(10/17/2014) The Redskins listed 10 players on their final injury report for Sunday's Week 7 clash against the Titans. Robert Griffin III (ankle), Akeem Jordan (knee) and Tracy Porter (hamstring) were the only three to be officially ruled out for the game.

Deemed questionable were David Amerson (concussion), Ryan Clark (ankle) and Perry Riley Jr. (knee). Brian Orakpo (ankle), Trenton Robinson (ankle), Trent Williams (knee) and Darrel Young (hamstring) were all officially ruled probable for Sunday.


Redskins announce Week 6 inactives vs. Cardinals

(10/12/2014) The Redskins have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Cardinals: quarterback Robert Griffin III (ankle), wide receiver Aldrick Robinson, guard Spencer Long, tackle Morgan Moses, cornerback CB Tracy Porter (hamstring) and linebackers Perry Riley (knee) and Jackson Jeffcoat.

Griffin and Porter were previously ruled out, but Riley carried a questionable tag before being deemed inactive for the game. On the positive side, tight end Jordan Reed (hamstring), safety Ryan Clark (ankle), linebacker Brian Orakpo (ankle) and tackle Trent Williams (knee) are all active after being listed as questionable on the team's final injury report.

The Redskins had several players with a probable designation who are active for Week 6, including defensive ends Kedric Golston (groing) and Jason Hatcher (hamstring), defensive tackle Frank Kearse (thigh), linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee), safety Trenton Robinson (ankle) guard Shawn Lauvao (knee) and tackle Tyler Polumbus (finger).

(10/10/2014) Seven Redskins have been deemed probable for their Sunday clash against the Cardinals.

They are defensive ends Kedric Golston (groin), Jason Hatcher (hamstring) and Frank Kearse (thigh), linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee), offensive linemen Shawn Lauvao (knee) and Tyler Polumbus (finger) and safety Trenton Robinson (ankle).

Only two Washington players have been ruled out - quarterback Robert Griffin III (ankle) and cornerback Tracy Porter (hamstring).

(10/4/2014) The Redskins have listed seven players as questionable for Monday's Week 5 matchup with the Seahawks, including tight ends Jordan Reed (hamstring) and Niles Paul (concussion), left tackle Trent Williams (knee), safety Trenton Robinson (ankle), defensive end Kedric Golston (groin), linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee) and guard Shawn Lauvao (knee).

Williams, Robinson and Goslton were all limited in practice Saturday, while Paul, Jordan and Lauvao practiced in full. Cornerback Tracy Porter (hamstring) has been ruled out for the game.

Five players were listed as probable to play in Week 5, including wide receiver DeSean Jackson (shoulder), linebacker Brian Orakpo (finger) and defensive linemen Jason Hatcher (hamstring), Chris Baker (shoulder) and Jarvis Jenkins (rib).


Many questionable players good to go for Washington

(9/25/2014) Washington should have plenty of their questionable players for Week 4 against the Giants.

Chris Baker, Jason Hatcher, Frank Kearse, Kory Lichtensteiger, Tracy Porter and Trenton Robinson were all questionable entering the game, but are active. 

The team will also have kicker Kai Forbath, Tyler Polumbus and Keenan Robinson. All three players came into the game as probable.

Guard Shawn Lauvao (knee), defensive lineman Chris Baker (ankle/hip), defensive ends Jason Hatcher (hamstring), Frank Kearse (ankle) and Kedric Golston (groin), safety Trenton Robinson (abdomen), cornerback Tracy Porter (hamstring) and offensive lineman Kory Lichtensteiger (groin/rib/hip) all are questionable.

Linebackers Brian Orakpo (finger) and Keenan Robinson (shoulder), kicker Kai Forbath (groin) and offensive tackle Tyler Polumbus (knee) all are probable.

(9/19/2014) The Redskins could be without two players from the defensive side of the ball in Week 3 against the Eagles, as defensive lineman Kedric Golston (groin) is listed on the injury report as doubtful while linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee) and defensive back Tracy Porter (hamstring) were ruled out.

The team has just two other players listed on the injury report for Week 3 on defense, and both are expected to play. Linebacker Brian Orakpo (neck) and defensive back Ryan Clark (foot) both got through the week in practice and are officially probable for Sunday.

The National Football Post reported the signings for Porter and Geathers. Pro Football Talk reported the signing for Sharpton, who signed a one-year deal for $2 million.

Porter played with the Raiders last year, picking off a pair of passes and totaling 12 passes defensed, 67 tackles with 1.5 sacks. The Redskins will be his fourth NFL team in as many seasons.

Tracy Porter takes interception to the house Week 10

(11/11/2013) Raiders cornerback Tracy Porter gave his team a 17-14 lead heading into halftime Week 10 at N.Y. Giants after he returned an Eli Manning interception 43 yards for a touchdown with 1:18 left in the second quarter. Unfortunately, the lead didn't last in the second half, as New York rallied for a 24-20 win.

It was Porter's second interception in his last three games and his third career touchdown. He has 46 tackles (34 solo) and 10 pass defenses through nine games. His career high in pass defenses is 12.
