Texans TE Graham secures first TD of year in Week 11 win

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(11/16/2014) Texans tight end Garrett Graham caught just two passes Sunday in Cleveland, but they came successively and one of them was a biggie.

Graham actually caught three passes during a two-minute drill drive late in the second quarter, but one was traded in for a penalty. The last was one snagged over the middle and taken into the end zone to give Houston the lead to stay. It marked his first touchdown of the season.

The tight end will try to score again next Sunday against Cincinnati.

Texans' role players contribute Week 7

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(10/21/2014) The Texans got contributions from several role players in Monday's 30-23 loss at Pittsburgh. Backup running back Alfred Blue ran five times for 14 yards and took a dumpoff pass 11 yards for his first career touchdown.

Tight end Garrett Graham caught two of three targets for 24 yards, and wideout Damaris Johnson had a 15-yard reception and a bad drop. Tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz hauled in a 9-yard pass, while receiver Keshawn Martin added a 5-yard grab.

They'll all visit the Titans in Week 8.

Texans backup pass catchers do little Week 6

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(10/10/2014) The Texans backup pass catchers didn't do much Week 6.

Damaris Johnson actually did play a big impact, finishing with 62 yards on three receptions. He caught every pass thrown his way. Johnson's 62 yards was good for second on the team.

Tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz also contributed, catching one pass for 7 yards. Garrett Graham was targeted one time, but did not come up with a reception.

They'll take on the Steelers Week 7.

Texans receive contributions from several role players in Week 5

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(10/5/2014) The Texans received minor contributions from several role players in a Week 5 loss to the Cowboys.

Alfred Blue took a backseat to a healthy Arian Foster and as result, he was limited to 16 yards on five carries. In the passing game, Ryan Griffin, Garrett Graham and Keshawn Martin each caught one pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick. Griffin logged eight yards, while Martin had seven yards and Graham only had three in a 23-20 overtime defeat.

Garrett Graham staring at a great matchup

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(10/1/2014) The Cowboys pass defense has held up better than we expected so far this season, with one notable exception; they cannot seem to locate tight ends on the field. That could work out quite nicely for Garrett Graham in Week 5, as the Texans get set to take on Dallas.

Graham has just 95 yards through three games since returning from a back injury, so this could be his best chance to breakout. The Cowboys are allowing 17.5 Fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends, by far the highest total in the league. They have allowed 98.8 yards per game and six total touchdowns, including at least one in each game.

Graham is, by no means, a slam-dunk starting option for Week 5. However, given the matchup, you could do worse. At this point, the Cowboys have to prove they can stop tight ends before we believe it.

Taking a look at the tight end waiver wire

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(9/30/2014) With key players like Vernon Davis (back), Niles Paul (concussion), Jordan Reed (hamstring) and Tyler Eifert (elbow) dealing with injuries, finding help on the waiver wire might be the key to success at the tight end position. Here are some of Jamey Eisenberg's thoughts on the best pickups for this week.

Larry Donnell of the Giants and Travis Kelce are likely to be the most-added tight ends when waivers run Wednesday morning, and Jamey admits to being "torn" on which he prefers. Dwayne Allen of the Colts, Garrett Graham of the Texans and Reed round out the top-five, while Austin Sefarian-Jenkins, Clay Harbor and Jace Amaro are sleeper adds for deep leagues.

Charles Clay of the Dolphins and Ladarius Green of the Chargers are considered drop-worthy, if you need a roster spot.
