(11/21/2014) The questionable status of wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) headlines the injury report submitted by the Cardinals for their Sunday game against Seattle. Ed Stinson (toe) was the only player on the list ruled out for Week 12.

Meanwhile, the following players were deemed probable: Sam Acho (neck), Lorenzo Alexander (knee), Andre Ellington (foot, hip), Larry Foote (hip), Robert Hughes (hamstring), Rashad Johnson (back) and Dan Williams (elbow).

(10/31/2014) Running back Stepfan Taylor (calf), who has been ruled out as expected by the Cardinals for their Sunday game in Dallas, is the lone no-go. Safety Tony Jefferson (knee) and tight end Troy Niklas (ankle) are questionable.

The rest on their Friday injury list are probable, including standout cornerback Patrick Peterson (concussion). They are defensive end Calais Campbell (knee), linebacker Kenny Demens (knee), running back Andre Ellington (foot), wideout Michael Floyd (knee) and safety Rashad Johnson (knee).

(10/24/2014) The Cardinals are in excellent shape heading into their Sunday clash against Philadelphia. Only six players are listed on their Friday injury report and one is deemed less than questionable. That is tight end Troy Niklas (ankle), who has been ruled out.

Defensive end Calais Campbell (knee), who returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday and Friday, is questionable. The probables are wideout John Brown (ankle), running back Andre Ellington (foot), defensive and Frostee Rucker (calf) and safety Rashad Johnson (knee).

(10/20/2014) Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said Monday safety Rashad Johnson is being evaluated for a possible patellar tendon injury. However, he could be dealing with severe tendinitis.

Johnson has totaled 36 tackles (32 solo), two interceptions and one sack through six games. He also has one touchdown and two pass defenses.

(10/12/2014) Cardinals safety Rashad Johnson intercepted two passes Sunday, returning one for a touchdown in his team's 30-20 win over the Redskins in Week 6.

Johnson came to play in the fourth quarter Sunday, returning his first interception 30 yards to stop a drive in Cardinals territory before sealing the game with a 28-yard interception return for touchdown with less than 30 seconds remaining. The picks were his first of the season, and he also managed eight total tackles in Week 6. He'll face a rookie-led Raiders offense in Week 7.

(9/29/2014) Cardinals safety Rashad Johnson suffered a broken thumb Week 3 against the 49ers, according to the team's official website. Though, Johnson was able to practice Monday with his hand wrapped in a cast, which was the team's first practice after its Week 4 bye.

Cardinals defense plays huge role in Week 3 comeback win

(9/21/2014) The Cardinals defense shutout the 49ers in the second half Sunday, which allowed the offense to rally from a 14-6 halftime deficit and secure a 23-14 win Week 3.

The 49ers, who had a pair of first-half touchdowns, finished with 318 yards, including 82 rushing yards. 

The Cardinals defensive forced no turnovers and recorded one sack. Safety Tony Jefferson totaled a team-high 10 tackles (eight solo) and had the quarterback takedown of Colin Kaepernick. Safety Rashad Johnson had eight solo tackles and safety Tyrann Mathieu had six solo tackles.

The Cardinals are on a Week 4 bye before returning to action Week 5 at Denver.

(10/27/2013) Cardinals safety Rashad Johnson made his presence known in the passing game Week 8 against the Falcons.

Johnson picked off opposing quarterback Matt Ryan twice in the team's 27-13 win. Both of Johnson's interceptions came in the second half. His second ended any hope at a Falcons comeback. Johnson wasn't much of a threat otherwise, picking up just one tackle and an additional pass defensed.

Johnson is on a bye Week 9. He'll take on the Texans Week 10.

(10/8/2013) Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said Tuesday that safety Rashad Johnson will play in Sunday's game against San Francisco, FOX Sports reports.

Arians said he'll play with a splint on his injured finger. He didn't want Johnson playing with a protective mitt against the Panthers.
