(11/30/2014) Giants offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz was carted off the field in the first quarter Sunday at Jacksonville due to a left leg injury. Schwartz was playing in just his second game this season Week 13 after spending most of the season on short-term injured reserve with a right toe injury.

Shortly after being carted off, it was announced Schwartz suffered a left ankle sprain and would not return to the game. He is also undergoing X-rays.

(11/28/2014) The Giants have ruled out offensive lineman Adam Snyder (knee), defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins (calf) and linebacker Jacquian Williams (concussion, shoulder) for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka (knee) and tackle Justin Pugh (quadriceps) were the only two players deemed questionable.

Meanwhile, linebacker Jameel McClain (knee), safety Antrel Rolle (rest) and offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz (toe) were designated as probable for Week 13.

(11/23/2014) The Giants have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday night's Week 12 matchup with the Cowboys: linebacker Jacquian Williams (concussion), defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins (calf), cornerback Mike Harris, defensive end Kerry Wynn and offensive linemen Dallas Reynolds, Justin Pugh and Brandon Mosley.

Williams and Jenkins had already been ruled out on Friday's final injury report of the week. All three of the team's probables are active Sunday, including defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka (knee), guard Geoff Schwartz (toe) and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (back, hamstring).

(11/18/2014) Giants guard Geoff Schwartz, recently activated from short-term IR, plans to play Sunday night against the Cowboys, reports the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Schwartz dislocated his toe in the preseason and has yet to play a down this year.

"I am ready to go," Schwartz said. "I had a couple good weeks of practice. Last week was real good. I expect I'll be ready to go."

Schwartz is expected to start at right guard, replacing John Jerry, according to the New York Post.

Schwartz underwent a lengthy rehab after dislocating his toe in the preseason. Coughlin would not say where Schwartz will fit in to the offensive line upon his return, according to the New York Daily News.

(10/16/2014) Giants offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz, who is on short-term IR due to a toe injury, is getting closer to practicing, per NJ.com. He is already running, but Schwartz is awaiting clearance from the training staff for light practice this week.

Schwartz is hoping to return following the team's Week 8 bye.

"I'm just following the protocol [the training staff has] set out for me and when they tell me that I'm ready to go, I'll be ready to go," Schwartz said. "I really can't put a date on it. Thursday's the first day I'm allowed to be back, so that's kind of what I'm shooting for."

Schwartz will meet with a foot specialist this week.

Richburg had been competing with Brandon Mosley at right guard, but now it appears both will be forced to start, the paper said.
