(10/3/2013) The Giants are making a change along the offensive line heading into Week 5 vs. Philadelphia.

Giants try another combination on offensive line

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8/26/2013) With center David Baas (knee) and tackle David Diehl (thumb) still sidelined, the Giants continue to tinker with their offensive line. On Monday they trotted out Kevin Boothe at center in place of Jim Cordle, reports ESPN.com.

James Brewer moved to left guard, while rookie Justin Pugh remained at right tackle, the report said. Right guard Chris Snee and left tackle Will Beatty stayed put.

Coach Tom Coughlin said nothing is set in stone. "We’ll try different combinations," he said. "Nothing wrong with that, I hope."

Two starters, center David Baas (knee) and guard/tackle David Diehl (thumb), are sidelined for multiple weeks.

"Cordle played very well [Sunday] night and we thought that was the best move for now," coach Tom Coughlin said. Cordle was forced into duty when Baas sprained his knee.
