(9/26/2014) The Saints have listed eight players on the final injury report leading up to Week 4 against Dallas. Safety Marcus Ball (hamstring), running back Mark Ingram (hand) and fullback Erik Lorig (ankle) have been officially ruled out for Sunday.

Center Jonathan Goodwin (ankle), linebacker David Hawthorne (ankle, knee), cornerback Patrick Robinson (hamstring) and tight end Benjamin Watson (groin) were all deemed questionable. Meanwhile, inside linebacker Curtis Lofton (shoulder) was the only player on the report labeled probable for Sunday.

(9/21/2014) Linebackers Curtis Lofton and Junior Galette teamed up to help shut down Minnesota on Sunday for the Saints.

Lofton led the way with eight tackles, including seven solos, and Galette added seven tackles. Both contributed two TFLs while the latter recorded two quarterback hits.

Of the eight players on the injury report, seven are considered questionable. He tied for the team lead with eight tackles, including six solo. He's now averaging 7.9 tackles in seven games, but with no interceptions and only one sack.

(2:12 am ET) The Saints DST has forced 10 turnovers after getting four more in Monday's blowout of Miami. Corners Jabari Greer and Chris Carr and linebacker Will Herring intercepted Ryan Tannehill, and linebacker Curtis Lofton stripped Tannehill with safety Rafael Bush recovering.

Playing with a lead throughout, New Orleans sacked Tannehill four times. Defensive end Cameron Jordan had a sack and three quarterback hits, and linebacker Junior Galette added a sack and two quarterback hits.

The aggressive Saints DST visits turnover-prone quarterback Jay Cutler and the Bears in Week 5.
