News: The Rams reached a decision on the final 53 players on the roster by Saturday's deadline, so several hopefuls were let go. Among the cuts were DL George Selvie, DB Tim Atchison, TE Demarco Cosby, DB Tae Evans, DT Marlon Favorite, WR Mardy Gilyard, DT John Henderson, QB Thaddeus Lewis, WR Greg Mathews and DT Daniel Muir.
Analysis: None of the players mentioned above were expected to make a big Fantasy impact in 2011, so they should remain off of rosters. Ignore them all on Draft Day.
News: The Rams signed DL Marlon Favorite on Thursday. Favorite had been cut by the Eagles on Aug. 27.
Analysis: Favorite is still a long shot to make the team's final roster, but the team is giving him a look. He is not somebody who should be targeted in any IDP Fantasy leagues.
News: The Eagles announced that they cut four players on Friday. Among the casualties were defensive tackle Marlon Favorite, running back Derrick Locke, linebacker Brandon Peguese and wide receiver Terrance Turner.
Analysis: None of the aforementioned players are expected to make a significant impact in 2011, so ignore them in Fantasy play.
News: The Patriots signed sixth-year defensive end Mark Anderson on Friday, so they released DL Marlon Favorite to make room for him. Favorite hasn't seen any NFL action despite being in the league for the last two seasons.
Analysis: Favorite has been a practice squad player for the better part of his time in the NFL since helping LSU win a National Championship in 2007. Fantasy owners should not consider him to be an option on Draft Day, regardless of format.
News: Buffalo released defensive tackle Marlon Favorite in mid-May after signing him in March. A member of the 2007 national champion LSU Tigers, Favorite spent his first NFL season last year splitting time on the practice squads of St. Louis, Kansas City, Seattle and New Orleans. He has yet to appear in an NFL game, and first signed with Carolina in May as an undrafted free agent. At LSU, Favorite had 17 starts in 40 career games. He's listed at 6-foot-1 and 317 pounds.
Analysis: Favorite is not expected to produce significant stats. Leave him off of Fantasy rosters.

News: Panthers starting defensive tackle Maake Kemoeatu suffered an ankle injury Monday in the team's opening training-camp workout. Kemoeatu rolled his right ankle while running early in the practice and was carted to the locker room. Coach John Fox said he was to meet with doctors later Monday. The Panthers' lack of depth at defensive tackle left undrafted rookie Marlon Favorite practicing in Kemoeatu's spot with the starters. "(Favorite) is a neat young man who gives you everything he's got," Fox said. "We saw that out of college."
Analysis: Kemoeatu isn't a big stat producer in the first place, nor is Favorite, so Fantasy owners shouldn't be impacted by this news.
