Saints' role players held in check Week 11

(11/16/2014) The Saints received minor contributions from several role players in Week 11 against Cincinnati.

Brian Leonard caught his lone target for 15 yards. Joe Morgan was also held to one grab, but finished with only 7 yards. Erik Lorig caught all four of his targets for 5 yards. Josh Hill was targeted once and held without a grab.

(10/17/2014) Saints tight end Jimmy Graham is the biggest question mark on Friday's injury report for Week 7 at Detroit.

Graham was a limited participant in practice for the second straight day and will likely be a game-time decision for the game. Graham along with defensive back Patrick Robinson (hamstring) were the only two players deemed questionable for Sunday.

Meanwhile, linebacker Ronald Powell (Illness), running back Pierre Thomas (illness), defensive back Keenan Lewis (toe), center Jonathan Goodwin (knee), running back Mark Ingram (hand) and fullback Erik Lorig (ankle) were all ruled probable. Linebackers Ramon Humber (ankle) and Kyle Knox (ankle) were the only two players to be ruled out for the game.

(9/26/2014) The Saints have listed eight players on the final injury report leading up to Week 4 against Dallas. Safety Marcus Ball (hamstring), running back Mark Ingram (hand) and fullback Erik Lorig (ankle) have been officially ruled out for Sunday.

Center Jonathan Goodwin (ankle), linebacker David Hawthorne (ankle, knee), cornerback Patrick Robinson (hamstring) and tight end Benjamin Watson (groin) were all deemed questionable. Meanwhile, inside linebacker Curtis Lofton (shoulder) was the only player on the report labeled probable for Sunday.

He had five rushes for 35 yards, all in the first half, and added three catches for just one yard. Featured back Bobby Rainey had 35 yards on 11 tries and one reception for 1 yard.

Fellow back Michael Hill managed one attempt for 3 yards and two catches for 23 yards. Wide receiver Chris Owusu contributed one catch for 5 yards while fullback Erik Lorig had one snag for 3 yards.

Owusu's catch was his first since Week 7 at Atlanta. He was targeted three times on the day. Lorig's catch was his first since Week 11 against Atlanta.

Buccaneers get small contributions

(11/17/2013) Buccaneers wide receiver Tiquan Underwood, running back Michael Hill, fullback Erik Lorig and tight end Tom Crabtree all made small contributions Week 11 against the Falcons. Underwood had one catch for 20 yards. Hill had three carries for 3 yards. Lorig had one catch for 3 yards. Crabtree had one catch for 5 yards.

Among the four, Underwood is by far the most regular contributor on offense, actually leading the team with 64 receiving yards last week against the Dolphins. Still, he has just 10 total receptions on the year.
