Vikings re-sign Joe Berger to two-year deal

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(3/10/2015) The Vikings have re-signed offensive lineman Joe Berger to a two-year deal, ESPN.com reports.

"He's excited to be able to play in the new stadium (the Vikings will open in 2016)," his agent, Tom Tafelski, said. "It's a great organization, a great sports city, a great quality of life. We're excited we got it done."

Berger started nine games at right guard last season. He could compete for a starting role next season depending on what else the team accomplishes in free agency and the draft.
