News: The Baltimore Ravens moved the following players to injured reserve Monday in order to help meet the latest roster restrictions: linebacker Stevie Baggs (undisclosed); linebacker Darryl Blackstock (groin); defensive back Emanuel Cook (leg); and defensive lineman Ryan McBean (ankle).
Analysis: None of these players were expected to make a Fantasy impact this season and should be left off all rosters at this point.
News: The Cardinals released OLB Steve Baggs on Friday.
Analysis: Baggs was a solid player in the CFL, but couldn't crack the Arizona top 53. He might end up on the practice squad, but remains a non-factor in Fantasy play.
News: The Cardinals took an intriguing flyer, signing free-agent OLB Stevie Baggs, who tied for the most sacks in the Canadian Football League last season with 12. He also had a career-high 55 tackles with Saskatchewan. Baggs played collegiately at Bethune-Cookman and also for Winnipeg and Edmonton in the CFL.
Analysis: The Cardinals will see if Baggs can hack it as a pass rusher in the NFL. While we doubt he'll play much, if at all, this season, there's always the chance he ends up being a prospect that the team can consider in the future. Keep him off Fantasy rosters for now.
