Pro Bowler Marshal Yanda finally healthy

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(6/25/2014) Ravens guard Marshal Yanda made the Pro Bowl in 2013 for the third straight year despite undergoing shoulder surgery last offseason, a procedure that limited his preparation. "Last year at this time I wasn’t even lifting yet, and this year now I’ve been lifting for a long time and feeling good," Yanda told the team's website.

Yanda is pumped about Gary Kubiak's scheme and believes the running game will rebound.

"We all like running the zone scheme and know that Gary is going to do that, and we’re just excited," Yanda said. "We understand that we’ve got to pass the ball as well, but as offensive linemen, you always love to run the ball, and we’re excited to do that."

Marshal Yanda, Lardarius Webb could play Thursday

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(8/21/2013) Ravens right guard Marshal Yanda and cornerback Lardarius Webb could make their preseason debuts when Baltimore hosts Carolina on Thursday night, the team said.

Yanda has recovered from offseason shoulder surgery while Webb has worked his way back from an ACL tear last October. Both have practiced extensively this week.

Marshal Yanda remains limited

by Jamey Eisenberg | Senior Fantasy Writer
(7/24/2013) Ravens offensive guard Marshal Yanda, who is on the physically unable to perform list after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, is slated to do only walkthroughs and individual drills and no full-team work, reports the Baltimore Sun.

"Marshal is working the shoulder," coach John Harbaugh said. "He's doing great."

Ravens place Jameel McClain, Marshal Yanda on PUP list

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(7/22/2013) The Ravens placed linebacker Jameel McClain and guard Marshal Yanda -- both starters -- on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list to start training camp, ESPN.com reports.

McClain, who had 79 tackles last year, missed the final three regular-season games and Baltimore’s Super Bowl run with a spinal cord contusion. Yanda, a Pro Bowl starter last year, has a shoulder problem.

They can’t practice until they’re removed from the PUP list. If they’re still on the list when the season opens, they’d have to miss at least the first six games.
