Craig Steltz on PUP with groin injury

(7/28/2014) Bears safety Craig Steltz missed another practice Monday as he continues to recover from a groin injury.

Steltz was placed on the PUP list before the start of camp last week. He'll be looking to stave off Adrian Wilson and keep a reserve role once healthy.

(12/2/2013) Bears safety Craig Steltz had his best game of the season Sunday at Minnesota with starting strong safety Major Wright sidelined by an injury. Steltz, who started in place of Wright, totaled a team-high 12 tackles (nine solo) in a 23-20 overtime loss.

Steltz had all of seven tackles (all solo) coming into Week 13.

(11/24/2013) Bears defensive back Craig Steltz (concussion) was cleared and will play in Week 12 against the Rams, as he is not listed among the team's inactives Sunday.

Defensive back Isaiah Frey (hand) and defensive lineman Shea McClellin (hamstring) were both able to play through their injuries as well.
