Our new and improved Defensive Matchup Tracker will not only help you each week throughout the season, but in your Draft Prep as well. Our Dave Richard, Jamey Eisenberg and Nathan Zegura ranked each defense both vs. the run and the pass for this specific tool. The default view is the average of all three sets of rankings, but you can also filter by source to get different points of view.

Click on the team logos on the left to see projected Fantasy Points by week for each runner on the roster (provided by Accuscore).

Note: This tool will be updated throughout the season with actual 2011 statistical data to assist in your weekly roster management. You can choose to view either by specific player or by team.

What happened to Marques Colston?
by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(1:36 pm ET) Last week was the first time in 87 games that Marques Colston didn't have a catch. It had little to do with Browns cornerback Joe Haden. It had little to do with injury. It had little to do with his quarterback being constantly under pressure.

But it might have had to do with him not getting open, and it might have had to do with him not playing as much as you might expect -- just 41 of 70 snaps. And maybe a teeny-tiny bit of him fumbling the ball the last time he had his hands on it, a fumble in overtime of Week 1 that cost the Saints a chance at winning.

Maybe there's a smidge of penance that was paid for his Week 1 boo-boo, but the more concerning issue to Fantasy owners was Colston looking slow, which has been the case for a while. That makes him easier to cover and if he's covered, Brees won't throw it to him. To be fair, Brees also has a new toy in the offense (Brandin Cooks) as well as one of the most dominating pass catchers in the league (Jimmy Graham). It goes without saying that they're going to take up a lot of Brees' attention.

This will be a telling week for Colston as he'll play at home against the Vikings. The Saints should light up the scoreboard and if that's the case then Colston could be in for some nice numbers. If he can't do it this week, be it because of a lack of playing time or because he can't get free, then I might start to get nervous about having him as a part of my Fantasy roster.

Ben Tate expected to sit out again Week 3
