Saints release inactive list for game against Browns

(9/14/2014) Healthy scratches dominate the inactive list released Sunday by the Saints in Cleveland. The lone two injured players are safety Marcus Ball (hamstring) and fullback Erik Lorig (ankle).

The other inactives are wideouts Nick Toon and Joseph Morgan, cornerback Stanley Jean-Baptiste, guard Senio Kelemente and defensive end Glenn Foster.

(9/7/2014) The Saints' list of inactives for Week 1 at Atlanta includes WR Kenny Stills (quadriceps), defensive back Marcus Ball (hamstring), fullback Erik Lorig (ankle), defensive back Stanley Jean-Baptiste, offensive lineman Senio Kelemete, wide receiver Nick Toon and defensive lineman John Jenkins.

Jean-Baptiste, Kelemete, Toon and Jenkins are all healthy scratches.

(12/29/2013) Running back Brian Leonard was the most productive of the small contributors for the Buccaneers in their Sunday loss at New Orleans. He had five rushes for 35 yards, all in the first half, and added three catches for just one yard. Featured back Bobby Rainey had 35 yards on 11 tries and one reception for 1 yard.

Fellow back Michael Hill managed one attempt for 3 yards and two catches for 23 yards. Wide receiver Chris Owusu contributed one catch for 5 yards while fullback Erik Lorig had one snag for 3 yards.

(12/1/2013) Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Owusu and Erik Lorig each made a catch Week 13 at Carolina. Owusu's went for 20 yards, and Lorig's went for minus-1.

Owusu's catch was his first since Week 7 at Atlanta. He was targeted three times on the day. Lorig's catch was his first since Week 11 against Atlanta.

Buccaneers get small contributions

(11/17/2013) Buccaneers wide receiver Tiquan Underwood, running back Michael Hill, fullback Erik Lorig and tight end Tom Crabtree all made small contributions Week 11 against the Falcons. Underwood had one catch for 20 yards. Hill had three carries for 3 yards. Lorig had one catch for 3 yards. Crabtree had one catch for 5 yards.

Among the four, Underwood is by far the most regular contributor on offense, actually leading the team with 64 receiving yards last week against the Dolphins. Still, he has just 10 total receptions on the year.

(11/3/2013) The Buccaneers received some contributions from a couple of key role players during Sunday's loss to the Seahawks in Week 9.

In the running game, Skye Dawson broke for a 14-yard run in the third quarter for his only touch of the day on the offensive side. He was not targeted in the passing game. Fullback Erik Lorig caught all three of his targeted passes for 14 yards in a 27-24 overtime loss.

Demps had one carry for 14 yards and one catch for 8 yards, Ogletree had five catches (nine targets) for 30 yards, Leonard had two catches for 11 yards, Lorig had one catch for 20 yards and James had one catch for 2 yards.
