Chiefs clear 10 injured players for Week 1

(9/7/2014) Chiefs safety Eric Berry (heel), defensive end Mike DeVito (hand), linebacker Tamba Hali (knee), wide receiver Junior Hemingway (hip), wide receiver A.J. Jenkins (concussion), linebacker Josh Martin (quadricep), running back Anthony Sherman (back), defensive tackle Vance Walker (hand), wide receiver Albert Wilson (ankle) and linebacker Frank Zombo (groin) were all cleared to play Week 1 vs. Tennessee. They were all listed as probable.

Chiefs list 13 players on final injury report before Week 1

(9/5/2014) The Chiefs unveiled a lengthy injury report list leading up to Sunday's season opener at home against the Titans. Running back De'Anthony Thomas (hamstring) was unable to practice all week and is the only player listed as doubtful.

Deemed questionable were center Eric Kush (shoulder) and cornerback Marcus Cooper (ankle). Wide receiver A.J. Jenkins (concussion), Eric Berry (heel), defensive lineman Mike DeVito (hand), linebacker Tamba Hali (knee), wide receiver Junior Hemingway (hip), linebacker Josh Martin (quad), defensive lineman Vance Walker (hand), wide receiver Albert Wilson (ankle), fullback Anthony Sherman (back) and linebacker Frank Zombo (groin).

(3/14/2014) The Chiefs announced the signing of former Raiders defensive lineman Vance Walker on Friday, per ESPN. Walker appeared in 15 games and registered 40 tackles with three sacks last season with Oakland.

(12/22/2013) Several Raiders who were on the injury report are active at San Diego, including safety Charles Woodson (ribs), linebacker Miles Burris (ankle), tight end Jeron Mastrud (wrist), linebacker Sio Moore (illness), guard Lucas Nix (illness) and defensive tackle Vance Walker (concussion). 

All were listed as probable except for Burris and Walker, who were questionable.

The lone exceptions are running back Jeremy Stewart (ankle/knee), who is out Sunday against San Diego, linebacker Miles Burris (ankle) and defensive tackle Vance Walker (concussion) who are questionable.

The probables include running back Darren McFadden (knee/ankle), who should return after missing the last three games, tight end Jeron Mastrud (wrist), linebacker Sio Moore (illness), guard Lucas Nix (illness) and free safety Charles Woodson (ribs).

The others are tackle Khalif Barnes (knee/ankle), guard Mike Brisiel (knee/ankle), defensive end Jason Hunter (foot/finger), tight end Nick Kasa (concussion) and defensive tackle Vance Walker (concussion).

(11/11/2013) Raiders defensive tackle Vance Walker recorded a sack for the third time in four games Week 10 at N.Y. Giants. He finished with two solo tackles.

Walker tied his career high in sacks, which he set last season. He also needs just 10 more tackles to tie his career high of 32, which he also set in 2012 with the Falcons.

(10/27/2013) Raiders defensive lineman Vance Walker totaled four solo tackles and one sack Week 8 vs. Pittsburgh. It was the second straight game Walker managed a sack.

Walker needs just one more sack to tie a career high, which he set in 2012 with the Falcons.
