are also probable.
