Report: CB Bradley Fletcher signing with Patriots

(3/18/2015) Free agent cornerback Bradley Fletcher, who visited the Patriots on Tuesday, is signing with the team, reports ESPN.com. It's a one-year deal worth up to $2.5 million, according to the National Football Post.

Fletcher, 28, had 61 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble in 15 games with the Eagles last year. He has eight interceptions in his six-year career and could start in New England, which lost shutdown corner Darrelle Revis to the Jets in free agency.


CBs Bradley Fletcher and Tarell Brown visit Patriots

(3/17/2015) Free agent cornerbacks Bradley Fletcher and Tarell Brown were among the players who visited the Patriots on Tuesday, reports ESPN.com.

Fletcher spent the past two seasons with the Eagles, recording 131 total tackles and three interceptions. Brown played 14 games for the Raiders last year, making 55 tackles.

With Fletcher inactive, corner Nolan Carroll will start.

(12/26/2014) Eagles quarterback Nick Foles will miss the final game of the season with a collarbone injury. It will be Foles' eighth straight game out after suffering the injury Nov. 2 against the Texans. 

Cornerback Bradley Fletcher is also questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants witha a hip injury.

Jordan Matthews (knee), Beau Allen (shoulder), Brandon Bair (knee), Trent Cole (hand), Mychal Kendricks (ankle), Chris Maragos (Hamstring) and Casey Matthews (non-injury related) are all considered probable for the game.

The Eagles are 3-point underdogs against the Giants Sunday.


Chip Kelly unsure who will start at cornerback in Week 17

(12/22/2014) Eagles coach Chip Kelly said Monday he has not determined who will start at the cornerback position Bradley Fletcher has started at most of the season. The coaching staff will meet later on in the day to determine starters for Week 17.

"I thought Bradley's played well during the year," Kelly said. "You've got to look at it through the whole time."

Fletcher struggled again in Week 16, getting burned this time by DeSean Jackson on multiple catches, including a 55-yard completion.

Fletcher was beat by Dez Bryant multiple times in Sunday's 38-27 loss to the Cowboys, including for two of his three touchdowns on the night. 

Fletcher has 56 total tackles and one interception return for a touchdown on the year.

(11/16/2014) Packers wideout Jordy Nelson found himself one-on-one with Eagles cornerback Bradley Fletcher several times Sunday, and Aaron Rodgers exploited the mismatch. Nelson burned Fletcher for a 27-yard touchdown in the second quarter and drew a pass interference flag on Fletcher in the end zone, setting up Eddie Lacy's 1-yard scoring run.

Nelson caught four of 10 targets for 109 yards, his second straight 100-yard game and fifth this year. Nelson visits the Vikings in Week 12.

(12/30/2013) The Eagles DST allowed 417 yards Week 17 at Dallas, but came up with three turnovers at critical times. Linebacker Mychal Kendricks and corner Brandon Boykin intercepted Kyle Orton, the second pick ending Dallas' last-ditch drive.

Earlier, cornerback Bradley Fletcher recovered a DeMarco Murray fumble to squelch a Cowboys' scoring chance. The Eagles held Dallas to 3.3 yards per carry. However, Philly came up with zero sacks.

The Eagles DST faces a tougher test in Saturday's playoff game when New Orleans comes calling.
