Eric Decker among Jets' probables cleared for MNF

(12/1/2014) Jets wideout Eric Decker, who was probable with a toe injury, is active for Monday's game against the Dolphins.

All the other Jets who were probable also are active, including guard Oday Aboushi (shoulder), linebacker Antwan Barnes (knee), guard Willie Colon (knee), running back John Conner (groin), defensive end Leger Douzable (ankle), linebacker David Harris (shoulder), safety Jaiquawn Jarrett (calf), center Nick Mangold (shoulder), defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson (low back) and quarterback Michael Vick (wrist, illness).

(12/1/2014) The Jets have announced a pair of roster moves prior to Monday night's game against the Dolphins. The team released linebacker Antwan Barnes from the active roster and signed tight end Chris Pantale from the practice squad to the active roster. Barnes, 30, registered three total tackles in five games.

(11/29/2014) The Jets have ruled out defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson (toe) and tight end Jace Amaro (concussion) for the Monday night game against Miami.

The team is otherwise healthy. All others on their injury report are probable, including quarterback Michael Vick (wrist) and running backs Chris Ivory (shoulder), Chris Johnson (knee), Bilal Powell (illness) and John Conner (groin). The other offensive probables are linemen Nick Mangold (shoulder), Oday Aboushi (shoulder) and Willie Colon (knee) and wideout Eric Decker (toe).

The defensive probables are linebackers Antwan Barnes (knee) and David Harris (shoulder), defensive back Jaiquawn Jarrett (calf) and defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson (back).

Though the roster is stocked with players dealing with bumps and bruises, the Jets are relatively healthy for the intradivision battle. Those on offense are quarterback Tajh Boyd and Matt Simms, wide receivers Clyde Gates and Stephen Hill, running backs Daryl Richardson and Alex Green, tight end Chris Pantale, linemen Brent Qvale and Caleb Schlauderaff.

The defenders imclude defensive backs Rontez Miles, Jeremy Reeves, Johnny Patrick, Dimitri Patterson and Brandon Dixon, linemen Zach Thompson, Kerry Hyder and Tevita Finau and linebackers Garrett McIntyre and A.J. Edds.

Linebacker Antwan Barnes has been placed on the PUP list.

(7/23/2014) The Jets have placed guard Willie Colon (knee, biceps) and linebacker Antwan Barnes (knee) on the active/PUP list to begin camp. Colon tore his biceps late last year and had arthroscopic knee surgery in the spring. Barnes is working his way back from a torn ACL. Both players are expected to be ready for Week 1.

(10/8/2013) Jets coach Rex Ryan did not have an update on linebacker Antwan Barnes, who had to leave the Week 5 Monday night game due a knee injury, ESPN reports.

Barnes lasted just 18 snaps in the game against the Falcons.

"He wasn't able to finish the game obviously so that doesn't look good," Ryan said during a Tuesday conference call. "I don't have the exact what that injury status is right now. Obviously tomorrow we'll have that."


Jets have three get to quarterback

(9/8/2013) The New York Jets had three players record at least parts of a sack on Sunday in a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Calvin Pace, Antwan Barnes and Muhammad Wilkerson all got to quarterback Josh Freeman in some capacity.

While Pace had half a sack, Barnes and Wilkerson each had one apiece. All three players recorded two tackles on the game for the Jets. They will play at New England in the Week 2 game.

Report: Quinton Coples to miss 3-4 weeks

(8/18/2013) Jets linebacker Quinton Coples was diagnosed with a hairline fracture of his ankle and could need three to four weeks of rehab, according to an ESPN report.

Coples suffered the injury in the second quarter of Saturday's preseason game against the Jaguars. He blocked a pass and fell awkwardly on the ground. If he is not ready for the start of the regular season, the Jets will likely look for Antwan Barnes to fill his void.
