(8/24/2013) Rams tight end Jared Cook had a solid game Saturday in the third preseason contest against the Broncos. Cook scored the game's first touchdown on a pass from Sam Bradford.

Cook caught a 3-yard TD pass to make it 7-0 St. Louis. He ended up leading the team in both catches with four and yards with 50. Tight end Zach Potter also scored in the game, catching a 1-yard TD pass from Kellen Clemens in the late moments before a failed two-point conversion ended things.

Potter had just the one catch and is very low on the depth chart for St. Louis. Cook, on the other hand, is projected to start for the Rams.
