(8/28/2013) The Jets made another addition to their quarterback corps Tuesday, as they inked recently waived passer Graham Harrell Tuesday, according to FoxSports.com. 

Harrell was let go by the Packers Saturday, after losing out on the backup job in Green Bay to Vince Young. The Jets are dealing with injuries to their top two options on the depth chart, but Harrell is now the fifth quarterback on the roster.

(8/24/2013) Vince Young has won the backup quarterback competition against Graham Harrell, according to ESPN, which is reporting that the latter has been released by the Packers. Young has received far less playing time than Harrell in preseason games, completing just 6 of 12 passes for 33 yards. Harrell completed 17 of 29 for 120 yards. Neither recorded a touchdown.

(8/20/2013) Packers quarterback Graham Harrell remains the "clear leader" over Vince Young to be Aaron Rodgers' backup, according to the team's website. Friday's game against Seattle "likely will determine whether Harrell locks down the job or Young significantly closes the gap," the report said.

(8/10/2013) Packers quarterback Graham Harrell is losing his grip on the backup job that he held last season, according to ESPN.

Harrell took over for Aaron Rodgers with under seven minutes remaining in the first quarter during Friday's preseason opener against the Cardinals. He completed 12 of 19 passes for 76 yards. He was picked off once and sacked twice.

"Graham has to play better, and it's tough," head coach Mike McCarthy said Saturday. "Playing quarterback in the preseason, it's never clean, and it’s been like that as long as I've been in this league."

He mostly just handed the ball off to Ryan Grant, though. Statistically, he went 1 for 2 for 9 yards.
