(1/24/2014) Rams left tackle Jake Long had ACL surgery recently and guard Harvey Dahl will undergo ankle surgery soon, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. While Long's surgery will mean a lot of rehab, Dahl's is considered a clean-up procedure. He should be fine for training camp.

(12/22/2013) Among the Rams inactive list for Week 16 are two offensive players who are sidelined by injuries. Wide receiver Tavon Austin (ankle) and running back Daryl Richardson (thigh) headline the team's inactive list, as unveiled prior to kickoff Sunday against the Buccaneers.

Additionally, offensive linemen Harvey Dahl, Mike Person (illness) and Brandon Washington, defensive lineman Matt Conrath and defensive back Quinton Pointer are all out of uniform for Sunday's game.

Dahl is dealing with a knee injury, and was unable to practice Thursday and Friday. Richardson has a thigh issue, and has also not been able to practice during the week. Jenkins has a back injury.

Pointer, Jones, Conrath, Person and Rivers are all healthy scratches.

Quinn has been dealing with a hip injury, and has remained inactive for most weeks since the team signed him. Dahl is dealing with a knee injury, and has missed the past two games.

(10/31/2013) Rams starting right guard Harvey Dahl will miss several weeks after suffering a knee injury Monday against the Seahawks, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Shelley Smith will replace Dahl in the starting lineup.

"The big thing with the report we got from the doctor was that Harvey is going to miss some time," Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said."“Don’t know, a couple of weeks perhaps, with the MCL."
