News: Chiefs defensive back Donald Washington was arrested early Thursday morning by the Illinois State Police according to the Effingham Daily News. Originally pulled over for speeding, Washington was later charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. He was found with cannabis and was speeding and driving on a suspended license.
Analysis: Washington played collegiately at Ohio State and has been a backup with the Chiefs since 2009. He could be looking at a suspension but no one in Fantasy should care.
News: Chiefs DB Donald Washington suffered an apparent leg injury in Week 9 against the Raiders. He was in on a tackle with under two minutes left in the game and had to be helped off the field. He finished with one tackle and did not return.
Analysis: Washington has just 15 tackles on the year and is mainly used on special teams. Fantasy owners can keep an eye on his status if they like but he poses no Fantasy value, even when healthy.
News: The following Chiefs players were listed as inactive for Week 11 vs. Pittsburgh: LB Mike Vrabel, LB Justin Rodgers, RB Dantrell Savage, DB Donald Washington, TE Jake O'Connell, LB David Herron, QB Matt Gutierrez.
Analysis: None of the players listed carry much Fantasy appeal. Leave them reserved in all leagues until further notice.
News: The Chiefs said Thursday that the club has signed its third-round choice DE Alex Magee, its fourth-round pick CB Donald Washington and its sixth-round draft pick WR Quinten Lawrence. Magee saw action in 50 contests (33 starts) at Purdue, registering 117 tackles (68 solo), six sacks, 14 tackles for loss, an interception, two passes defensed, three forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries. Washington saw action in 37 contests (24 starts) at Ohio State, registering 102 tackles (75 solo), two interceptions returned 104 yards with a TD, six passes defensed, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. Lawrence saw action in 37 contests (32 starts) at McNeese State. He ranks 10th in school history with 99 receptions for 1,905 yards (19.4 avg.) and 15 TDs. He added 22 kickoff returns for 419 yards (18.9 avg.) and took his lone career punt return back for a 70-yard TD.
Analysis: Magee and Washington could see time on defense, but they have minimal Fantasy value and are not worth drafting in IDP leagues this season. Lawrence also will be more of a factor on special teams and is not worth drafting this season.
