Chiefs list 10 players as probable for Sunday at Pittsburgh

(12/19/2014) The Chiefs listed the following players as probable for Sunday’s game at Pittsburgh: Allen Bailey, Jamaal Charles, Anthony Fasano, Zach Fulton, Phillip Gaines, Jaye Howard, Josh Mauga, Joe Mays, Chris Owens and Sean Smith.

Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe (illness) and linebacker Tamba Hali (knee) are the only players listed as questionable. The Chiefs did not list any players as doubtful or out.

The Chiefs are 3-point underdogs.


Chiefs' Allen Bailey out for Sunday, Tamba Hali questionable

(12/12/2014) On the team's final injury report of the week, the Chiefs list defensive end Allen Bailey(concussion) as out for Sunday's game. Bailey missed last week's game as well. 

Cornerback Phillip Gaines (concussion) is considered as doubtful. Linebacker Tamba Hali, who participated on a limited basis Friday, is questionable for Sunday with a knee injury. Hali missed practice Wednesday and Thursday. He has five sacks and three forced fumbles this year.

The following players are listed as probable: Husain Abdullah, Donnie Avery, Jamaal Charles, Anthony Fasano, Junior Hemingway, James-Michael Johnson, Joe Mays, Chris Owens and Sean Smith

(12/5/2014) The Chiefs enter their Week 14 showdown vs. Arizona relatively healthy, according to its final injury report released on Friday. 13 of the 15 players on the report were listed as probable. Defensive end Allen Bailey and wide receiver Junior Hemingway were both ruled out with concussions.

(11/30/2014) The Chiefs have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday night's matchup with the Broncos: wide receiver Junior Hemingway (concussion), cornerback Jamell Fleming (hamstring), tight end Phillip Supernaw, quarterback Aaron Murray, center Eric Kush, tackle Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and defensive tackle Nick Williams.

Hemingway was previously ruled out on the team's final injury report. Fleming had been listed as probable to play in Week 13.

The team will have both defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson (calf) and cornerback Chris Owens (knee, abdomen) after both players were listed as questionable. While Fleming is inactive after being listed as probable, the following probables are active Sunday night: wide receiver Donnie Avery (groin), punter Dustin Colquitt (knee), tight end Anthony Fasano (knee), linebacker Tamba Hali (knee), cornerback Sean Smith (groin) and tackle Donald Stephenson (shoulder).

(11/28/2014) The Chiefs have landed double-figures on their injury report for the Sunday night game against Denver, but only wideout Junior Hemingway (concussion) is set to sit. Cornerback Chris Owens (knee/abdomen) and defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson (calf) are questionable while the other seven are probable.

That group consists of wideout Donnie Avery (groin), punter Dustin Conquitt (calf), tight end Anthony Fasano (knee), defensive back Jamell Fleming (hamstring), linebacker Tamba Hali (knee), cornerback Sean Smith (groin) and offensive lineman Donald Stephenson (shoulder).

Both Jenkins and Avery had been rushed out prior to the contest. Fleming was listed as questionable due to a hamstring issue. The other four players are healthy scratches.

(11/14/2014) Four Chiefs defensive backs have landed on the Friday injury report for their Sunday game against Kansas City. But only Jamell Fleming (hamstring) has been ruled out. Phillip Gaines (quad/ankle) and Chris Owens (knee) are questionable while Sean Smith (groin) is probable.

The others ruled out by the Chiefs are wideouts A.J. Jenkins (shoulder) and Donnie Avery (groin). The other questionable is tight end Anthony Fasano (knee). Headlining the probables are linebacker Tamba Hali (knee) and featured back Jamaal Charles (shoulder/elbow). Also probable are tight end Travis Kelce (ribs) and linebackers Josh Mauga (groin) and Josh Martin (hamstring/knee).

Berry has missed the last three games with his injury. Owens, who has started twice this season, will be out for the first time.

(3/22/2014) Veteran cornerback Chris Owens is headed to his fourth team in three years. He has been signed by the Chiefs. Owens played with Cleveland and Miami last season after starting his career with Atlanta.

Owens played 14 games in 2013 with three starts. He finished the season with 57 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks.
