(2/19/2014) Receiver Jordan Shipley announced his retirement in January, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Shipley played with the Bengals, Jaguars and Buccaneers, totaling 79 receptions for 858 yards and four touchdowns (three as a rookie with Cincinnati).
Shipley said when he tore his ACL and MCL in 2011 he also tore his meniscus to the point where most of it had to be extracted.
"My knee never wanted to bend all the way afterward," said Shipley, who has accepted a job working as a host on the Outdoor Channel.
