Will Beatty unsure when he'll be back

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(4/28/2014) Giants left tackle Will Beatty, coming off a massive leg and knee injury, is running but only in a straight line. He might not be heavily involved in next month's OTAs and his rehab could stretch into training camp, reports The Star-Ledger

"Who knows the future? I know today I’m doing good," Beatty told the paper. "I know today I am past expectations of the doctor and I want to make sure tomorrow I’m the same way. I want to make sure I keep improving so when it is time for opening day, I’m there. When it is time to put on pads for the first time, I can put on pads. Those are my goals, to hit those, I guess, mile markers."

Giants try another combination on offensive line

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8/26/2013) With center David Baas (knee) and tackle David Diehl (thumb) still sidelined, the Giants continue to tinker with their offensive line. On Monday they trotted out Kevin Boothe at center in place of Jim Cordle, reports ESPN.com.

James Brewer moved to left guard, while rookie Justin Pugh remained at right tackle, the report said. Right guard Chris Snee and left tackle Will Beatty stayed put.

Coach Tom Coughlin said nothing is set in stone. "We’ll try different combinations," he said. "Nothing wrong with that, I hope."
