Jets injury report for Thursday dominated by probables

(10/15/2014) A rather lengthy Jets injury report for their Thursday game against the Patriots is dominated by probables. The lone exceptions are wide receiver Greg Salas (wrist/ankle) and linebacker Trevor Reilly (knee), both of whom have been ruled out.

The probables are tight end Jace Amaro (knee), guard Willie Colon (knee), wideouts David Nelson (ankle) and Eric Decker (hamstring), tackle Breno Giacomini (back), defensive lineman Damon Harrison (ankle), running back Chris Johnson (ankle), center Nick Mangold (shoulder) and cornerback Darrin Walls (knee).


Seven Jets should play Week 6

(10/10/2014) Seven Jets are listed as probable on the team's injury report for Week 6.

Willie Colon, Jeff Cumberland, Breno Giacomini, Damon Harrison, Chris Johnson, Nick Mangold and Dee Milliner should all be able to play Sunday. All seven players were able to put in full practice Friday.

Willie Colon, Breno Giacomini, Damon Harrison, Chris Johnson, Nick Mangold, Dee Milliner and Calvin Pryor are all active for the contest. Wideout David Nelson entered the day considered questionable, but he will also try to play through his injury.

Wide receiver David Nelson will be considered questionable entering the contest. The team deemed six players probable. Willie Colon, Breno Giacomini, Damon Harrison, Nick Mangold, Dee Milliner and Calvin Pryor should all be able to play.

(3/12/2014) The Jets announced the signing of free-agent offensive lineman Breno Giacomini Wednesday. Giacomini started nine games at right tackle for the Seahawks in 2013 and 16 in 2012. Financial terms of the deal have yet to be announced.

(11/8/2013) Four players listed on the Friday injury report for the Seahawks have been ruled out. They are defensive end Red Bryant (concussion), running back Derrick Coleman (hamstring), defensive tackle Jordan Hill (biceps) and center Max Unger (concussion).

Tackle Breno Giacomini (knee) is doubtful, safety Jeron Johnson (hamstring) is questionable and safety Kam Chancellor (ankle), defensive end Chris Clemons (not injury related) and running back Marshawn Lynch (knee) are probable.

All three players were unable to participate in practice all week. Coleman and Johnson have been dealing with hamstring issues. Giacomini has a knee injury.

Ware has been dealing with an ankle injury, and has been held out of practice. Giacomini has not practiced due to a knee injury.

Among them is defensive lineman Jordan Hill (calf), who was able to get through the week in practice in full, but who will be inactive as the coaching staff wants to give him one more week to get full healthy.

Tackle Breno Giacomini (knee) and running back Spencer Ware (ankle) were also ruled out.

(9/30/2013) Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said tackle Breno Giacomini had knee surgery Monday to remove "loose bodies." There was no other damage reported and Carroll is expecting a quick recovery for Giacomini.
